I still listen every day. I miss Kenny SOOOOOOOOOO much, but I need to start my day with entertainment and Taylor fills that.  I like fluff in the morning and it does it for me.

I have use it or lose it vacation. So, it makes sense to combine a vacation with a work trip. from a tax standpoint, the airfare can be written off and some hotel days. there hasn't been a lot of days taken this year and at 10 years she probably has 4 weeks to use. This was a smart decision on her part.

I like someone who will balance Taylors crazy. Too much loud crazy is TOO MUCH.

First I wanna say I love Kenny and I do NOT want to se him leave wake up. I like the balance of Tays cray cray with is calm reasonable less cray. But, if he were to leave, I wonder what Sean Kilby is doing. He is into trivial pop culture and reality tv. I miss hearing his voice.

every now and then I buy the Nutella with pretzel sticks. Because I need it in a single serving and can't control myself with a jar of Nutella.

First, I'm glad Taylor has found some happiness and love. I wonder if she is putting together the pieces of her life now. She has said for years she doesn't understand how women can like sex. I have always thought that was so incredibly sad. Sex with the right person is FANTASTIC. I never understood how with every relationship man she never enjoyed sex. Even in marriage.  The fact that her dad had a conversation with her about it was mortifying. I wonder if her parents are like, now we get it.
She said that at the sex intervention only Kenny knew. It makes more sense now why Kenny was so protective of her during it. I hope that finding love with help her with that hurdle.

Recently she said Brett wanted to get together and she didn't reply. I bet he had heard the news and wanted to talk to her. I do wonder what his Mom and sisters think about this. Their heads are probably exploding. It would be funny to hear what they have to say.

This little twist would only add to Radio in The City. Come on Andy, you know you wanna dig into this situation.

And, I think Taylor was really struggling for years and that was a part of what made her seem a little vapid with the recycled stories. She didn't know what was going on with herself so she had to stick to the surface and only speak on trivial stuff.

I get it about keeping her dating life on the down low for a while. I loved the relationship stories through the divorce. but it's a lot to put the mate through. The things that people speculated about her relationship including creepy details on where she lived and pics, copies of the real estate stuff, that would freak me the F out. I'm sure people in her life tell her how much is out there and she needs to keep some stuff to her self. I would if she were my friend,.

 Ahhhh - the Whole 30 changed my life (did it 3 years ago). I am not 100% Paleo, but try to be about 80% - and when I'm not following it for the majority of the time my body rebels BIG TIME. I'm also not lactose intolerant, but dairy isn't my friend and that wasn't clear to me until I did the Whole 30. Not a skinny gal, but feel healthy. And every year when my doc runs my #'s (bp, cholesterol, glucose) he tells me it's awesome, so that makes me happy. My husband's doctor told him the same. Good luck to you - the first few days of W30 are the hardest, you are on the home stretch now and just reaping the good benefits! my only downfall is caffeine. I would murder someone without coffee. I have gotten over the lack of sugar free vanilla coffee mate. when it's fall it will be hard to not have pumpkin spice sugar free coffee mate. I did Adkins in 2000, lost 70 pounds and felt great. I think Taylor and Kenny are both keeping the show relevant as they age, with the topics they chose and don't focus on anymore. Kenny took the 7 things from the old show and touches on what's happening in the news. This conversation reminds me a thought I had recently. Since they're no longer affiliated with Cosmo, it makes sense to Move in other directions. If there was still a Cosmo radio that was so brand focused I don't know if I would listen anymore. I loved the magazine for about 20 years then lost interest.
I'm all about some superficial fluff entertainment. But I still enjoy the show and how they're keeping it relevant as they age. I like the doctors. I'm kind of a nerd though, and Kenny makes me realize I'm not the only hypochondriac running loose with too many questions.
 

I catch a show on Saturdays with ***** and Brandi from the peoples couch. They're entertaining. Sometimes I heat Andy live (on a repeat) When I flip by nothing has held my interest for more than a few minutes. I like Bethany, I thing I was the only person watching her talk show... I'll check it out.

I love Kenny and would be so sad if he wasn't there. There has to be some balance of Taylors personality. She is high strung lots of energy, Kenny is more balanced and calm. When other people guest host like Robert it can be a bit much.
I wished that Shawn Kilby could have co-hosted when Kenny was on leave but they worked such different shifts. Now that Sirius made the move to have a producer in California with Patrick and Shawn is gone, I really miss him. He was a perfect fit for "Cosmo radio" because he is another calm sensitive guy and understands trivial entertainment nonsense. I thought that was a dick move by the company to literally show him the door and not tell Patrick till after. Patrick was off on Sunday and Monday and he joked last week Tuesday that he was pulling a Kelly Ripa by being out in protest.

Lots of people (Americans) are afraid of lots of stuff because of the propaganda on television. So, you it's hard for me to judge people on that. We are consistently fed stereotypical information about other places in the world and about the US in general. Imagine if you lived in a town with no diversity and the only images you saw of other people came form the news, movies, and television? Most people would be afraid in a situation when they actually encountered other people.  I have a friend form Ethiopia. Before meeting him the only depictions I had of Africa are the images we're fed on tv and his life is nothing like that. It took being faced with the truth to realize the media often focuses on little tidbits.  
 

I call every July, on a day off, with time to spare. I generally have to speak to a rep who doesn't know English. Then I ask to speak to customer retention. 2 years ago I got no satisfaction on the phone and I said I was just going to cancel mid July before I would be billed. I tweeted SiriusXM complaining about the customer service and someone tweeted back in about 2 minutes and asked me for my info. I ended up renewing. I always pay for a year in advance and for my home and car I paid $140. The auto renewal would be $274 for 1 car and the app. No way will I pay that much. I just got a mailer to "come back" for $20 for 7 months. I put it in a basket so I have ammunition when I call in July. I generally end up telling customer retention (very nicely) let's not play games. If I cancel you're going to send me a ridiculous offer, let's just figure this out now. Works each time. I do the same with cable. I am going to cut the cord at the end of may and I'm afraid, but it's so crazy I can live without it.
