Oh! She also said she needs to be more careful about who she shares her secrets with and basically said she's stopped sharing certain information with those friends.

This forum did not create the drama between Taylor and her college friends. Taylor did that all on her own.

Awesome recap! But I think Carin needs to start teaching Taylor accountablility. She screams insecurity from what I just read. And Carin seems awful. Brett told her she could not have a 27th birthday party? What is more concerning is why she speaks of him like he is her father and she is a child.
Offline
I'm guessing he was against having a party and telling family members they aren't invited, not that she couldn't have one. Prob said if you have one we have to include my family. I don't disagree with that.

I don't think Carin is interested in holding Taylor accountable, because Taylor can't handle that, and Carin wants to be on Taylor's show and collaborate with her.

I agree with this. They have crossed the friends line, and really helping her might ruin the relationship and alienate Carin's new audience.

A few of you mentioned you were hoping for advice about making friends in the Webinar. I've moved around a lot in my adult life (all over the country), so have had to make friends a bunch of times (and I am a super introvert, so it is not always easy!). Here's what been helpful to me (I'm 30 if it makes a difference):
* Meetup.com - join up in groups that are of interest to you! The ones that have worked best for me are ones that target my age group. You will meet PLENTY of duds at these events, but if you connect with one or two people, that can help you get a foundation. I get so nervous heading to these events, but honestly, everyone is there for the exact same reason as you.
* Trivia nights are great activities. Suggest one on in a group on meetup.com, ask 1-2 friends and ask them to bring a friend or two, etc. Trivia nights keep the conversation going, because there is typically a question to work on. But there is still enough time for other conversations. I also think you get to see people's personality types quickly, and that helps you find who you'll click with.
* Sports leagues! There are so many adult sports leagues. Search for one in your city. I've had teams where we've all become best friends, I've had some where I've never talked to teammates ever again, but it can be a really great way to connect. If you aren't terribly athletic, try corn hole, bowling, or curling (which is actually super fun).
* Niche workout studios - in the city I lived in previously, I met a ton of girls through barre. Now I take pole dancing, and we're all very tight. When you're a regular at a small fitness studio, you definitely develop camaraderie.
* Roommates - they can be a PITA, but the right roommate for a year can open up your social network.
Just some of my thoughts! Hope it helps

I've done Meetup too and liked it. I also joined a volunteer group in my community. My schedule is slammed, but when I have the time to devote to it it's a great way to meet friends with similar interests.

Is anyone doing the webinar tonight? I'm interested in the topic but can't justify the $50.

Carin is doing a 21 day love your body on Instagram now, I would assume the seminar is gonna be along the line of that?

I'm not paying $50 for a webinar to hear Tay's same stories we hear on WUWT on a weekly basis. Carin is always talking about Wake Up listeners that participate in her retreats(?) in the Philly area. Anyone ever go to one of her retreats?

I was interested too because I struggle with my weight and making healthy choices. And Kenny is going to be there! but I just can't spend the money and I can only take Carin in short bursts.

I would be interested in this topic 'cause I love all that body stuff and would consider it.... but I have a feeling that these are going to be the beats of this webinar:
Taylor: "I felt like my legs looked chunky in my bicycle pants when I was little."
"I ate oranges and did Buns of Steel with my dad. The doctor."
"My mom is beautiful and petite petite petite."
"I tried Soul Cycle but it hurt my vagina"
"I eat English muffin pizzas"
"My friends are all skinny NY models"
"Jewish girls and my Ex-SILs are naturally skinny"
"I need to get healthy"
Carin: "OK, put yourself on the hook!"
..........Crickets..........

Just got major fomo from her scope...mainly because Kenny is going to be there. BUT, then I remembered the 50 bucks I threw away on the first ever webinar. I agree - I need major work on body image. Struggled with a few eating disorders in my late teens into adulthood and I think some good points might be made tonight; however, the amount of eye rolling that will come from Tay being "borderline" anorexic...I just cannot tonight

If anyone is really interested in the seminar and you didn't watch Periscope, you'll also get an consultation with a dietitian worth $150.
Periscope thoughts...
So BIG announcement coming tonight! Another flop to draw people in?
I'm assuming not to many people sign up if Carins friend is giving everyone a $150 consultation? It's not as if she is getting anything out of it.
Taylor's skin looks fabulous!! It's really clear and bright, even with no make up, she looked really good.
Her team is gonna kill her!! A blog every week, and a Periscope every week?? How will she manage?!?
I think it's fun Kenny is gonna be there tonight, I don't know that the conversation will stay on track though and people will get much from it? He's always had his own body issues though, so maybe it'll be really good.

She loves that H&M turtleneck! It's the same thing she wore in the last webinar.

I love that sweater! I bought two similar cause I liked it so much lol
I would think it's awfully warm though? New York has to be warmer then Toronto and I would be dying in that here today.

Lol. I was reading old posts in this thread thinking they were from today. And someone said Taylor is talking about dealing with mean girls and hatings her sil's. I was like, again!? Then I realized I was reading posts about the old webinar. I didn't even think it was that weird that Taylor was having a webinar about the exact same thing. Haha!

She blasted on periscope a fan who said they were drinking Zinfandel? $ shaming, maybe they couldn't afford "secco" or that other wine. Shit I'm a Mich light gal. She'd straight up call me white trash! Lol
Offline
You blast adults for drinking White Zinfandel because it's gross Koolaid. You drink that when you are 18 years old.

I just saw on twitter that she and Carin are doing a weekend retreat in South Beach for $1,000 (no hotel or plane included).

Would be fun to do a meet up at the hotel while they're there!

There best be a lot of booze involved!!!!

Color me surprised, another excuse for Taylor to write off a vacation as "work". And hello Apple, can a girl get an eyeroll emoji for the love of god?!?!
