Goddess Getaway

TD posted a photo from the soho house. Can they bring all of the people that paid or are they secluding themselves?

I don't believe the getaway is until the weekend so I'm assuming they'll join the group wherever everyone is staying at that time. This week is their vacation.

Re: Goddess Getaway

Carin's latest instagram caption makes me really glad I'm not on the goddess getaway. "Light emanating from my womb"? Ugh

Re: Goddess Getaway

I wonder how much the nightly rate was for the hotel. i think the Versace mansion has pretty pricey rates.

Re: Goddess Getaway

I wanted to do it and asked about hotel rate.  It was going to be $199 per night.  It was not at the SOHO house.  I couldn't go because I would've paid $500 for flight, plus $400 for hotel and the $1,000 to participate.  For nearly $2,000, my husband I decided to do a vacation together to Mexico instead.

I can't believe we don't have a mole there!  We should have all taken up a collection and sent one of you ladies to report back!

I died when Taylor told the cohost today she had made life long friends and the cohost responded "You're never gonna talk to these people again!" 😂😂😂

Re: Goddess Getaway

I think Carin has a lot to offer but when she refers to our stress and anxiety responses coming from prehistoric times when "cavemen" were being chased by dinosaurs, I cringe then question if she even knows what she's talking about at all!  Dinosaurs and humans (or primates) did not coexist, they were millions of years apart from each other.  I think using BS examples really hurts Carin's credibility as a happiness scientist/guru.

I just thought of something...granted I haven't listened this week so she may have said something about the weekend by now, but maybe she hasn't because she is going to try and sell a video of it. *snark over

I think that makes her credibility very questionable. It makes her sound a little silly and uneducated (though I know she is) 🙄 Eye roll when we used to be chased by dinos.

Re: Goddess Getaway

I have barely listened this week (and not at all last week) but did I catch Taylor saying, and then changing what she was saying, to I think it was Jacqueline (hence, the reason I wasn't listening...not a Housewives fan) on Tuesday around the first 10 minute mark, "We had about 20, no 7, people there...."  ???

I started second-guessing whether she meant at the pool or the weekend or what...but she kept on with her story. And that's all I heard about it. The story was really about drinking at the pool at the Versace Mansion.

I might add here I am SO SICK of hearing repeated Taylor stories with every new host that I am composing (in my head) the tweet I plan to send to @siriusxm (or whatever the hell their twitter is) begging them to get a permanent co-host. Please put us out of our misery FAST or I'm done. Well, I think I'm done cause I don't believe it's happening soon but I'm giving my opinion anyway. Ugh.

Re: Goddess Getaway

From the Instagram photos, looks like lots of people there.

There is a bunch of bitching on the FB page about the repeated stories. It's too bad no one from the show seems to read the page.

Re: Goddess Getaway

I think the show has been good all week. I do wonder if they will bring in another co host.

Re: Goddess Getaway

I guess I'm in the minority, but I've been enjoying the show this week too(with the exception of the stupid games). Taylor is laughing so much, and seems to be having a lot of fun. I feel like Kenny wasn't giving her anything back-she finally has co-hosts who are engaged and want to be there. I loved The Almost Hitched Bitch segment with LuAnn. I hope they have her back for future segments like they suggested.
