I hope Kenny isn't leaving, i feel like he's getting bored with Tay. I have always liked him. I wish the show was a bit more equal though. When Tay does let Kenny talk it's pretty entertaining. Tuesday's show was so refreshing with the robot/sex banter. It was just so funny! I only listen on demand so I have to wait for today's show to get added.

I liked her and Katie today, but I do prefer Kenny and Katie over T and Katie. Katie does talk more but I think she does let her off the hook a bit still. Katie seems laid back she'll disagree with Tay but she's not going to try to point out how wrong she is, which is fine but that doesn't really keep her on the hook. I always hate when Kennys not in, he's what keeps me listening when the show is stale.
Haven't listened to the papa can u hear me yet but idk it might be weird without Kenny.

I hate that Tay gets blamed for Kenny's apathy. He's lazy and doesn't contribute.

I think Kenny may have lost some motivation. I enjoy the show when it's just him and Katie. I agree he should contribute more. He's been quick and funny lately.

I agree! He does seem to be disconnected but we dont know why and personally I'm not blaming Tay. Kenny is my fav though and when he's in the groove he's hilarious. I think if Katie spoke more when both T and K were on there would be a better balance.

I am kinda with you on this. I used to think that she wouldn't let him get a word in edge wise, but I think she is just filling in for the lack of contribution from him.
I think they do better with a third host.

I think we need to take it easy on Kenny. He is basically working 3 full time jobs (Sirius, Stand-up and SAHD) and probably not getting quality sleep because of the baby. I still think he's just as funny as always, maybe just a little extra tired. I think he is a wonderful real-life example of how dads today are stepping it up. I really enjoy hearing his stories about Duke and being a parent.

I agree K does seem checked out a lot of times, I just kind assumed it was because he doesn't give a shit about any of the stupid repetitive topics T harps about endlessly... Everyone else got a compliment except me..waaahh 😫😭 I wouldn't be able to contribute to those conversations either honestly!

I have to agree with my namesake here... Plus I think there are days where he starts to disagree, holds his own for a bit, then just gives in cause it's the path of least resistance. I'm not blaming Taylor here...as a matter of fact, some people congratulate men for learning this at a young age in their marriages. My hubby and I laugh about it all the time (we are celebrating 20 years of marriage in August). I do get that he's on a national radio show and we would like for him to stand up to T more, but after the year she's had, and what FKCSMom pointed out, I guess we should feel fortunate they are showing up again! Lol! Speaking of showing up...
As for him being out to interview...remember how he said this weekend he was spending his first Father's Day in Manchester, NH and C & D were going with him? My bets are on them leaving early and him being out tomorrow too? I haven't listened to the end of the show but if it was an old interview and Taylor did skip out early, remember she has a wedding this weekend. I bet tomorrow is a 'Greatest Hits'...whomp whomp.

I agree fkcsmom, I'm still not tired of hearing about duke but if I might make one picky point, I would rename the subtitle of papa can you hear me to the "joys" and tribulations of dadom. Tay always says (and maybe K suggested) the trials and tribs which unnecessarily warps any discussion toward a negative direction which also coincides with the fashion in which Tay views children. if u notice, K is more likely to talk about + aspects when its just him and Katie. im still catching up. haven't even got to m y "69" yet

Same. And all his work is a great point. He's still the highlight of the show for me. And I love when he gets to talk about his son and family.

I love Kenny! When he is ON he is so funny and entertaining. I do think he's bored with Taylor and she never lets him speak. When Kenny does have a story or something to say, I've noticed Taylor responds with YEAH, and then moves right on with something else. That would get a little irritating after a while. If it were me I'd say screw it, I'm not speaking. The show is stale, and let's face it, it's her show. I'm definitely going to blame it on Taylor, he is simply ing feeding off her energy. If she's on a bad mood or is having a bad day, he will too. When she's on, he's on.
Ooooor.... Maybe Taylor is dating TD and he thinks she's a hypocrite for saying she's a feminist and is a supporter of the LGBTQ community and won't come out and say she's in a relationship with a woman.

I also think T is at least partially to blame for K's attitude this past few years. I can't begin to count the number of times he tried to tell a story but was instead cut off mid sentence by her so she could blab about herself. I felt so bad for him when that happened, which unfortunately was practically daily. So no wonder he stopped trying to contribute. I know its her show, and I love hearing about her life, but surely in 3 hours she can spare some time for K.

I'm way behind, listening to Monday's show. Loved the Hamilton segment, loved the "how much would you pay?" conversation, It was a natural progression into that topic from the Hamilton talk. Great calls, too, so funny...$1600 for American Idol tour! Ouch! Lol 😂😂😂

I just listened to it today too. I loved how Tay didn't get the hype and then she heard the song and all of a sudden she understood it.
And yes $1600 for American Idol?! Ridiculous!!
I think the most I've paid for concert tickets was $150 for the Firefly
Music Festival and it was a 4 day festival.

I paid $200 for great Fleetwod Mac seats, totally worth it!! #bucketlist ❤️❤️❤️

I completely agree regarding the path of least resistance. I had a boss who had a very similar dynamic to how Taylor and Kenny are described above. At first I would give my opinion and speak up on things. I quickly learned it is best to not say anything because by now you know how they are going to react and what the outcome is going to be. So I can understand kennys perspective of not speaking up or correcting Taylor when she is wrong. Honestly in my situation, if I did that, I had to have a very good case and point or else I will be ripped to shreds. So yes. Sometimes it is easier to just agree or say nothing at all.

Kenny is juggling a lot. Way more than Tay. He seems like such an amazing father and husband too. I've always had a crush on him lol

Kenny has actually said on air, fairly recently, that taking a stance against Taylor about issues they discuss on the show isn't worth it to him because she internalizes it and gets mad at him, so he backs down to avoid aggravation.

Well. That's pretty much the definition of giving up. It's sad. K is funny I think he shined more with three people. Seemed to have more voice.
I didn't listen back when there were 3 ppl. Do u remember when K said that on air?

I think it was something Kenny said on Periscope, not on the show.

Just listening to the Fran D interview from Friday. When she was talking about her husband and said, "he's going to do for medicine what he did for communication", all I could think was man, Dr. Harvard's Botox Train to NYC just got bitch-slapped off the rails! Better snag that WeWorks spot ASAP!! 😱😂😱😂😱😂

The caller (who also tweeted at Robert Verdi about the R word) and Robert today was just wow!
I don't think they were expecting her to call in....and the way she handled the situation, even after Robert did his "thing" was so damn impressive!
Also kudos to Katie in her show with just her and Tay.... I could honestly listen to a show with Katie as a 3rd voice or a fill in. I know Steph was a favorite of some on here but I could not stand her voice, her lack of pronunciation and her need to try to mimic Taylor. Katie just sounds like such a cool girl....and her calmness balances out the neurotic-ness and over thinking of Taylor & Kenny

I know this is a tired topic on this forum, so it's definitely tired on the show...but seriously, how much freaking dental advice do we really need?

Not as much as we're getting lol so many doctors that just don't fit into the show or don't need to come more than once. dental advice...no more thx.
Also the game...she used to do games similar to this, why not just bring back the games w prizes, you don't need a guest to do it or using a game as an excuse to keep the guest coming on air...

Totally agree. Please ditch the game "toof talk". It wasn't funny the first time. Gives me serious anxiety. Dentists and entertainment radio don't go together.

Apparently, the formula for how much dental talk we're subjected to is based on how much dental work Tay needs. Today's segment paid for her upcoming tooth whitening. Also, this game is not entertaining.
