Sorry if this was already discussed, but Taylor mentioned her breakup diet in the comments on her recent Robert Verdi IG post. At first I thought she meant TD...but now I'm thinking she means breakup with work. Anyone else see this?

Love this thread!

The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing is in my all time top 5 books.  The Wonder Spot by the same author (Melissa Bank) is very good as well.  SoftPretzels, these books are very relationship focused and I think might apply to what you are saying.  It is short stories throughout a girl's life and shows the heroines going in and out of relationships.

Currently I am reading Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari.  It's non-fiction, sociological about dating in the modern world.  It's a sociology book by a comedian, and he has such a great voice!

So not to get off the book topic much, but have you seen Aziz's show "Master of None"? So good! Love him

I am a huge fan!  Loved "Master of None"!  My husband and I also saw his stand up, and it was the best I have ever seen.  If you like "Master of None" I highly recommend his book.  His comedic voice definitely comes through in his writing.

Thanks for the recommendation! I didn't think about reading it because I'm married, but you are too...haha. I guess I was thinking too much and thought it could be taken the wrong way by reading a dating book.  I do have single friends I can pass along some info to

Loved the Glass Castle. Very haunting. It's an older book, but The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing is a great summer read!

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

Has anyone read Rude Jude's book, Hyena?  It was so gross but so funny. Very quick read. Took me an afternoon.

Yeahrightjackie Is that a pure black lab or a mix? We have a stray we adopted that looks EXACTLY like yours. I'm too cheap to do the DNA test. We think he might be lab/rottie.

Does anyone else follow Yaso Lida on social media? He is the Japanese listener who learned English by listening to WUWT. He travels to the US a few times a year and occasionally meets up with other listeners. I find him fascinating. His English is pretty good, but his mishaps are hilarious. Not making fun of at all...just find him very entertaining.

Does anyone have anything fun they've learned from the show lately?
I don't listen as much because of the repetition, but I like coming here to keep in the know.
I used to love listening to feel connected to NYC. I have family in NY and used to visit more often than I can now. I would keep a list of restaurants to try based on their recommendations. Since Tay doesn't go out as much, or keeps the places to herself... I don't feel like I'm missing out. I really liked her blog post on restaurants/bars.
I appreciate Tays fashion finds. I bought a bar necklace like one she had on one of her post.
She also exposed me to 2 hilarious Instagram-ers a while back: thefatjewish and f*ckjerry

It's sad that I don't feel like I'm missing much, but I may start tuning in more if others are finding some good nuggets.

Why would you let your 10 year old listen to Como Radio?!?!. Too bad she didn't take Taylor's advice and stop listening.

I would love to challenge Taylor to go without the following for 1 week:
-any story that took place in grade school or college
-mentioning her parents
-someone that "used to be in my life" (aka cliff girl)

WU- Taylor's in-studio bachelorette party (with the strippers)

CWP- Patrick falling out of the chair & anything with his mom

I also loved when Rude Jude was on either show
