I was on the fence with the white booties even when I bought them. But, I will say that any colored booties with that long pleated skirt probably wouldn’t work well. It just cuts her legs off at a weird point...and that would be true for anyone, not just specific to her. A short skirt with some tights, if it’s cold, or an ankle length cigarette pant would be better. Boots at the end of April is a heavy look.

As 420 said why not just get nice pair of pants, a cute top, and flats? That’s so easy and if the pants are plain enough and fit well all you need are a few nice shirts to spice it up. That’s true for any size.

Shout out to my fellow vision-challenged peeps! The struggle is real.

I’m willing to overlook the white booties, uniboob, swimsuits-as-a-bodysuit, and long skirts. The one thing that’s driven me up the wall FOR YEARS now is the jacket draped over the shoulders. I don’t get it. It’s certainly not a statement piece. It has no point. And it makes anyone doing this just look wider. It ranks up there with tying a sweater around your shoulder simply for “the look.”

Also, 2 winters ago I bought a pair of winter white pointed toe, kitten heel leather booties very similar to Taylor. I wore them with skinny jeans usually, put only maybe 5 times in the 2 years. I’ve recently put them in a giveaway pile, partly because I haven’t worn enough to keep storing them and partly because of what I’ve read on here

I still think they’re kind of cute and they were trendy a couple years ago, but I think it’s dying out too. I don’t see me reaching or them a third winter.

Lastly, does Taylor wear glasses? As someone who is VERY near sided and has needed glasses since I was 9, it kind of bugs me when people use them like a fashion statement.

Boy, I’m in a pissy mood tonight.

Loving your avatar J&C!!
Also spot on guesses for back up outfits! I’m partial to the Boreland but I’m sure that’s packed away until the PSL come back around 😂😂😂

I admit sometimes I’m a little slow and had to read this twice to get it. Then I immediately pictured what you meant and died. 😆

Sometimes I wonder though if she’s just trolling us trolls with her 3 repetitive outfits? I mean, it’s what I want to believe to make sense of it all.

Just...no.

Why do you think you will regret it?

Not for any logical reason. Just in one of those ways where you reflect back on any choice you make in life and wonder how things may have been different if you went another path. Or just missing out on the experience of it. All of those unknown things.

DB, it's clear you came on here to promote getting subscribers to his podcast.  I wouldn't have known about it nor looked into signing up if you didn't.  You're intentions were good there.  I guess you weren't supposed to tell others what was going to be on his show because it was in a closed group?

While I don't post much, I've listened since 2009, and have been on here for a few years now.  When he addressed me in a fragmented sentence and then proceeded to go off on someone else with such poor grammar I was confused and just thought it was someone pretending to be him.  When confirmed it was him, well that was too weird that someone would go off like that.  There are better ways of defending yourself.  When reflecting on what I've read on this forum, I think when he's spoken about it was mostly positive, or at worst, indifferent.

I won't be subscribing to paid content of his and I've unsubscribed to other things.  Let people have their closed Facebook groups and closed subscription groups and build up a fan-base or whatever they are trying to do that way.

I know me not wanting to support him now doesn't change anything.  I'm just one person in Indiana and not someone he'd want as a fan anyway, apparently.

The one thing I always enjoyed while reading here was that even though we may be discussing petty little “dramas” on a radio show everyone has always been pretty civil and drama free to each other.

Also, were we supposed to be hiding our IPs? That never even crossed my mind. I think I’ve  even stated my location on here once

I said “I’m sure there’s hurt feelings.” It’s all just my speculation, not that I actually know anything. I was referring to a post above that made mention of her not going to see his movie mostly, because I’d be bummed if a friend couldn’t make it. But maybe he doesn’t care about her behavior.

Who knows? It’s all just silly talk and nothing to take too seriously.

G’day! Great skandy on tomorrow’s show. Involving old Siriusxm coworkers. Inspired by a voicemail zimlingshow received...and i sit here you know living my truth and all and realizing how much truth i hold on to to protect people who probably don’t care much about me in the first place. Tomorrow the truth will ride! I’ll just tell you everything because well why not?

SAD THAT WE COULDN'T LEAVE THIS IN THE FACEBOOK GROUP AND HAD TO POST IT HERE...

WOULD YOU LIKE A TISSUE?

Oh lord, I thought this person was being sarcastic saying it was “sad” and the Facebook group didn’t allow it there. I guess not! What the hell, man, get a grip. If Kenny put this out there then it’s fair to repost it.

I hope to find out what this is all about! He’s stayed quiet on Taylor forever, I can’t imagine it’s about anyone else. I’m sure there’s hurt feelings. If it’s about her I might just want to pay to hear it.

I’m kind of with you on this. When Taylor was doing the rotating co hosts on SiriusXM I wasn’t a huge Carly fan either.

If it wasn’t for Emma I wouldn’t listen to SKC or In the Closet. I kind of am lukewarm about Matteo too. If it wasn’t for their interactions with Emma and how the play off of one another, I couldn’t listen to either of them just alone.

