Excellent article! I think most influencers won’t care enough to make the change. They want to be paid for hawking crap.

The good reviews sounded like people who know her or are strictly Taylor fans and are reviewing to boost her ratings.. They don’t compliment or discuss the podcast. They talk about her as a host 🤔

Emma was in with Matteo this morning. They are so fun to listen to especially with Michelle. And tomorrow Stassi is on 😱

I’m a huge Kenny fan.  Been to two of his shows live and even spoke to him. Once he left WUWT i realized he was the only reason I listened. I love his brand of humor and fell out of love with Taylor times 1000000.I honestly forgot about his podcast because I don’t pay to subscribe to any and it didn’t even cross my mind. But DB thanks to your posting in here I was all set to subscribe. I’m not sure I will now. You’ve been his biggest supporter on these pages..

I rarely post here anymore because I do not listen to Taylor but I had to in regards to this. Sometimes the posts on here are too aggressive, but never towards Kenny 🤷‍♀️

Today I almost peed my pants listening. I don’t know the people she had on but they were hilarious.

I sell (sell being a loose term) Beauty Counter. Mainly I use it myself and have a group of friends who love it as well and that keeps me in business.

On another note (I should probably put this under the what are you listening to topic), I listened to the first episode of Drop Out....the Theranos scandal....Amazing! And I listened to the first 3 episodes of the Hart one (blanking on the name)...it’s captivating and amazing but as a mom it’s also really triggering for me. I will continue to listen but it hurts me to do so.

Well, I guess my biggest thing- especially if a company has a quality product and wants to actually do good- is why then choose the MLM system to sell your product? If it's really good, why can't I buy it at a beauty counter, a department store, or hell, even at Target? Why would you choose to use a system to sell that has been proven to be predominantly financially terrible for your sellers? That doesn't make sense to me. It can't be really about empowering women (as so many companies claim) because you know the vast majority of the women who sell it will not make money. So that is why I've come to a no MLM product stance; if you want me to buy your product, get it into a store, and stop scamming people. I now question the ethics of any company who chooses this sales model.

I actually don’t buy inventory (that’s not the business model) and get cut commission checks if people buy and just link me as their consultant. It doesn’t earn me a living, but it does for a close friend. She’s actually in Miami right now for an incentive trip. I’m actually LOVING serial season 3. It’s not suspense like the previous 2 seasons, actually I didn’t really like season 2, but I feel like this is eye opening in so many ways. I know our justice system is incredibly flawed but to hear about it in such a way is eye-opening. As a middle-class white woman, I’m disgusted how the white system keeps the cycle going for minorities especially lower class black families. So I keep listening as a check to myself to do better as well.

I think it doesn’t have the same congruent timeline but I tend to listen to a few back to back and that helps with the characters and jumping from one episode to the next and seeing the tie in.

I’ve said it before but I kind of like the sanctimoniousness. She’s passionate about things and even if I don’t agree with that passsion, I appreciate that she has a backbone. That’s how I feel about Jenny McCarthy too. Besides when I occasionally pop on here, I no longer give Taylor a second thought. These other shows fill the void. I could still do without Dr. Laura though.

Didn’t you guys think that she was just doing a schtick for the WAM segment? It felt so put-on to me like she was acting (but a poor actress). Was I the only one who thought that?
