Nah, it's not bad- I just have a few newbie parents this year making it more complicated. I won't lie, it's stressful and it's a lot of accounting keeping all the money and inventory straight for each girl (you'd be shocked how many parents can't count correctly ) but it's not rocket science, lol. You will learn to loathe looking at box after box of cookies, though... 
 

 
I am proud of all of you! I think it’s kind of a rite of passage for those who have girls who want to be a Girl Scout. I totally remember my mom doing it (I was a GS until I graduated HS and because of a trip I took with them, chose the college I attended. So they literally shaped my life!). Our living room was filled with cookies from floor to ceiling. My own daughter never had an interest (we tried it once)...was more of a tomboy and ended up in every sport instead! My daughter is a tomboy too and was so mad when I signed her up but she loves all her fellow brownies and wouldn't miss a meeting or activity for anything. I was a GS for 3 years and ended up with a really terrible troop my last year and I dropped it. That's awesome you stayed for so long!

My GS troop was so successful at selling cookies we went on a 3 week trip to Disney with our profits!! 💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️

Aww, you're sweet.  So did you earn your Ambassador rank then? It's very impressive you stayed in the whole way! I was a Brownie for one year and hated it, lmao. But my daughter really likes it, she started as a Brownie and her troop just bridged to Juniors this fall. I told her she can do it as long as she wants, and I'll lead the troop until she decides she is done- don't know if she will stay in to Ambassador but I will hang with her and sell these damn cookies as much as I have to get her there, if it's what she wants! 
 

I don't remember it being called anything special, except that you got to 'specialize' in the type of troop you were in. I chose to become a 'Mariner' and we did all things related to water (obviously!) even though we were landlocked in MO. Our camping trips were centered around rivers (float trips) and the first summer of high school we did a two week trip to the Boundary Waters in MN. The next two summers we did white water rafting down the Green River in Utah. That was the first time I'd ever been to Colorado (we landed in Denver and drove to Utah) and when I decided to return there to go to school. I never even visited the U. of Colorado...I just applied, got accepted and the first day I moved into my dorm was the first time I ever saw Boulder, CO! 

We also did these competitions against other Mariner troops in the summer where we stayed at a camp about an hour or so outside of St. Louis. We competed in canoeing, knot tying, Morse code, swimming and all things water-related!

Wow, that's cool! Come to think of it, Ambassador is a fairly new rank, I believe. It is the Girl Scout version of Eagle Scout and has the same honors and benefits.

WOW!!! How big is your troop? That's impressive. I've only got 10 girls in my troop, and some of them aren't exactly "go getters" lmao. I doubt we are in any danger of earning a trip to Disney! 
 

 
Not exactly sure the numbers. But it was only 3 suv/jeeps that drove? And I big rent and a smaller tent. Maybe 15 girls? This was in the 90s. So probably not possible now.

Right? I was listening thinking bitch please...she has NEVER done that in her life, I guarantee 1000%. Taylor is way too self-absorbed to think about what they sacrifice for her. If she said she threw a tantrum because she got bumped so a service member could catch a flight, I would believe it lol

Her social media really baffles me. I have a super small side business I do and social media CAN be somewhat cumbersome if you have to take product pictures, edit them, overlay some text on the pictures, etc. But come on, it takes like 5 seconds to snap a picture from the studio, like when Stassi and Katie were in, or do a quick video. Drum up some interest in your show, for the love of god. I do like her show and I subscribe, but her lack of semi-decent social media is just completely bizarre to me.   
 

I agree with all of this, especially when Taylor admits she was in her apartment watching movies all weekend.  Nothing wrong with that, but it certainly means your schedule isn't too busy to post something. 

I only listened to the military spouse interview today and was really annoyed that Taylor pretty much talked over them the whole time and told stripper stories.

More workplace beef.

To make a long story short, I’m an accountant and I do a fairly niche kind of accounting. There’s a textbook that the Mortgage Banker’s Association put out a number of years ago that is very helpful to people in the industry. Our department had one book that everyone kind of shares because the book is out of print and hard to find. I wanted my own copy, so I found one on eBay and bought it with my own money. Anyway, this girl started in my department about 6 months ago. Trying to be nice, I showed her the book, told her the dept has one but thus is *my* copy and she’s welcome to use it whenever she likes. Well, she’s had it on her desk for the entirety of the last 6 months, and it’s been driving me crazy. It’s not tucked away where she just forgot about it, it’s literally been sitting 5” from her keyboard. I even wrote my name on the inside so it didn’t get mixed up with he other copy! At first I figured she’d give it back soon, but 2 weeks turned into 4, and here we are...I probably should have just asked for it at some point, but she’s out today so I just snatched it.
