I just got off a 20 minute phone call to cancel my subscription. It was coming up for renewal July 1st and I finally decided I could no longer justify it.
I only listen to wuwt and I no longer listen to the whole show on demand like I used to. I no longer look forward and get excited to listen. I am sure I will miss it a little, it does have some redeeming qualities but I can't put up with TAYLOR anymore.
Sirius sure tried to keep me though! To the point of being annoying. I finally had to be like 'look dude I've made up my mind and have stuff to do, so just cancel it please.'
Anyway, just wanted to share with my wake up friends.

Curious...what were they offering you to stay? I might have to call in a renegotiate my rate.

I cancelled a few months ago. I really missed it for a couple of weeks, but now I'm a podcast gal and don't miss it at all. Except when there are tidbits they talk about on the show that I see either on social media or a on this site and I don't get the full story. Although I could just get confused easily lol!
They were super clinging when I cancelled too - I bet people are just finding that free content just as good or better.

I paid about $55 for 6 months and that includes the app and Internet. I've been doing this for 5 years. I would put it in my calendar for when it was going to renew and then call a few days before and I would say I want the same price as before or I am canceling and I always got the rate. They offered me the same rate last night when I cancelled. They really don't want people to cancel!

I'm about ready to as well. If I can listen to what I want on Twitter...and fill in the juicy content with you guys, why bother? The app doesn't work half the time. (I probably should see what my hubby listens to before I pull the plug completely...lol. It would be just like him to say, "Ummm...what happened to 'x' that I listen to on my 45 minute COMMUTE each way EVERY DAY dear????" (and I don't leave the house...hee hee hee.)

You got a better deal than me. I pay 140 for all access for a year. I pre pay for the year I always call a few days before the renewal to "cancel". Next year I will have to do better negotiating because I was ok with $11 a month. I listed to Wake Up, but I listen to a lot of other shows. I work out of my car and at home 50% if the time and I don't let myself turn on the tv until after 6pm. I can justify this expense more than cable. I's struggling to cancel.
