I downloaded a couple of mods and one of them says

Hey, I downloaded a couple of mods and one of them says it needs some library file. I am not very technical, so I am unsure whether these support mods are safe to install or just extra clutter.

Re: I downloaded a couple of mods and one of them says

Hi! Many Minecraft mods need library mods, and they are not necessarily clutter; they often provide shared code that other mods depend on. For Moonlight, I would check Minecraft Catalog https://minecraft-catalog.com/mods/moonlight-lib-modpack-1-20-1-1-19-2-forge-fabric/ because the page is tied to the specific library and helps you understand why it is needed. The main thing is to match the exact Minecraft version and loader, whether Forge, Fabric or another option, before placing it in your mods folder. I usually install required libraries one by one, launch the game, and only then add the main gameplay mod. It saves a lot of confusion when something crashes.
