Seems like the only people still on this board dislike "Wakeup" and Taylor. I still like the show and most of the hosts with her. Ok she's tells repeat story's, try having a show for 10 yrs. where you talk for 3 hours everyday and not tell a repeat story. Having said that I live in the Midwest and would love to hear more stories about living in New York. Since I've listened for so many years it's nice to hear her happy and in love. This is just my opinion I know there are many more shows on SiriusXM to pick from if you really don't like Wake Up.

I agree. I still like the show and listen every day. I was crushed when Kenny was leaving but actually love the group of cohosts she has. No offense to Kenny, but I enjoy the show more now because I've been exposed to all these personalities I hadn't known before, like Carly Aquilino. The variety keeps Taylor on her toes and keeps it interesting. There's a lot more new experiences for Taylor like walking the carpet at the VMA's. I stopped posting here because no one here likes the show and it was discouraging. I recently started to post about loving her new Facebook Live videos, but figured it would start up an avalanche of comments about how terrible they are, how terrible she is, etc, so I didn't bother. Maybe we can use this thread for people who enjoy the show. ;)

I also still love the show and very rarely miss an episode.I like most of the new co-hosts and I also enjoy hearing the new personalities - though I miss Kenny like crazy. It is discouraging to come here and see all the negativity, but I like to hear the different perspectives...
Overall, yes, I am with you. I wish we were more positive on this site. Have a great week!

To add to this - I really want to do a meet-up with fans. I don't have any friends who listen so this is the only place I can come for discussion on the show. I am also lacking friends in close-ish proximity to me because I picked up my life and moved to a different state where I didn't know a soul. I am now a Wisconsinite if anyone else is too!

CoolBreeze - I agree you, I still listen to the show. I've been listening for ten years now. I think Tay has been through a lot of changes lately and over the years I've watched her grow. Though, the show is slightly different without Kenny, I think Tay is still doing well carrying the show. I enjoy hearing the weekly guest the come on. Yes, she does repeat stories, but that's ok. At least, she has stories to tell. Who wants to listen to show where the person the talking does not share their life experiences. Hearing some of her stories have gotten me through some of my toughest moments and they've let me know that I'm not the only person going through them. You've gotta appreciate the show for what it is and Tay for who she is. No one is perfect.

I don't think anyone expects her to be perfect, but repeating the same tired ass story 3x in one week is a bit much. I would love a show where the host shares their life experiences, that's why I USED to love the show, unfortunately the only experiences she shares now are the same ones I've heard over and over for 10 yrs. sorry - I won't hijack your love thread again!

I don't love the show anymore. I like it depending on the day. I really do like some of the topics and cohosts...still have a bitter taste about that Michelle woman though. I do not like Taylor anymore but that's ok. I don't think she makes the show to be honest. I think the content makes it and when it isn't repeated stories it can be very engaging. So I appreciate different point of view. I also love debating so I want people to feel free to discuss what they love about the show. Depending on the day I may be there with you. Online forums can be harsh places so if you feel beaten down with negativity it may not be the place for you. But just know that I would love to hear your thoughts even if I don't agree. It's almost as boring to be in a forum where everyone is of the same mindset as it is to listen to the same stories everyday ;)

I still enjoy the show and listen every day while I work on demand. I do miss the days of Kenny and their dynamic and there have definitely been some co-hosts who were terrible since he left but it seems like they are FINALLY finding a groove with the regulars. Sounds like Carly, Lori and Rob have secured their permanent spot. I hope Mike Cannon becomes more of a regular too. I like Clay Aiken. And I'd like more Robert Verdi! I feel like his segments are so short. And more Wider too.
The repeat stories don't really bother me when they're in the right context and I think they will die down a bit now that she has more of a rapport with her cohosts. I think the constant revolving door was really hard on Taylor when you have people like Michelle from last week on.
I will say, I am OVER the evil sister in law stuff. I really don't want to hear about it ever again unless she has something new to say.

I still love WakeUp! I was getting annoyed when Taylor wasn't being honest about the divorce or TD, but she seems so happy now! I also love the regular cohosts, Carly is awesome, I love how Lori brings a parenting aspect to the show, but not every sentence is about being a mom. Then Rob is a breath of fresh air! I miss Kenny, but his heart wasn't in the show the last year of so.
I'm not from Wisconsin, but my fiancé is and we visit twice a year I'd love to meet some other listeners! I have two friends I met at one of Kenny's stand up shows and at the Ugly
Christmas party last year. We text all the time about the show, but I love having this outlet too!

I still love the show. I enjoy it more now than the last couple of years when Kenny was still on-he was so completely checked out, and brought nothing to the show.
Taylor's stories do get a bit old, and sometimes I am disgusted by her attitudes and behaviour, but that doesn't effect my ability to enjoy the show, and I have yet to find something that entertains me the same way in the am.

I liked today's segment on what makes people jealous. Even though Taylor was telling the same stories it was nice to hear her talk about her personal life again and genuinely laugh at herself. I don't need to hear every detail of her relationship or life, but the stories about Brett and things like boutique bitches is what drew me in years ago.

