Did anyone listen to Stars today? I got in the car and it's off the air. Said something about checking back.

I gave My Favorite Murder a try (bc I'm weirdly obsessed with serial killers and murder stories), but it wasn't my thing. Too much rambling. I started listening to Last Podcast on the Left. The stories are well researched, and with three people hosting, they keep each other from getting too far off topic. And they are funny.  They cover a range of topics, but i just listen to the gruesome/scary episodes (seriously, what is wrong with me?!). The episodes they did on Jon Benet Ramsey (sp.?) were great; I can't believe they never solved her murder.

I stumbled across a podcast this weekend called #SorryNotSorry. It is a comedian Jenna Kim Jones and her husband. They have a great dynamic. He's hilarious and she just has the best laugh. She does a hysterical impression of Julia Childs. They talk about nothing and everything, and it's so entertaining. I've listened to 15 episodes, and I can't stop.

Let me know if you come across any good ones! So far I've read Natalie Holloway, Jon Benet Ramsey, the little Australian boy they're still looking for, Luka Magnotta, Karla Homolka and the Dee Blanchard I posted up thread. Working my way through Ariel Castro now.

I hate when they get fighty or off topic, but some of the points are amazing, stuff I never would have though of!

Oh, have also read about the missing Malaysian plane and Elsa Lamb <----that is so messe up!! I think Buzzfeed did an article on her that was a really good a few months ago.

Have you seen the side by side one? The original one the police released has stuff cut out and is shows in a faster speed. In the original, she isn't nearly has jumpy, she seems almost playful. It was months ago I watched, YouTube maybe?

I haven't listened to Rachel's yet, but I just saw Jackie from the Bitch Bible is on this week. What is Rachel's podcast about?

For me, its that she has lost authenticity. I loved the show because it was real and from the heart, the good & the bad. Now every other story seems to be a lie, a misrepresentation, or terribly far fetched. I now listen out of boredom because I've yet to find anything else great at 7am, but its half assed and I rarely take in what I'm listening to, its just back ground noise.
 

I'm not that offended when she switches from whusbamd to boyfriend/ GF to friend who namnys.. If it's a BF it could be one of several guys not a specific one. And friend who nannys gives TD some anonymity for the casual listeners. Not the people who come on this board.

Agree. She's doing the decent thing and not calling Brett out during every story. She's saying "ex-boyfriend" to make it more anonymous. She says "friend that's a nanny" to not share every story about TD, attempting to give her some semblance of privacy. I respect her for trying. It's not totally possible as she talks for 3 hours a day, has shared so much of her life, daily listeners can read between the lines. But still, if she kept saying 'Brett did this, and Brett did that..", that would be crappy.

I used to love wuwt. Now, I don't even bother listening. I would mostly listen on demand when I was working. I hope they do get their ratings from on demand listeners. There have to be more like me. She never tells us anything anymore. Everything is a secret. Instead of saying you're working on projects say I'm trying to get THIS going. It was nice hearing about someone else's life. Listening to her now is like listening to a famous person who never spills any "tea". Boring. And she's not famous enough to carry that type of interest. I don't care her opinion on politics etc. I just liked it because she was a regular woman sharing her life.

I do like Stasi. I had no idea who she was before she was on wuwt. I listen to her podcasts at times though and she is SO REAL. I love it. I'd choose her any day over Taylor. For example, she is dating now and had some guy on whose friend she was going on a date with right after the podcast. She told him how she's neurotic and has anxiety and how she's not being like that to him-just her friends. Now that I can relate to and even if I couldn't it's real and entertaining.

I stopped listening to fm radio because I couldn't stand all the segments. I liked the talk radio reality show that WAS wuwt. I hope it can be restored (although doubtful and even so-I'm just not that interested in her life anymore.

I'm pretty sure Andy's show is live at 10:00am.  They do repeat it a lot during the day.

I'm right there with ya! I can't do the useless small talk for 20-30 minutes. I just feel like, if you're going to do a posdcast on a specific topic, get to the topic within the first few minutes. They aren't really my kind of funny, but I can usually get past that and learn to laugh along after a few episodes. But just haven't got there with this one! 

Everyone raves about it, I just can't get into it. I think its too random for me, and (while they clearly admit it) their facts are so messed up sometimes I'm just yelling at them.

Has anyone listened to Missing Maura Murray? I'm on episode 3 and while the story is really interesting, the hosts are awful. Hoping it'll get better?
