Question about renting a car in New York?

I'm planning to come to New York for three days, and the question of getting around the city immediately arose. I would like to be free to plan my program, so I wondered whether I should rent a car. Or is it possible to get everywhere in time and see all the sights by public transportation?

Re: Question about renting a car in New York?

To be honest, I am confused by the idea of using public transportation exclusively. After all, in my opinion it is quite tiring - running back and forth with a backpack, waiting for trains and dealing with bus schedules.

Re: Question about renting a car in New York?

I can share my optoim. I traveled to this city twice. The first time I used public transportation, and later I took a car. I can say unequivocally - the difference is huge. A car gives you incredible flexibility. You can go anywhere and anytime, whether it's early morning or late at night. No need to worry about train schedules or crowded cars. Here is a great article on how convenient it is to rental a car in New York.
