Hey T. Why not have an event in NYC. Any money you walk away with is yours. Do a bar crawl. Part of the cost will cover the first drink at each bar and picky things. She won't do that. Because she really rather not hang out with any of you.

that's one thing i will say about the adderall and compliments girl. I thought it was awesome that when she went to NYC she had a spontaneous event at a bar for her listeners and genuinely seemed like she was excited about it. I think she's done that a couple of times.

Do not feel bad. This whole thing was not thought out AT ALL. Who is managing her again? Who is telling her this is a good idea? It doesn't look good professionally or personally. Geesus didn't even TD have anything to say about this?

There is so much about this that is shady. The lame website. The emailing for info. The non-automatic response back. The thrown together PDF. The send your CC over email. The "oh just hold your flight and we'll let you know if this happens" crap. (so if they have 10 people and for some reason something happens and they cancel will you still get a refund?). There is no final date as to when people will know if it was cancelled or happening. The PRICE. The outrageous nature of it all!!! The GAUL of Taylor.

This is too much. She should feel bad. This has nothing to do with her fans. This is purely selfish and she wants free stuff and money.

Here's a tip Taylor. Work harder. Hustle harder. Instead of trying to rip off your fans.

I love Annabelle! I think she's the perfect example of someone who truly appreciates her listeners/fans. I agree with idontcarethatmuch above who says Taylor just doesn't want to hang out with anyone. It sucks Taylor had a rough day yesterday, but she needed to be told that this whole thing is just kind of messy. I listened to most of today's show and didn't hear her mention the trip once.

Aww, don't feel bad, girl- no one crucified her, you were just honest that you felt like we were all getting played. Because we really are getting taken advantage of, I believe. If she had picked ANYWHERE but Turks and Caicos I probably wouldn't have thought anything about it. But we all know she has been wanting to travel there for quite some time and now she found a way to get there- at the expense of her fans. She has a right to plan that trip anywhere she wants to, but you also have a right to feel used. She didn't need listeners to pay thousands of dollars to hang out with her back when her and Kenny used to go do shows, so why now?

So without looking to far (used Expedia) I can fly in Wednesday, leave Monday for $1500US hotel/flight/breakfast.

I did a quick look up too, just for giggles (I don’t like Taylor enough even pay to do the Meet & Greet) and I was remarkably surprised at how cheap the flights were from the middle the US. However, you have the willing to travel over 11 hours each way, leaving at 1 am and coming home at a similar hour.

All told, once I guessed on the additional taxes and fees (based on experience through many trips to the Bahamas), I’m guessing I’d hypothetically need to add an additional $1200 on to the base price of $1400 for the 48 hours of time in T & C (approximately 16 of which would be sleeping).

Now we have to remember T1 can go either way...she loves to get drunk so she could possibly be wasted most of that time AND she’s always complaining that she needs to sleep. So there’s a very real chance that night 1 she gets so drunk that she won’t go on the boat ride because she’s “too sick”...

I’m in the “ You’re a sucker if you pay to do this” camp for sure!!!

If they are using square they can simply send invoices through it. Taylor recently said she was in therapy again. It made me wonder if things are starting to get shaky with TD... Hopefully she'll put some work into getting over the old in-laws. I can be hard on Taylor but I think it's because I know she has so much potential! I used to love the show and it's just so stagnant now.

I thought she said she and TD are going to Berkshires with Micah Jessie, his fiancé and also Andi Dorfman (someone from Bachelorette?!). She didn't mention that this was a work trip. After hearing about therapy visits, I too was wondering if the honeymoon is over with TD. I know Tay has been talking about the pressure of being the breadwinner for months. Maybe TD is now on her to get engaged/married and have a baby. I cannot see Taylor as a parent. Correction, I cannot see Taylor as a patient, selfless parent. I would foresee even more drama if TD carries baby and not Tay (jealously, etc).

