Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Did you guys know her parents were virgins when they got married?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

She doesn't know her age because she is a one sided friend. She has admitted that. She is very self-absorbed.  She blames the demise of her marriage on outsiders. She really needs some introspection but had not yet matured enough to do so. She really is an 18 year old in a 30-something's body.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I'd hope she would put the settlement money to good use ie something to advance her career if she's going to use it at all vs a wedding that she probably can't afford to cover her plate for without using the settlement money. Unfortunately saying no when you can't afford something is part of being an adult.  you can't say yes to everything something has to give or else she'll go through whatever she did get so fast.

First of all...there's so much to add!!! I had to look up Andi and of course, she's fabulous. I'm sure she's part of the draw for Taylor. I googled her and at the very least she had pics with Keri Russell (from The Americans and Felicity), Kim Kardashian (T's favorite!), and a few more stars who of course, I can't remember now that I have to!!! There was also this pic if I can figure out how to add it:
(I couldn't...how do you add a photo that you saved on your phone??)

Secondly, when you'd mentioned doing things she can't afford...plus complaining about it...does anyone remember the conversation she had with Kenny about not being able to afford fabulous wedding gifts? And wondering if she could just 'remind' one of the couples that she gave them a set of two things (I believe they were paintings or pictures of some kind) for a gift when they got engaged and it was back when she was still married and could afford great gifts??? That way she wouldn't have to give a 'new' present. I was taking a drink when she said that and it came out my nose. I'm not sure if she was serious or not (sure sounded like it) but I really hope not!!!!!

I know it again sounds like pick on Taylor day but here is what grown ups do: they politely decline the invitation, no matter how badly they want to mingle with movie stars, billionaires and influential New Yorkers. Then you spend a teeny bit more (not a lot) on the gift in direct correlation to how good of a friend you are to that person (length of friendship, etc). Then you talk on the radio about how, no matter how badly you wanted to attend this fabulous wedding, you just couldn't do it because of the change in life and circumstances you have undergone.

OR--- attend the damn wedding and quit harping on having no money and how much it costs to do it all when you are so very poor now.

Ding, ding, ding! I get so annoyed when she has to "defend" getting divorced by saying "it was outside forces, the issue wasn't us." Bullshit. Sure, outside forces can effect you but if you really want to stay married, you can. Just take some freaking responsibility.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I kind of agree with you, it annoyed me to hear it was other people that broke up her marriage but perhaps they were just two different people and BE probably chose his family over taylor. Which in my mind would mean it was partially his fault. But I couldn't imagine being In a family who hated me and everything I did. He prob never stood up for her.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Ok I am listening to the 2nd hour now and it's better than the first. There is a conversation happening which is interesting/entertaining to listen to.

I do like how Stefanie calls Taylor out. When Taylor states how jealous she is of kids starting college, Stefanie says "Really?!"  Love it!!! Most early mid 30 year olds are not desperate to go back to being 18-22 years old like Taylor is. It's actually a bit sad that she longs for 10 years ago so much!

And yes, Taylor, we know your parents were virgins and Kenny wants to lick Justin Beiber.  LOL!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Listening today, I just wish that T knew one thing. Your career isnt on a schedule. Success isnt on a schedule.  You dont work at a bank and punch in and out. Maybe you dont get to play all weekend maybe you have to do some work instead. I feel like she has that mentality that she doesnt have to work after she leaves the Sirius Bldg. If its hard she doesnt want to do it. You have to make some sacrifices. Please. I'm dying here, waiting for you to knock it out of the park but you sound like a lazy snot.  More work less play and if you dont enjoy doing it or just dont have the passion for it, well maybe the entertainment business isnt for you.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Loved that Stefanie pushed back on some of Taylors comments (Kenny doesn't always do that)! Like when Tay made a comment about how difficult the video blogs are to create and Stefanie shut that down with "No they aren't I do it with my iPhone!"

The debate & conversation today was great - wish we could get more of it (real debate, not back & forth for 3 minutes and move on to the next topic)! Loved the show today!

Yes!!! She made a comment about people not understanding all the vacation time. She needs to take it and start enjoying life again and making up for years of (missed, unenjoyed, something like that) vacations.

