This is pretty much what I was thinking too. I'm starting to think that when she says she'll update is when she "can", she means when she has something new lined up, not because she's under a gag order. I think she thought she'd get another gig fast and could put any announcement off until she had something else lines up so she could spin the fact that she got shit canned. I think she would have done better to come out right away and say something like "I'm sure you've all noticed by now that Wake Up isn't on air. All good things must come to an end and I have parted ways with Sirius. My team and I are working hard on my next venture and I'll let you know where to find me as soon as I can. For now, keep checking my IG/blog too see what I'm up to in the mean time!" (...and then actually post stuff.)

People would still speculate about what exactly happened, but she wouldn't be playing whatever this stupid "non-update update" game is. It just makes her look bad, IMO.

You would think that Taylor might understand the importance of showing up to Philly, but I still feel like it's up in the air. She does a lot of things that don't make a whole lot of rational, business sense, especially if for whatever reason she is afraid of talking.

Not harsh, it's just the truth really and totally on point... I think the "lifelong ego stroking" really hit the nail on the head! It's seriously so crazy...

When is the Philly show anyway? I am betting on her NOT showing and saying that she “couldn’t figure out how to do it.” I would 100% understand why she wouldn’t want to if she indeed got fired and was embarrassed...but she (and her “team”) should have put out that statement DB so eloquently wrote for them... 3 weeks ago. Then she wouldn’t look like a desperate celebrity wanna-be who is thinking she is A-list when she’s not. At this point, she just looks silly.

Those are my sentiments exactly!!! I was a huge fan for years and years until after the divorce it just all changed.

A thought I had this morning (because my sports nutrition class was super boring): Has anyone else noticed that everyone in Tay and Tay's life has private IG accounts (all siblings, TD's mom)... except for Babette? That kind of strikes me as weird; it's like she likes having a minuscule taste of fame through her daughter. Did she once aspire to be famous and that's where Taylor got her thirstiness from? What gives? I don't think my mom or anyone in my life would try and dip into whatever little success I might have for myself... 

I'm kind of similarly surprised at TD having an open account as well, but to as lesser extent. She could conceivably use any pictures/videos for her own business prospects, although recently they seem to be more of her daily life. 

Does this seem like a "thing" to anyone else, or am I maybe just weirdly private?

I know a lot of people whose accounts aren't private either, but when you know that you'll be linked on another account that gets a higher-than-normal number of views is just an interesting choice to me. I'm sorry, I don't mean this to be offensive in any way. 

I think its the fame thing.  Remember how she had a very brief segment on the show about raising kids? Like everything else, it ended.  Maybe Taylor gets her lack of follow through from Babbette. 

I don't think it's weird to have a public IG. The only reason mine is private is because I have a psycho ex. My Twitter is public, and that's only because I don't post about my life/upload photos.

So I still follow carin on Instagram because she’s super extra and sometimes it’s entertaining 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anywho, the other day she posted that SHE WAS ON SYBATICAL

Today...she’s away at some cabin because she needed to get away...maybe it’s not about the show getting cut or maybe it is...either way she’s ridiculous
