I think he’s entirely happy where he is and I get such joy listening to him and Wider together! I really wish they would do it three times a week. They’re just so funny together and I love the discussions! He announced new tour dates on their podcast and sometimes plugs them on insta.

I think Babbs is the BIGGEST enabler. I believe she inflated Taylors ego and told her "Just make people pay, they will pay! You can get Sirius down to $8 a month. Girl why did you have to be so desperate?

His family is very, to say it kindly, self centered. So if I offered to have a Christmas early, they would kind of “how dare you” or go along with it, but still expect my husband to be there. No kids yet, so no problem there, but one day it’ll be an issue. He still spends Christmas with them...I don’t fully mind but spending actual Christmas together for once would be nice, however neither of us want to budge (side note: I do have the fun big family. They’re bland) cest la vie!

I have a question! What if you moved to live with husband whose family is right down the street and your family is states away? Then wouldn’t it be acceptable to always go see your family on major holidays because you constantly see his family on a weekly basis? Or would that be pulling a taylor? 😆

Oh Karma my heart aches for you! I truly hope you find the love and happiness of all the aspects of a healthy relationship that you deserve! I do hope counseling can happen, however, perhaps—please no one come at me with forks and knives—what about an open marriage situation? I know it is not the norm. However this is such a dire situation perhaps your wife would be open to this type of agreement? They’ve had topics like this on WU before and some callers called in very happy and content with their arrangement.

Please just don’t waste your life being unfulfilled.
