OMG did anyone hear the Tara Reid interview on the Jenny McCarthy show today? It was the definition of bethos!!! First, Tara was over an hour late for it. The interview started out fine, but then Jenny asked Tara about the marriage therapy show she was on and Tara refused to answer questions about that. Then Jenny asked about Tara's plastic surgery and it went downhill from there quickly. Tara ended the interview early and Jenny said something like "good luck with your knobby knees" or something like that. It was crazy!!! I heard Taylor say that Tara was going to be on WU next week, so I thought that she was going to interview Tara after she was on Jenny's show and record it to air next week. I wonder if Taylor's interview with Tara still happened....

I love her show radio show,

Saying that (I only listened to the first 45 minutes) she was being nasty tonight. Not funny at all, just catty about everyone she was talking about. If this is the show that gets people listening to her, I don't see them coming back for another.

Her vaccine comments were dangerous and hurtful....and turns out her kid isn't even autistic..... I also have become less fond of her and Donny since he made it public he supports trump.....kinda hard to respect someone who does. lol

Maybe because I really like Jenny & her interviews, I thought she handled what Tara gave her really well. She kept trying to turn it around, and Tara was just being a bitch. What I would give to see video of Jenny & the BFFs during the interview 😂

You're probably right. I only heard a clip from it, not the whole interview.

Her son is absolutely autistic. Have you ever seen her reality show? I work with autistic kids and he is for sure on the spectrum.

I am not trying to battle over what people think of Jenny. I just want to put it out there that her argument was never that vaccines cause autism, it was that she didn't like all of the shots kids get so close together. She was arguing that the shots should be further apart. I'm not a medical doctor, and I have no children of my own. So - do with that what you will, But the media took her comments and ran with it.

Not commenting if her son is Autistic or not, that is not really not my point. My point is she is a model/actress/personality NOT a doctor. And what she said harms children who cannot get vaccines or are too young for them. I also thought she changed her story after the backlash of what she said? and there is not support for the spread of vaccines.

Evan has come a long way with a lot of therapy, but I don't think Jenny thinks that he's no longer autistic, just that he's now on the higher functioning end of the spectrum than he was when 1st diagnosed.

You've got to give her a little credit here. From the outside, it seems that she fought hard for her son and whether her information is correct or not (do we REALLY trust everything we're being fed by the "authorities"?), she was a present parent in a tough situation. Sounds like, despite her celebrity, she is into family and went through some tough times that she wanted to spare others. I'm sure a lot of it is PR but she seems genuine on her show. My take on the whole Tara Reid thing is, they have some bad blood in the past (or perceived bad blood) and they both came into it snarky and with guns drawn. It was so uncomfortable to listen to, both of them.

Link to an old article where she basically dodges and backtracks on autism and instead it's suggested her son suffers from a different syndrome that is often confused as autism...

She then backtracks from that when she received backlash.....

She has now shaped a platform to sell and profit off of a book and appearances and IMO whore out her sons condition for money.......

She then does interviews many many years later saying she wasn't demonizing vaccines.... As far as I'm concerned she used this as an opportunity to profit until it no longer was an angle she could use....so now it's a very quiet "oops. I meant it this way. Sorry y'all."

I just listened to the interview. Awkwaaaaard.
I listened to the end twice just to see why she was so against talking about anything other than Sharknado and Jenny was being so nice... I really dont know why she decided to throw in the I hope you stay married, wobbly knees comments, because before that, she was very classy.

I think anyone listening to a celebrity for medical advice is a moron. She shouldn't have said it, but assuming there wasn't the information about Autism there is now though, she was a freaked out Mom who happened to have a public platform.

I love Lainey....she had no qualms about letting you know if your guesses for her blind items were correct o not......

There was one where she had a BI and I guessed vin diesel....its been hard to look at him the same ever since.

I didn't listen to the whole show but I did listen to the clip posted. I think Tara was being a little b and Jenny is the kind of person that won't let you off easy. Was she poking the bear? Absolutely. Lighten up Tara. Have some fun!
I wonder if it had something to do with their egos too. Like, who's hotter.

I wish Taylor had listened to Jenny's interview before discussing it. I know she hates "research", but this is a co-worker, you need to be informed I think.

I don't get how she isn't so curious to hear it. The second that I heard about it, I was dying to hear it. That kind of interview is the reason live radio is so entertaining-you never know what might happen. Being in the business, I can't believe that she has no interest in listening to radio herself.

The irony is so is Jenny. She talks about her Catholic upbringing all the time. Interesting how it didn't screw her up sexually and every other way. Jenny is so much more real to me than Taylor. Not everyone's cup of tea, but doesn't make up a bunch of excuses for everything in her life.
