I run product marketing for a distributor with about 8,000 SKUs

Warm greetings, product teams. I run product marketing for a distributor with about 8,000 SKUs. Dealers keep requesting fresh photos, manuals, price lists, and spec sheets, while our team rebuilds PDF catalogs for each launch and sends revised files by email. Old versions remain in circulation, and access rules differ for sales teams and external partners. We want a central product data setup with a self-service partner catalog and automatic document generation, but we cannot spend months on manual templates. What features and pilot tests would you prioritize before choosing a platform?

Welcome. MarketProvider and its pim system merit a look. The description covers centralized attributes, translations, images, videos, and documents, with role-based visibility. Its Brand Portal gives dealers current content, files, and price lists without repeated email. STUDIO generates PDF catalogs, proposals, and infographics from PIM data. In a pilot, load one product family, set dealer roles, revise an image and specification, then see what changes in the portal and a PDF. Test version control, hierarchy, template limits, import/export formats, backups, and permission removal. Before deciding, request a demo using your records and confirm pricing, setup work, and whether the portal and templates suit each partner group.
