OMG...that was the definition of bethos!! I was screaming at my radio, "you don't have to say he ejacualated on her stomach...he understands what your getting at!!!" I died. He died. He actually tried to get her to NOT spell it out for him...lol. I can't...

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Is she trying to channel howard stern when she talks like this? I don't find it funny in any way, in fact I find it cringe worthy. It makes her sound like a crude idiot. Why can't she just conduct a normal funny interview? She doesn't have to say stuff like that to have a good interview or be well liked.

It's the worst.  Kenny tried to stop her, but of course, she didn't listen.

Yes, the interview with James Lee Taylor - talk about BETHOS!  She has diarrhea of the mouth.

Along the same lines.... I found it obnoxious on yesterday's show when Taylor kept saying that in her old life she was such a GENEROUS gift giver, but now she isn't because she's on a budget.  Seems like it was pretty easy to be generous when it was B's money.  A little tougher when it's your own.  I just felt like "generous" was not the right word there.  And, yeah- she's not cut out for volunteering.

I think generous is exactly the right word.  even if the gifts weren't actually purchased with B's $, it could have simply been easier because it was a 2-income household (tho granted, B brought a lot to the table). like a 2-car household is easier when one car is in the shop.  maybe she simply could spend her entire paycheck while he fotted for everything else.  potatoes, potatta's, either way her former life was more pampered.

I concur!  I think I'm done listening for a while.   She is so misinformed about eveyrthing!  How could you defend this sick person who duct taped a dog's mouth shut!  It's beyond cruel - I cant even imagine how painful pulling the tape off of it's muzzle would be.  She lacks emapthy - which is ironic since she complained about B not having any.  If you all recall, she also defended Bill Cosby for a long, long time until she finally started believing the hundreds of victims.  I feel like I lose IQ points everytime she opens her mouth!!!!

Amen weddingbitch. Anyone who thinks harming an innocent animal isn't a big deal clearly has problems. Taylor has always talked shit whenever animal cruelty stories are in the news. She's fucking crazy.

She had none of the facts straight on the VA killer either!! She basically assumed because he was gay and black he was bullied out of a job. When in fact he had a long history or a downward spiral. Ugh!!? You bringing up that story makes me mad again.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I like how Kenny acknowledged how "everything has changed for him."  with regard to getting things done (e.g., Christmas shopping.)  K: "everything's different"    Tay:  "why?"    K: "I guess because I have a ba....  everything has changed.  My whole life has changed Taylor."  Tay:  "Yes, I know. Well, I guess we all have changed."  Ken:  "I used to be able to do stuff and get stuff and buy stuff for women....   Tay: "Are you just all baby brain?"  Ken:   "I'm mush brain..."  [then some binky talk that was cute].  In the end she agreed to help him.  Then the subject changed to age-related fashion talk.  all this within the first half hour. at first I thought it sounded a little scripted but I hope it wasn't  and I am proud of Kenny for just saying what is obvious and true:  everyone changes and his life is so different now.

Yep it was in the first 7 things. Thanks, gals! Definitely missed it the first time I listened. not much more to comment, but she assumes a lot when she talks.... she needs to work on that.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Listening to yesterday's show- let's see if Taylor can get through a single show without referencing "people I used to be related to" and how awful they are. She even mentions it to Kyle Richards. It would make an awesome drinking game bc I would be wasted a work.

I'm listening to it now.  I lived thru dc sniper here in DC and I can't tell u the horror. I don't remember being on lock down because the sniper kept moving around from northern Virginia, Richmond, VA, DC, PG County, Montgomery County.  we were told to avoid tree lines.  I never realized how many tree lines there were until we were advised to avoid them.  then they were looking for a white panel truck so of course, you felt like you drove past 30 of them everyday. the craziest thing was the # of people who would run zig zag to and from stores and gas stations to make it more difficult for someone to aim.  wow, I feel ptsd coming on just writing about it.   I'm leaving work now so will continue today's show during my commute. but I think tay and ken did good job talking about it.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I really enjoyed the gun/shooting topic today too (<-- well that didn't come out right 😳) even though we own a gun, I hate it! But it was interesting hearing everyone else's thoughts. I love it when they take calls, I think it brings out the best in both of them and creates a more interesting dialogue. Great show today 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It was terrifying! I was a sophomore  at University of Maryland in College Park at the time. I remember I went on a road trip with some of my friends to Deep Creek Lake and we didn't get gas before we left. We waited until we were in Frederick to stop, because we thought it was safer there. They ended up catching the Snipers the next day in Frederick. It was a horrible feeling to be on edge all the time.

420, I couldn't agree with you more. T and K have been broadening the breadth of their topics. by doing so they are going to reel in even more listeners and callers of all demographics. and i think Tay and Ken are professional and gracious and today's show is a perfect example.  not so newsy.  i get enuf of that on cnn and MSNBC.but they were able to slice off a piece of the tragedy and keep it focused: to have a gun or not. i think what draws me to Tay is she will inevitably self-share something that will resonate with me.  my dad had a gun in the house and i was so scared of it, i thought if i looked at it hard enough, even if it was lying in its red velour case that somehow it could shoot me. her self-sharing always manages make me time travel and think of something i hadn't thought of for years.  i do think in her next relationship i hope she will be less sharing so she can love and be loved (and hopefully welcome a penis) more privately.

Today's show was great! I'm glad they addressed the shooting....it was like they went ahead and talked about the elephant in the room. It made the rest of the show flow better. I may not agree with either of T or K all of the time but I do like hearing their opinions.

Also after listening to them talk about The Affair I must see it now!

I watched 5 episodes last night!
As soon as I got home from work, I turned it on. But like they said, it is slow at times, so I started cleaning during it, so I think I might have missed things. Then, my boyfriend got home from work and got sucked in too. It was on during dinner and everything. hahaha.
We both liked seeing their different point of views. I'm excited to see where it goes!
