Ugh, I'm currently getting ready for a party I decided to throw at my house for my daughter's soccer team to celebrate a very winning season....I'm wondering what in the actual hell is wrong with me, thinking it was a good idea to have 22 8-10 year old girls at my house, lmao! It seemed like a good idea at the time but today I'm like, shit, what have I done to myself..... Plus it's an outside party with a bouncy house and it's decided to be an extremely windy day, with 30 mph wind gusts, FML. It's been beautiful out every day this week until now. Kansas living.....
Haha good luck! No one will know if there's wine in your cup... 😉🍷

Ha, thanks! It went fine, but was hectic as all get out. The girls had fun- and I don't even need to hide the wine drinking, these soccer moms roll up with coolers of beer, lol! We don't mess around; drinking is just a part of the whole soccer parent experience in our group. We sat our happy little asses on the deck with cocktails while the children ran amok in the yard.

First bit of down time I've had his week, on the couch with a bottle of wine, a box of golden grahams and watching the hockey game. Please tell me you're doing something more exciting!

Totally agree with Karma! I took/was forced out and took a major pay cut! Don’t get me wrong, the person before me, got paid what I was making, and did significantly less, and that still rubs me wrong. But I love my job, it’s just the right amount of human interactions and finance reports.

I have too much time in towards retirement. We promised our son we would stay put until he graduates high school as we have moved him five times. Once he graduates, I will look to make a change.

Well, that certainly puts a wrinkle in things. Hopefully your son graduates soon.

Aww, that sucks, girl. Been there. Great parenting though to consider your son's needs, I'd do the same. Just remember when the day starts to suck, take a visit here to Troll Town- we'll help you get through it!

He’s asking me to verify different organs, because I cook whole store bought chicken and organs come in those. No sir.
