Maybe she was a better dresser when she was tiny? I agree with wintercici, she doesn't seem to know how to dress for her body type. She actually makes herself look bigger all over the way she dresses. It ends up looking very schlumpy. I did love her most recent Fashion Week outfit however, the one with the dress, boots and coat I think? That was flattering for her figure.

That outfit was fabulous!!!!

I was looking at her old Instagram (sad how many photos there was with Nicole ) and she had some great outfits. Not sure what's changed, maybe a bit of depression?

1) She can no longer pour her entire paycheck into shopping sprees.

2) She has gained weight and her old-life wardrobe no longer fits.

Re: Blog!

I also think that she drew a lot of cultural inspiration from people in her "old life".  She shits on them now but you have to admit: her social life was much more interesting and she seemed to have her finger on the pulse of forthcoming trends.

Re: Blog!

Idk that it was better. I think she still does a lot and talks about it less on the show which is what it is missing.  Imo she kinda dresses like she always did but used to post the done up dressed up pics.

Re: Blog!

All the fashionistas I know would never be caught with an air dry and no makeup. She just looks so blahhh. If you are in the "entertainment industry" this is unacceptable. You should always dress for the job you want, not the job you have. And she tries to hide her body by wearing baggy outfits. This usually works best when you are super skinny. Taylor does not have a body of an Olsen twin.

You don't need to spend lots of money to dress nice and brush your hair.

Re: Blog!

But maybe she is wearing makeup. I know for me, I can spend 30 minutes doing my makeup, take a picture and I still look like I'm wearing zero makeup. She might just not know how to do her makeup.

Has Taylor ever worn colors?

Re: Blog!

I'm sorry but was that razor thing a serious post?! First off-I've been using those things for a good 10 years, I don't feel like they are a new "beauty secret". If anyone out there hasn't heard of them yet...Tay is right, they are awesome but such old news. I feel like it'd be like if she wrote a post on flossing sticks and said it was her "new secret beauty tip". Girl please. This is the type of content you need a "weworks" space and "team" of people for?!? It's driving me mad. Slap a cute outfit on and have TD take some pics of you in the city-perfect weather for shooting and showing us your summer outfits! Or go out to a bar during happy hour alone as an experiment and tell us what happened. It's insulting at this point, all those meetings and working you do all day...where the fuck is the result?!

Re: Blog!

It would've been something quick and fun to post on Instagram. Like give a quick beauty tip or product every week on Instagram. So easy

I feel like such a tool, but is it just a razor? Are people shaving their upper lip hair & eyebrows? I can't imagine that ending well?

Re: Blog!

I mean I agree, I feel like that is definitely more appropriate for a quickie IG post. I feel like if you're going to blog, have something to say!? I couldn't imagine she spent more than like 10 min putting together eight sentences about a disposable razor? The way she talks about living in NYC like it is the best thing ever and the rest of us are just hillbilly troll people, well wtf are we missing out on?? Please use your blog to enlighten us....

But she makes money off of people clicking through her blog posts to get to the products. That's why she does so many damn gift guides - to get the clickthrough money. It's beyond stale at this point.

I totally agree!! Living in NYC means she has so much at her fingertips to share. I lived in NYC half my life, now I live an hour outside it and there's positive and negatives. I was thinking that would be a great blog post!! Pro vs con of city life. And how she deals w the cons. Could be multiple posts. Places to see in NYC...so so many things to post about! On top of many other subjects. Just things for viewers to buy n make $ for her, that's not as enriching as she can make it. It would be so great to see more from the blog. I think it's a great way for her to expand her brand, connect with us more after the show etc.

Re: Blog!

Another week and another half assed blog post.  Like that she did a fashion find.  But why not go in to more detail about the party, what you did or who you mingled with.  These types of events have the ability for her to blog multiple days about multiple things and she doesn't!

