I know exactly what you mean.  I literally hated LV before Durst & FKF opened my eyes to these back-room Ali groups.  I mean, haaaaated.  Thought LV was pretentious. And ugly.   Now, I can't get enough.  WTF happened? I have completely lost my mind.  

​I've reigned myself in on the sneakers, b/c you can buy the authentic ones for not much more than the fakes. 

​Oh, and BTW - the "magic cream" IS magical.  My 5 yr old gets a skin rash every single March without fail from something blooming.  We've been to multiple doctors and they have no idea, but just throw some script for steroid cream at him, which I hate using.  Anyway, I slapped some of that magic cream on him, and his rash disappeared within the same day.  Craaaaaaaazy. 

Long time lurker here... I started reading about Ali and immediately had my husband join one of the FB groups since I don't have an account any more. Tonight I finally bit the bullet and had him order an LV for me. My SIL has the same bag but real and I can't wait to compare them when mine comes in! Thanks for all the great info!

I'm just curious if you'll tell the SIL you got yours on Ali or you'll be secretly comparing the two? I really want one, but everyone will know it's fake. I live in smallest town, USA and people can hardly believe we just bought a brand new pickup, they'll talk so much about me if I walk around with an LV. 

 
I will tell my SIL only because I want to do a full deep dive. The one I chose will be very tough to tell if it's fake so let people guess. My husband and I are in a similar situation. We lease my husband's truck so he gets a brand new vehicle.... gets old explaining to people how we do it.

I might just get one so they do talk about me and guess. lol We both work from home and our companies are in locations that have a much higher cost of living/salary base compared to where actually live. So while we don't make bukoos and bukoos of dollars, we are sitting pretty darn good for what is costs to live here. It's hard to explain that to hose who question it, but it's also none of their business. But in a small town, everything is everyone's business! ;)

I got my first purchase in the mail yesterday! It was one of the sports bras that DB recommended. I promptly wore it to the gym, so no pics until it’s washed. 😂😂 It’s every bit as comfy as she said!