That's fine, if thats what you want to do. Would it be amazing to come out of this as a killer business woman though?? Show all the doubters, the ones that thought you were with B for money how amazing you are and that you can not only do it on your own, but do it amazingly well???

There isn't really an equivelant to Howard for women. Lots of up & coming men, but the female talent is a really shallow pool. She has this incredibly amazing chance to be on top of the world, and she's going to nap it away. Someone like Nicole, or maybe Jenny McCarthy are going to take the crown.

The thing is the blog etc she can incorporate into her fun time unlike in many careers that's why I don't get why she doesn't do it

But at this point I've given up on her and quite honestly if she did blow up more it would be yet another thing she didn't work that hard for coming to her which is annoying. Her job is awesome. Maybe she should just start focusing on that and stop trying for a reality show or complaining she needs more outside of the show income without doing anything, live off her paycheck until she gets married again. Idk the answer but she and her listeners are stuck in this rut together. Shit on the pot or get off.  Well not off but be happy with where you then...

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

What was up with Stefanie saying she thought about Tay when the topic of blackmail was brought up? Did anyone else catch that? And what was she referring to, I feel like I missed something. (Was in the first hour.)

A few shows back, Taylor had a conversation with Stefanie about Letterman being blackmailed, and that she didn't understand why it was illegal. Which was actually the same conversation her and Kenny once had, so I'm not sure why she felt the need to bring it up again.

Thanks! Thought it had something to do with B's family and I was confused.

Had briefly today. Stop! I'm not a prude  but talk about trump like u said u would instead of resorting to stern like idiocy and vulgarity. I might be in the minority here but c'mon, focus taylor!

And sopranos was ages ago so another wtf. Talk about something relevant.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Yeah I agree she sexualizes herself around certain men, inc those she interviews, in ways that aren't typical of an adult female. I remember her going on about her nipples and not wearing a bra and how great her breasts are but it was at least 20 minutes long to Kenny no less

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

She fishes for compliments any time there's a man in the studio.  It would be a lot better if Sam would go ahead and say she's attractive, so they could get on with real topics.

Did you all hear him ask about doing the 7 things this am?  It was after 7:00 & T was still rambling on about other things.  He mentioned doing the 7 things, because he didn't want to mess up the format of the show.  Surely he doesn't still think there's actually a format...

she hypes up having SO much to talk about and lists the subjects but never really gets around to talking about any of them. Yesterday's show was a good example of that. Instead she goes on about herself or retells old stories. Some of the subjects I look forward to hearing but it never happens.

What did she say about dogs today? I haven't listened yet but a couple of people posted comments on Facebook saying they were not going to listen again because of whatever she said.

Taylor basically said it was okay for someone to shoot a dog that ate their families ducks.. I guess the woman made her kids each shoot the dog. Taylor said the dog should've been punished - but she backtracked after Sam basically called her crazy.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

So what I learned from today's show - not that I didn't know this already... Taylor doesn't give a shit about animals. Taylor will be focusing on her weight because fashion week is coming up and she has sidled her way into Stassi's life and will be hanging with the super skinny rich and famous and feeling short and fat. If you missed today's show, I think I summed it up well.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I was really bothered by the first half hour this morning. Taylor spouting off abou the dog/duck story and then the VA shooting just really made me not like her today. Sigh...and I really love the show! Come back, Kenny, and reign her back in!

who do you think T was talking about today when she said she had a "peer but not a friend" who sent her the mean email at work? Probably Steph right?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The dog/duck story is the final straw for me. I officially loathe her. I was on the love/hate fence for awhile, but she is genuinely a pathetic excuse for a human being. A lazy, entitled, insecure yet narcissistic, vapid, ignorant, unintelligent jerk.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

^^^BOOM. I would like to add, pulling from today's banter about not being taken seriously because she's a woman and doesn't stand up for herself.. News flash Taylor: people don't take you seriously because you say completely ignorant things with incredible conviction, none of your opinions are based on any sort of fact or research, and you are unbelievably lazy. You expect the best things in life with little to no effort, and that will not get you far in this industry or in life.