I would love more insight into her life and what she does in the city. I can understand not wanting to share everything and the potential for radio in the city but for that to be a success you need to be generating new fans.  She has the ability to she just needs to focus herself and her "team" to achieve what she wants.

Re: Blog!

Or how about create your blog posts so they don't look like they are written by a middle schooler.

Re: Blog!

I wish she would blog about going out in NYC and the restaurants/places she goes.  She could Instagram or periscope from these places.  Recently, she said she went alone somewhere but didn't blog about it despite the fact that she said she never goes anywhere alone. It would be cool to read about the experience or watch a periscope of her at the location.

I loved listening years ago because she kept me informed about the great places and fashions.  Now it's all doctors and Justin Bieber.

LOL this is so true!  My aol instant messenger screenname during middle school had girl spelled u in place of the i and I have never even considered mispelling something like that since.  I always think that when I read her blogposts.

Re: Blog!

Ok, the shopping guide for Father's Day is just plain juvenile. She does know that her dad's not paying for her prom anymore, right?

Is it me?  Maybe it is.

Yes, there will always be new listeners and hopefully they're young.

It's not just you girlfriend! Not gonna lie, that was rough. First off, the tone is so gross about busting their ass to buy you stuff? I get it was supposed to be funny i guess, but...yuck. C'mon Tay. I'm sure my 74-yr old dad is gonna love a patent leather crocodile wallet or some beige suede loafers w/ a sole that looks like a pencil eraser. Maybe the HD gift card or liquor, but I didn't really need her help with that. Here's hoping for some interesting content next week!

I like Taylor's yellow outfit on her blog. I think she looks fabulous. I couldn't pull that off but I think it's perfection on her.

Re: Blog!

I just read her latest blog and I so wish she would use "than" rather than "then". Such a pet peeve of mine.  I also wish the girl would throw in a comma once in a while. I know I'm a huge grammar snob, but with her giant team, you'd think she'd have a proof reader.

I've noticed that she doesn't have her arms in the jackets in a lot of her pictures (yellow one, red white and blue sparkly one, and the long camel colored one in the desert). Is that a thing, or just something she does?

I am also a card-carrying grammar snob, and while I understand that the blog is meant to be light/fun and she's trying to inject her personality into the posts, I find her writing style utterly unsophisticated. The prevalence of spelling and grammar errors combined with her juvenile tone present more like "16 year-old amateur wannabe fashion blogger" rather than "aspirational style of a worldly Manhattanite", which is what I beleive is the brand image she wants to create.

For a woman of her education and experience to present as a professional work product blog posts like this is frankly embarrassing. She cranks them out just so she can check the blogger box and say "See! I do work!"- it is abundantly clear that her heart really isn't in the posts.

I think she would be much better off with quality vs. quantity- one substantial post a week that actually contains some editorial content (NOT just a gift guide, those are total cop-outs) would be better than daily drivel.

I might be from the Sunshine State, but I can still be a little shady.🌴

Amen sister....amen. I, too, carry the card (and get paid to proofread, which makes me nervous to post here!) Her blog posts embarrass her rather than further her brand. If a company is going to do research on her to see if she is bankable, they will take a look at that website (including her lack of diversity in posts and poor use of English language skills) and take a pass. Any company worth anything, that is.

Re: Blog!

Her Southern Charm Reunion recap was extremely unprofessional. If she expects to advance her career in the entertainment industry, she needs to observe more and judge less.

Observation: Shep brings home a lot of ladies.  Judgement : Shep is a douche.

Observation: Kathryn and Thomas have a volatile relationship. Judgement : Kathryn is crazy

Do you ever see Andy Cohen talk like this to his guests? No!  Hopefully Taylor never runs with  a crowd that knows any of these people. Way to keep burning those bridges Tay!

I was just wondering the same thing. A bunch of pics on her insta are the same: jacket+Arms out...its not my personal style. It seems like she's trying too hard to come off casual, but what do I know? I'm no fashionista, that's for sure. Plus I would drop and lose my jackets lol
