I am happy for t2, Taylor sounded so happy and she deserves it.

The only thing is she hasn't actually said she's gay or a lesbian. Those words never came out of her mouth. She just says she is dating a woman. I understand her need to not label but everyone else is labeling her as gay. It's just weird that she is not? Does anyone understand what I'm saying?

Like does Taylor think there is a stigma by labelin herself as gay? Whether she likes it or not people will now put her in a bucket. People on this board are even labeling her but obviously Taylor will not even do this to herself.

Dunno she's probably still working it out right?

I think it's awesome she's not using a label. I don't say "Hi, I'm Jenn and I'm straight!" No one should have to do that. To take the stigma out it being a big deal, we have to realise and treat (not the right word, sorry!) it as normal.

As far as not calling TD her girlfriend, that may be an age thing. I'm
About the same age as T and wouldn't refer to BF as such, just "This is E." I think it's kinda silly past a certain point, like calling someone your best friend. Sounds juvenile.

I don't think people should  have to label themselves. I absolutely would never expect or want someone to introduce themselves to me as gay/straight/bi. You love who you love. I guess what I'm trying to understand is more the internal identification oneself would make in this situation. Again, not saying anyone needs to do that either. I'm just trying to understand how this works.

Taylor has always had boyfriends. She was married to a man. She herself said she was straight. She's now in a relationship with a girl.

I am NOT trying to judge or label her. I just think that her sharing this journey would be educational. And entertaining, obviously. Truly, this would make for good tv, so I'll be looking forward to that reality show.

First, I'm glad Taylor has found some happiness and love. I wonder if she is putting together the pieces of her life now. She has said for years she doesn't understand how women can like sex. I have always thought that was so incredibly sad. Sex with the right person is FANTASTIC. I never understood how with every relationship man she never enjoyed sex. Even in marriage.  The fact that her dad had a conversation with her about it was mortifying. I wonder if her parents are like, now we get it.
She said that at the sex intervention only Kenny knew. It makes more sense now why Kenny was so protective of her during it. I hope that finding love with help her with that hurdle.

Recently she said Brett wanted to get together and she didn't reply. I bet he had heard the news and wanted to talk to her. I do wonder what his Mom and sisters think about this. Their heads are probably exploding. It would be funny to hear what they have to say.

This little twist would only add to Radio in The City. Come on Andy, you know you wanna dig into this situation.

And, I think Taylor was really struggling for years and that was a part of what made her seem a little vapid with the recycled stories. She didn't know what was going on with herself so she had to stick to the surface and only speak on trivial stuff.

A day Kenny was off, her and Katie were talking about past relationships. Same day they were discussing if you should keep it get rid of old photos, delete off social media, etc. Taylor said Brett had texted wanting to grab a drink and Katie said someone along the lines of there being no point, you can't really move on still being in contact.

I thought on a recent Periscope she said they still are friends and text each other and meet up here and there.

It may be like a teenager in high school proclaiming love, then later on meet someone else and say what real love was. I think she probably loved Brett very much, she may not have been in love with him. I'm sure she's having a ton of feelings she's never had before.

I completely agree with this. Has happened to me. Sometime you think you know what love is, until you experience LOVE. Also she was saying she still loved Brett, not that she was still IN love.

You can love people. Being IN love is way different. My guess is that she beyond a shadow of a doubt loved B (and her past bf's) but she was never in love. The same way you love a friend or family member. Imagine the feelings she was expereincing--some of which were probably for the first time--while going through that divorce and the revelation that she is falling in love with a woman? Of course her voice was breaking when speaking about B. They spent what, 7 years together?

Very curious about "The Team":

Assuming TD and Matt are "The Team". Are they paid employees? Who pays them? Do you have contracts with them? Do you all work together everyday? Do you go to WeWorks together? Everyday? Who pays for WeWorks?

Matt is your manager, right? Does he have any other clients? How did you meet Matt?

Why does Matt drive you to work everyday? Is he in the studio everyday? What does he do during the show? Did he interact with Kenny during show?

Did Matt and TD know each other prior to your friendship/ relationship with her?

What types of suggestions to improve the show were included in Matt's PowerPoint presentation? Did he present this to just you and Kenny? Katie? Sirius execs? When did this presentation occur?

Do you consider yourself TD's boss? Do you hold her accountable to get the job done? Are you worried that if you breakup you would need someone else to be your photographer/videographer/blog assistant?

I'm still very curious as to how Matt could be with her every day in the studio for a year, yet the show is not only not better but many think it's worse.
I have a feeling that he doesn't get paid. What would she be paying him for?

They do so much prep for the show!!! I only realized a few weeks ago that Michelle writes out all the celebrity dirt stuff AND they go over it before the show!

I don't think Matt is a bad person at all like Sam Lufti, I just think he's a *very* privileged boy who hasn't led a "real" life, and has the connections, but not the experience or ability to groom and transform Taylor (and therefore Wake Up) into the celebrity she thinks she deserves to be. And he doesn't have to succeed the way regular people do, because he has a built-in golden parachute. Also, from what he's written about Taylor on this board, he does not yet possess the shrewd ability to read people, and see them for who they really are. That is one thing that is currently truly preventing him from getting Taylor further in her career.

Also, another question - how do the Sirius execs know whether or not WU has a lot of listeners? How do they base their ratings?