Taylor should be fucking ASHAMED of herself for promoting the Hey Girl Hey Getaway. It's like it was thrown together by someone who doesn't give a shit and has no fucking clue. It screams desperation. Taylor, hhhoney, if you can't afford to take your girlfriend to Turks and Caicos on your own dime, don't go. If this was Matt's idea, you need to reevaluate his influence on your career.

Okay so I really liked today's show. Carly reminds me of Kenny sometimes. I know its a stretch but really sometimes her comedy does remind me of the good days with Kenny. Gawd I miss him. I wish they would get another funny guy on. Maybe a straight guy, just because I miss that perspective. But Kenny really was one of a kind. I'm starting to like Clay more but sometimes he's just too serious and after this past Tuesday who knows what is going to happen with that.

I too have been wondering about how things are going with TD. I wonder if her promotion is going to bother Taylor. I love TD, I think she's really down to earth and honestly probably didn't have much to do with the trip. Speaking of, I'd be curious to know how many people actually signed up. Honestly the wake up with taylor live thing isn't a bad idea!! They should start with the first show in PA (which btw they haven't really been promoting this week) and go from there. Why need a trip to T&C?!? Again, i can answer my own question lol.

It really is terrible. Props to her if she can convince 10 fans to pay for a trip for her, but the delivery is awful, it looks like an elementary school marketing project. From the Wix site (nothing wrong with Wix, some people have made great sites with them!) to the shoddy PDF garage sale flyer to the IG photoshop, its all just awful.

I feel terrible for TD if its over. She seems super sweet, such a waste of time

How long will the Sirius higher ups put up with her taking time off for being tired from her side hustle? She called in sick a couple Thursdays with Getting Younger. Now she takes Monday because she is going to the Berkshires. You know she won't work the day after the comedy show. Most people can't slack on their main job when their part time jobs make them tired.

She said something today that made my skin crawl. Something to the effect of Shes gotta treat her girl good sometimes or something like that. (To celebrate her job) Insinuating to the point that I think she thinks shes now B in this relationship.... weird. I'm pretty sure TD wasn't on the streets starving when she met T.

I've said it before, but it makes me cringe that she always talks about being the breadwinner. TD works and earns her own money, even if it isn't quite as much as Taylor. It's awesome TD got a full time position with what seems like a really cool company. I know Taylor has said that she's TD's first real relationship... Maybe the honeymoon phase is ending? The therapy thing just made me wonder since Taylor said she was in a lot of therapy before her divorce. I don't wish a breakup on anyone, but Taylor should realize how disrespectful it is to constantly bring up her ex in a public forum.

And I also want to add that I adore Carly! She's so quick and witty. I always laugh out loud when she's on... Today it was over her pillow and the conversation about the cheesecake factory breakup.

I agree!! I noticed that too about taking her girl out to a nice restaurant. She said it fast but said it a couple times during today's show. She is taking on that role and constantly mentions how she's considered the breadwinner. Maybe she brings home more money but there's more to being a good partner than that. Also, I cringe every day when she mentions her ex and ex in laws. Actually I think today was THE FIRST day in a long time that her ex life DID NOT come up at all!!! It was amazing and I think that's why I enjoyed the show so much. She let Carly talk and tell some stories and it brought some freshness to the show. It is so disrespectful to TD when she constantly brings up her past life. Wait, I lied she did say once today how "she used to be a rich person" I HATE this too. It can't make TD feel good about it. Eventually she might start to feel less than. I love them together especially if they're both happy so I hope it lasts!

They did one thing right on the show. It made me start listening again because I love Emma, Carly,
Clay and Rob. Often I find myself yelling at the radio for her to shut up. Because I really enjoy these cohosts more than I've enjoyed her. And they make me laugh like Kenny used to.

I was just casually mentioning this to my husband last night because he has listened to Taylor before. I didn't even tell him my opinion I just laid out the basics, the cost, the location, the emailing your CC info....he immediately said "Um is she getting slammed for this? Because that is just dumb. T&C got hit by the storms bad....has anyone not heard of the Equifax leaks? Who would send their CC over email? And $1400 for what exactly again?"

He doesn't even listen to her and he thought it was dumb.
