Can anyone remember if last Friday's show (11/13) was a replay? The one available on the XM app, On Demand, is a "best of" but I thought they were live that day. I'm behind and now I'm getting confused.
I'm having the same issue. I didn't say anything because I thought I was the only one confused. LOL
Me too! I hated listening to a Best of!

But I know it was live because I heard part of the FKF segment while in the car for a few minutes. But I had just told myself that was a replay, too but then saw on twitter or Facebook that it was live. So basically the on demand has up the wrong show.

It was definitely live on Friday. They did the Bantam Bagels thing and then also tried to guess the actor with HIV.

Friday was live. I'm just starting to listen to todays show. I'm interested to hear how Taylor will discuss the Charlie Sheen story and if she manages to get the facts straight. I watched the entire interview on the Today Show and he appeared to be very honest and open. Very sad.

Just starting today's show. Can't wait to hear Kenny's thoughts on Dr. Jake bahahaha #MrMansRadioEmergency

breaking news!!! it is apparently Charlie Sheen who has HIV. he may be announcing it tomorrow!
I saw that too. So very sad, but at the same time, if the article Taylor read is true, so very irresponsible.
it seems to put into some perspective some of his erractic off the cuff behavior and temper tantrums. i heard he was paying hush money (extortion). he should feel relief. anyone want to weigh in on how this might affect him, his acting roles, his personal life, etc. i hope he embraces support and ground himself iin his kids. i wonder if he;s bipolar, a common symptom being hypersexuality

I read a short article yesturday that said he was being blackmailed by women, and that coming out would stop that. If true, I can't imagine the stress he was under. Hopefully coming out will be a weight off his shoulders and he can start to get back on track with his life.

I love the Million Dollar Listing guys accents. but i don't love how they used the word penetrated. lol

i agree and hope the same because i don't know how many downward spirals he has in him. it was good to see his dad supporting him

That "doctor" the second hour today was weird, is she the QVC lady?? I'm still listening so maybe it will turn around...

fredrik's brother's voice sounds like kenny's fat kid voice.

I think it's commendable that someone like the QVC lady, who has a little bit of celebrity, would choose to be the face of something that apparently effects a great number of women, many of whom are probably embarrassed to talk about it. Her story was heartbreaking-I teared up when she talked about being searched at the airport. How awful

I used to like FKF. But now I can't stand it. I do not want to hear people eating on the RADIO. If they periscoped it or just posted a quick video on Facebook/twitter/instagram it would be a little better. The lip smacking is disgusting. Sorry, not in a very Friday - Friday mood.

OMG yes!!!!!! Heart wrenching! I'm glad she found help and I find her so brave to be a voice and face of what sounds to be a horrible condition. I hope she was able to reach out to anyone on air today affected (effected?? I never know which to use) by that!
Bravo to Tay, Kenny and Katie for having them on!!! I like when they mix in a little serious but important women's topics into the show.

I hate it. It's to the point where I can pretty much predict what Taylor is going to say, too. "Mmmmmm! Wow! This is f*cking amazing! Seriously!" Cool, great description . I agree, if they periscoped it, or just made it a social media thing, it would make more sense.

It's more fun, and more true to its origins, when they hear about something new and gross and try it, or talk about stuff they used to eat when they were kids and they eat that. The freebie stuff just sounds like a commercial.

I agree that FKF was more fun when they ate random gross food. Now it feels like an advertisement for restaurant owners. And the chewing noises are disgusting.

Also, I just heard the ***** Jobs segment. Does anyone else think that Taylor was talking about Megan at cosmo radio when she said some girl who did random segments kept trying to get more air time?

I don't think it was Megan, because Tay was referring to someone who worked at the magazine, right? Megan was an actual Sirius employee I believe. Chicken probably knows more about that...?

That was the real scoop on what went down w/ V, no? That's exactly where my head went. She even referenced the 1-hr fashion interview (I.e. Giuliana Rancic), trying to do her own thing (remember V had that weekly show for a hot minute), etc

No, it was someone from the magazine. I can't remember her name, but there was someone who came on semi regularly for either makeup or fashion, and over time, I could sense that Taylor had some sort of beef with her. By the end of her appearances on the show Taylor could barely hide her disdain, and then she stopped coming in. Does anyone else remember this???

You're right. Megan was Sirius and just did little vignettes for a bit. She wasn't ever really on Wake Up as a guest. It was a Cosmo mag employee she's talking about.

Nailed it. I should have read the rest of the thread before I responded to OnPoint.

Does anyone remember the Cosmo editor that came on Patrick's show and and did a regular spot for a while? I believe something happened and they had a falling out and she stopped coming on.She's not at Cosmo anymore. I enjoyed the interviews he and Sean did with the editors. I do recall Taylor not being big on them. I remember once she made fun of how they talked.

With good reason-I could not handle the valley girl inflection and vocal frye

The last summer they had Friday at the Hearst offices I loved those shows and the only reason I know who the editors are. Leah Wyar and Angela Legerwood were on often and were hilarious, I probably butchered the last names. Angela would talk about her dating life and on line dates and Leah would always fall into social situations because of the magazine that were fancy.
I canceled my Cosmo magazine last year. It's odd that sometimes I read it because of the little snippets discussed on the station all day.

I really liked those Friday shows. I follow Leah and Angela on twitter. I tweeted Leah once and asked her a question and she tweeted me right back. I really liked them.
