Something practical? Something crazy??
I asked for a new Sonicare, I wouldn't turn down a trip to Italy though!

A day at the spa cause I'm always so stressed out with no time for myself.

I'd really like my eyebrows microbladed and built-in bookcases for our dining room that I converted into a "lounge". However, since we're huge savers and don't like to spend a lot of money, I'll probably wind up with some nice, artisanal bath soaps or something. Lol

Ooh this lady I watch on YT just got her brows micro bladed, she said you look somewhat crazy for a week or so because they flake as they heal, but she said it's totally worth it!
We don't exchange gifts, truth be told if I want something I just buy it for myself, but I really really really wish I was getting a husky puppy!

What I really want is a Rumba- I'm so tired of constantly having to sweep our wood floors. But my husband has a thing about giving me cleaning type products because he thinks it's un-fun or demeaning to give me stuff like that for a gift. So he probably won't but I wouldn't be mad if he did, lol.

I'm indifferent, but my husband has been wanting a roomba for the last couple of years. So. I got him one on black Friday! He is going to be so pumped and surprised, as I had my mom order it. It won't fall down our stairs right?!

I got a Roomba a few years ago for Christmas......one of the best gifts!

I wanted to invest in one since we have 5 dogs (not crazy, but yeah) however doctor wider said she had one and it would get stuck in the corners So I didn't want to spend all that money for something to just do circles against my kitchen cabinets haha

Melanie from MrKongsMom - she's great! I think she has like 3 or so videos on the microblading process (initial thoughts, throughout the healing process, and I think another when she went for the touch up). She also had Cool Sculpting done this year and has several videos on that too if anyone is interested. She's one of my fave youtubers. 😉

I never heard of her and just looked her up. Her final results look incredible! Now I really want to get mine done.

I stand by my previous list.

While I love our roomba, its kinda like having a two year old around again. I can't let it just run when we're not around. It will get stuck on cords and under the dining room table.

Let us know if you do it! She used to be blonde, but transitioned to gray a year or two ago - I hope I can rock gray hair like that when the time comes!

Haha! Totally agree. I don’t have a brand name Roomba (mine’s called Eufy and I got it for under $200 on Amazon for anyone looking!), but I constantly have to chase her around so she doesn’t eat cords. Which really, I shouldn’t have cords on the floor. But the first time I was practically in tears running after her (clearly I do not have children).

Other than cord consumption, are roombas up to the hype?
Children leave cords alone after a good shock or two, so it’s no big deal

it does do a great job of vacuuming! Enough that I don't feel the need to pull out the big vac anyway.

My husband wants a shark? It’s like a roomba I think? But I’ll probably be getting his a scope for his gun. 🙄.
But I just got back from bachelorette party and I’ve never felt worse about myself....I think I need Botox. Has anyone got it? Roughly the price? How do you determine who to go to? I don’t want to look like TS, I just have little lines on my forehead, maybe it’s turning 30 soon, but I’m loosing it.

Please, no.
If your husband is not complaining or turning you down, he is happy with what he has. It is those little lines, and imperfections that make you beautiful, and who you are. Botox kills expression, and makes you appear robotic. That is no bueno.
All of you please read:
Grey hair, those little lines on your forehead, paunch bellies, hips, thighs, c-section scars, breast that fed your children, they are all the things that make you who you are. All these things are earned. Be it hard work, having children, and wisdom that comes with age. A real man sees these things as beauty, and that he is with a woman and not a little girl. Be proud of who you are.attitude goes a long way, and the definition of “beauty” fades. Besides, who determined the standard? And, why do we give them the power? Every single one of you is incredible. And if you ever doubt it, ask me. I will remind you.

That was so nice and what i needed to hear. The husband is not complaining, and up until this weekend, I’ve physically feel I look the best I ever have and I’m so happy with life and my work. It’s jist hard being around people who are different then you and your friends. It started making me think like I was the weird one?

You are the perfect representation of you. Use Taylor as an example of what NOT to do. I have never laid eyes on you, yet I bet that you are absolutely stunning. Go, find some time with your man, and let him remind you.

The holidays can be the worst. If 2017 has been bad, it is on its way up from here. Stay strong and remember what the holidays are really about.

First I agree with Karma 100%. So, only do something if you're doing it for yourself. I don't think anyone "needs" it and I don't judge people with wrinkles or whatever else.
So, to answer your question, I turned 30 this year and started getting Botox/fillers, but I don't go crazy and no one can even tell I've done it (my parents would FREAK if they knew, and even they can't tell). I don't try to change my face, just keep it looking the way it does. As far as finding a place, look at a bunch of Yelp reviews and ask around for recommendations. A good test too might be if they are willing to put filler in your tear troughs (under eye circles)- most reputable places won't do that anymore because the risk of damaging your eye is too high.
If you want to maintain the Botox, you have to go every 3-4 months ( you don't have to, it wears off around 3 months so you'll be able to move your face again and "create wrinkles", but even if you only did it 6 months a year it's better than nothing). Since we're about the same age I'll assume our lines are about the same, and I get 20 units each time at ~$11/unit.
I got fillers in my cheeks too because I felt like they'd thinned out some, and the nurse who does my injections said starting around 25 you do start to lose that volume. One syringe of filler is ~$650 and lasts a year or a little longer. For forehead lines, they usually treat those with filler instead of Botox. Botox is more for right at your brows/crows feet/11 lines.
You didn't ask about this but I thought it was pretty neat- I got Kybella in my chin. It's basically a chemical that dissolves fat. I've always had a soft chin and it helped a lot. I'm going one more round at the end of the month.
ETA- I also do not go on bachelorette parties anymore. Didn't even go on my sister's this year. They're ridiculous, and my favorite part of getting older is feeling 100% ok with not doing shit I don't want to do.

Lol. I guess I look at small cosmetic tweaks like this as just the difference between me wearing a pound of makeup to make it look like I have a jawline, vs just zapping it once to achieve the same thing.
