she was complaining about how people on the FB page were freaking about b/c she didn't post pictures and people were posting pictures. So i had just lost my mind and called and said that she should feel bad for not posting, she said she would SEVERAL times and its not that freaking hard. and if she was living in the moment, she could have posted a pic of a plate or a centerpiece or something and said that she is having the best time and will post more later. I also said that we waiting until Saturday and that "she couldn't be that hung over by Saturday night not to post" LOL 

 
I loved when you said “your girlfriend is a professional photographer”. Summed it up so perfectly. To Taylor’s credit she did acknowledge you were right in what you were saying to her.

So there was talk Rob and Lori may be cohosting tomorrow because Taylor is taking off (sick day). But Rob is not available. I would love to hear Rob and Emma together. I think that would be a good combo. But I am biased because they are my favorite cohosts. Also off topic but just started listening to Open Weider and love  hearing Kenny! It’s a great podcast.

Rob said that he was working for Jenny and when they arrived wherever Jenny was to meet Weinstein she said to Rob that he had to wait in the car. Rob was used to attending meetings with Jenny when he was with her. Unless I missed something, Jenny never gave Rob a reason for having to wait in the car while she met with Weinstein.  I wonder if Jenny will hear about this being spoken about and if so will she address it (maybe I am reaching with thinking she would care). I sort of wish Rob would not have given Jenny’s name when telling the story.

Maybe Taylor feels she does not have to ask for help or advice because of the amount of time she has “been in the business”. Or maybe she does not want to bother certain people. I agree with you that it would make sense for her to ask people like Maria for advice.  Then again we do not know who, other than Matt and TD, Taylor is discussing her new gig with.

Someone actually posted about going through the different stages of grief because of the show being cancelled. Are there seriously adult people that believe a cancelled radio show causes grief?  I guess some people are lucky enough to not have had to yet deal with true heartache (death of a parent, loved one, divorce, illness).  I miss the show too but come on people get a grip.

But doesn’t Taylor deserve some privacy? If I were fired, I wouldn’t want the whole world knowing why. I want to know as much as anyone, but I don’t think her former employer should give the details.

 
Agreed...if she was fired (as it appears she might have been), Sirius will stick with a canned response. Whether Taylor will ever address on IG remains to be seen.

 
I hear you BethosGirl but I think when you take on a job as a public figure you should expect fans to be interested when things like this happen. To me it is unfair to the listeners to not provide any reason for a show ending.  I wouldn’t expect every little detail to be provided but give us something.

I sent an email to Sirius asking why the show was canceled. Will let you guys know if I receive a response (although I would guess some of you will send the same email). I have been listening for at least a decade. Listeners deserve to know why a show is canceled.

Any other NY board members? I am curious as to where the Wake Up listeners live

I was going to post about this too!  She's been saying it quite a bit lately and I've been confused, glad you noticed it as well.  She would have a fit if anyone else made her a year older.

PS.  I've been a long time listener of the show and stumbled on this page a couple months ago.  You all are damn entertaining, I never realized how much I agree with everything on here, lol.

 
Glad I am not the only one that picked up on the age thing. Taylor seems so concerned about getting older which is why I am confused by her saying she’s 35 when she is 34.

I am a long time listener as well (pre-wusband/Mr.P days). I have to say that I do think Taylor does a good job overall. Yes she has faults but we all do. If she was really driving me crazy and/or I didn’t enjoy listening to the show I would just stop listening. I find myself listening on demand at night rather than watching tv. Just wanted to give T a bit of love because I think people (including myself) can be extra tough on her sometimes.

I could not believe this comment. I would love to see more postings from Taylor on Instagram. I think it is on her to engage more.

It bothered me when Taylor allowed Emma to think it was a work event. It was not a work event from what I remember. Maybe Taylor was embarrassed to admit it was not a work event.

I really think the 3 of them together would be a great fit. I liked hearing Andrea Laventhal yesterday. She's fun to follow on Instagram.
