Radio in the City?

During her interview this morning with Emily Mortimer, T said she and her bf Nicole are working on something together. Hmmmm.... Maybe Radio in the City is still in the works? Which leads me to this conspiracy theory- T has been relying on old stories and quiet on social media because she has a contract to not talk about things that might be storylines on Radio in the City.

Re: Radio in the City?

Excellent thought!!!! We are hearing repeated old stories cause she's saving the new stuff for a new project....hmmmmm. Honestly tho, Taylor has so annoyed me lately that I now don't know that I would follow her to something new. I listen from 6am-7am as I haven't found anything else. Come Monday and the launch of Radio Andy, I am hoping that will change and I will move on from hoping Taylor will improve.

I have high hopes for Radio Andy too.

Re: Radio in the City?

That would be kind of absurd to sacrifice your bread and butter for a potential.  I thought radio and the city was something they put together and producers are trying to get it picked up??? I'd think if the show is radio in the city she'd want to keep the radio job and not lack in that area for it. I don't think Nicole is doing that. She has seemed to find a balance.

Re: Radio in the City?

Yeah, if she's sacrificing her radio job for a show, she's nuts. I watch a lot of Bravo and other channels and the vast majority of those very niche shows don't last more than a season (remember the one about the women who were matchmakers and sex experts? Or Jersey Belle? Or Courtney Loves Dallas? Or Gallery Girls? Or that one with the female chefs?).

Re: Radio in the City?

Ok so a show about a divorcee radio host who refused to talk about anything personal in her life and she hangs out with 22 year olds and doesn't talk about anything relevant on her show? I'm sorry but this is the epitome of laziness and self centeredness (not a word just go with it). This is like asking a child what they want to be when they grow and and then answering "famous". She doesn't want to reach out to her listeners now and fight for a replay in the am or have a really good radio show. I would probably watch the reality show if there was one but no way it wil do well. Taylor would be a sidekick at best to Nicole who probably has the real star power.

I'm a fan of Taylor's I am but the show is really bad lately and It's getting to me.

Ha!  Glad I'm not listening now.  Her interviews are horrible.

Re: Radio in the City?

I'm not listening, but based on this, soon I expect to hear "Ugh Emily Mortimer was the WORST person to interview"

Who's Radio Andy?

Re: Radio in the City?

Andy Cohen from Bravo. Taylor will be toast.

Re: Radio in the City?

I usually skip all of the interviews unless I'm a big fan of the person. Did anyone hear Jeremy Sisto tell her that was the worst interview ever when he was on last week?? He was kind of laughing but not really, and she laughed it off and said she thought it was great.

Re: Radio in the City?

This is sort of interesting....the production company site still says "packaging done spring 2015", so it seemed like the project might be dead until I ran across this tweet from June by the Bravo producer who tagged Taylor in those posts with #radiointhecity way back when. Maybe the project still has legs? The guy she tweeted @ is an editor that worked on Shahs of Sunset.

Re: Radio in the City?

I listened to stassi's podcast and at the end Taylor said "we should have our own podcast or a reality show about radio." She paused and then laughed. I could be reading into it but it made me think she was subtly hinting there IS something coming up.

Re: Radio in the City?

That Erin Foye is also the producer of Vanderpump Rules. I guess she produces several Bravo shows. I noticed she's in Charleston now so I wonder if she's doing Southern Charm. I remember when this relationship started with Taylor even Brett would like her pictures on instagram. I believe Taylor even posted a picture of her at her apartment once so I think they are "friends." Also, this producer liked a picture of Kenny's baby so there is definately a relationship there whether anything ever comes of it we will see.

Re: Radio in the City?

There's been a lot of talk lately about Taylor's bad behavior- I imagine reality show producers don't go after the reserved, well-mannered type. Doesn't exactly make for exciting TV. Maybe what we saw on the "Pizza Periscope" was actually pretty accurate.

What's interesting is Taylor is such a big fan of Real Housewives, talks so much shit about how terrible most of them are....and yet wants to be the star of a Bravo show herself? Apparently she hasn't connected those dots. Even if she does get a show, it will probably be a one-season wonder a la Gallery Girls/Princesses of Long Island, and the girls on those shows were a joke. Vapid, money/fame hungry and entitled. Oh wait....

Re: Radio in the City?

If that is really what she strives for, to be a reality star, then that's the epitome of laziness and self entitlement. That's like asking someone what they want to be when thy grow up and them saying "famous".

Re: Radio in the City?

But you don't become famous by talking shit about every other celebrity. Burning every bridge possible. Class is something no amount of money can buy T. I'm surprised Nicole and her are so close . Nicole sounds so nice and down to earth...quite the opposite of Tay.

Not like Taylor love the Kardashians or Housewives of XYZ for their many accomplishments.

From the Insta looks like they were on the show. Did anyone catch it and if so what did they say?

Re: Radio in the City?

Based on the timing of the tweets/IG posts, I'm assuming they were there to record a segment for later.

Re: Radio in the City?

I just don't understand what she would be doing on tv? Nicole seems crazy busy and always doing fun stuff, what would Taylor bring to a show though?

Re: Radio in the City?

Yep, those are Bravo producers. I saw they were in NY.

Lots of people might enjoy seeing her. Think about all the shows on BRAVO, I watch some and some I cringe at and turn the channel.  I'd watch.

Ya, I guess. I'm not a reality tv watcher, so it's seems so strange to me.

Re: Radio in the City?

I wonder if this is a go again. I heard Taylor talking today about "being interviewed for something" and she was talking about how the divorce wasn't hard on her because she already mourned it while still married

But then a friend of hers was also being interviewed and she was talking about how she was mourning Taylor's divorce. I think this was all during the jacklyn Novak segment.