I only remember CCC calling in when on SiriusXM and know nothing about her son, but saying it’s for her to get attention totally brought the notion of munchausen by proxy to me and the crazy people out there that do that kind of extreme.

I HATED the smell. its smells musky and very peppery. My husband told me I smell like a man. so for me it was money wasted.

My husband told me I smelled like a lesbian LOL he hates it. But I like it enough to use the sample bottle at least.

Thanks for letting me know Nat &OP! Now I don’t have to order a sample. I know perfume can be expensive, but when I saw the price for a whole bottle, I was a little surprised. Too “rich girl” for my blood.

I had just made a point to look at her Instagram the other day and too was shocked at how she looked in the one with her mom, I had to actually re watch it. It wasn’t even so much “oh she’s gained weight” or age, her face doesn’t even look like her any longer.

I listened to both Lularoe episodes yesterday and oh my god was that insane. I had no idea when basically you’re buying someone’s product to resell at a markup you are expected to report back, uphold a corporate image, and answer to/brown-nose the higher ups? I thought you pretty much just did your own thing.

Obviously though that was the least of the crazy.

I had to look up what an MLM was too,and the rest of the episodes are pretty much things I’ve never heard of, but I think I’ll continue to listen anyway. I like me some good, insane gossip.

I have so many of the same questions from long ago and yet it still fascinates and boggles my mind.

My beef would then have to be with people from Indiana, like my husband, who are referred to as “Hoosiers.” Change that, it’s not cute, then you can correct me.

Wait - now I need to know how you said milk and eggs! I don't think of people from Chicago as having an overly pronounced accent.

I really don't have much, but when I went away to college (in central Illinois, mind you) there were people who noticed it.  Now I live outside of Indianapolis and I've had a few people ask me.  It's pretty slight but...

Milk = Melk
Egg = AA-g (long A sound with a "gh")
Leg = LAA-g (another long A)
Soda = pop

I think my brother has it less becuase he's quite a bit younger than I am and didn't grow up as much around grandparents and older relatives.  However, he says he's been teased as an adult about a few words too.

While I grew up in the south suburbs, my family is/was all from the South Side of Chicago.  My one set of grandparents had a bonafide "frunch-room."  That's how you'd say "front room" or "living room," if you're not in the know!

I do not say "sausage" weirdly or say "da" instead of "the."  Those people are far and few, that I've ever ran into.

Exactly what I thought! And even though she's selling high-end designer items I think they're too expensive. Especially the shoes, which are clearly not in great condition. 💁‍♀️

I think it would be more honest to also post a picture of the bottoms. As for the price, it is probably too high, but then again, a ton of people on Poshmark seem to think their used stuff is worth more than it is. You have to weed through a lot of crap to find a level headed sell on there.

In the staircase, I think he likely did it but the prosecution should have just stuck to the facts instead of turning it into a smear campaign. They did a poor job with the presentation and character assignation. I know the documentary is bias though so I can’t say for sure if they’re case was presented better.

I didn’t really think about the one adopted daughter looking like him, but you may be onto something with that observation!

I wasn’t too into Evil Genius either, but it was short enough that I got through it.

The Podcast Generation Why, in case anyone is interested, just covered The Staircase. It’s 2 parts but the second part isn’t up yet. You’d defiantly want to finish the documentary first before listening.

I cancelled my Patreon.  It was me.  I love Emma and I subscribed to a monthly pledge as soon as she started The Inside The Closet Patreon.  I emailed her nicely and explained why I cancelled.  Inside the Closet is hilarious but it is also a safe and helpful resource for LGBTQ young people to have questions answered and to find a voice/ safe place.  All in one show TS pleaded ignorance of her racist comment.  TS made no mention of the fact that aside from being racist it is a deragatory and demeaning term to call someone. In the same moment that she said she wouldn’t say it again she also said (to CCC) “ but you can’t take away Ho or slut”.  I’m paraphrasing so don’t jump my ass.  I see this as a problem.  Would Emma be okay with TS calling someone a carpet munching dyke?  Sorry to be graphic and crude. Just trying to make a point.   I’m not on an anti-Emma crusade. I think she is an amazing talent.  But I also take my financial support seriously.  I cancelled because I’m not okay with Taylor throwing around the terms Ho and Slut just cause she is jealous of people. So I cancelled my TS subscription.  When Emma steps away from TS I’ll reaubscribe.  But you can’t have it both ways.  I won’t support GWNJ.  Other people can do it but I choose not to go there.   People can disagree but it’s my personal choice.  I did email Emma and explain.  I didn’t ask her to step away from TS I just explain d why I personally was leaving Patreon since I

For the life of me I don't know why someone would be so passionate about that phrase that they feel the need to continue to use it even though they were informed of the meaning.  Even if you want to take race out of it, it's not nice to say about women (or men).  How feminist of you!