I agree with chel, SA and thread-starter. the repeat stories don't bother me really at all. I'd rather have the show than not. I'm in DC and the political climate is so stifling, sometimes I need a laugh and the girl sure has the gift of gab. how many cups of coffee do u guys think she has. I like fluently-fast talkers like taylor and Joy Reid (see, their I go down that political rabbit hole again). any stories about brett would actually sound fresh to me as I have not heard anything about him. and I agree with chel, any evil SIL stories must comprise new unpublished material.
lastly, new listeners are finding her every day. I myself entered the scene when she and B were moving into the snazzy apartment.

I think I'm done with this forum. Way too much negativity for a "fan" page. My last straw is the negative things said on the stassi thread. If you actually listen to it, that wasn't the case at all. I love Tay. Love the show. But I'm done with that hating. Maybe those of us who actually like it will find some other outlet to share on.
Furthermore, I don't know why those who don't listen would care to contribute. Perhaps you loved it at one time and now you don't. Fine. Stop listening . Stop caring. Don't be mean. I don't have a dog in this fight other than being a long time listener. I miss Kenny so much but things change, people move on and shows evolve. They're in the middle of that evolution so if you don't like it, tune to a different channel.

Chelchel, I personally hope you stay so others of us that love the show have friends to post with. I understand how you feel though. When I don't care for a show or an entertainer, I move on to someone that enriches my life in some way, someone that makes me laugh, educates me, interests me, makes me happy, inspires me, something... The hatred and picking apart Taylor on this forum blows me away. By people "who don't listen to the show".
I currently have a proposal prediction I'm dying to share and flesh out. Most "fan forums" would be the ideal place to do so. Here, not so much.

Here's the thing. This page was started when there was a lot of "deception" on the show. It was a place where fans were trying to flesh out the truth about what was going on since a lot was hidden. She had reason for it so that's not to blame anyone but most of the people who were on here (I was just a lurker at that point) felt betrayed and took personally the behavior that was happening. Should it be that way? Probably not. Almost nobody on here knows her personally and it's just a show for entertainment. But the majority of people here weren't coming on as fans to celebrate the good. So from the start it had that tone. Unfortunately it should've evolved...but it hasn't. The same people are primarily on here. It wasn't created as a way to celebrate the good or bad. But with the deception and changes the bad took over.
Generally people don't seek out online forums for something they are happy with. That's not to say they don't exist but people tend to focus on negative much more than positive. If you go to the Wakeup Facebook page almost all the comments there are positive and I think that's how the positivity comes out. Those fans call in and show their pleasure and appreciation on Facebook and Instagram. They are happy so they don't tend to seek out a place.
Certainly there are broad fan forums but they Also are for things with much larger audience bases. I think here people became attached to a show that did a complete 180 and they are having a hard time letting go. I have a hard time letting go because I miss the past and it is nostalgic for me, but I'm also not 100% in the negative zone. I waiver at 50/50. I come on here half the time when I'm bored and it gives me an escape and half the time in case I've missed something interesting.
Also I think I probably interpret (and that's just it, an interpretation) Taylor's words and actions differently than perhaps you do ChelChel. I didn't listen to Stassi's podcast so I can't comment on what happened there. But based on what taylor often says,, I'm sure people see it both ways.
As my husband just said, because he's wondering what the heck I'm doing and I explained my post, there's no point wasting time on negative. So if it's too negative for you by all means leave and I don't want you to leave, just saying that don't force this if it upsets you. Nobody should want more negativity in their life. I don't want it but I'm a pessimist so I tend to seek it out (and that's not healthy). I'm sure posting on Facebook page would get some great feedback. Or maybe even staring a fan forum for positive posts only? There's a Facebook wakeup group that I bet has a lot of fans in it and would love to chat with you.
You are always welcome here in my mind but it's probably not worth you getting upset over.

And here to post something positive and in solidarity...one of my favorite parts of the show used to be when she'd bring in articles from Cosmo or some other magazine and give people enough time to call in to comment on it. She's been doing that a lot more lately and I really love hearing callers call. I've called a few times but nobody ever picks up.

I've noticed that they've been doing more call in segments too, and I really enjoy the caller interaction.

Did you guys hear the valentine call from Taylor to Katie? It was so funny when Taylor talked about having to repeat all her stories for every new cohost.
I'm a long time fan of the show. I think Taylor is really finding her groove again and I love the regular co-hosts. I do miss Kenny, but I think the show is finally finding its stride again.

I loved the segment on jealousy the other day. Taylor was so funny and open and the callers were hilarious. That was a classic WUWT show.

Longtimelistener that was a fantastic post! Spoken so well and fair. Chelchel I agree with Longtime, there are other groups that are truly more "fan" groups. There is a private FB group called "Wake up! With Taylor listeners." That may be what you are looking for. I just don't think this group, although open to all opinions, is just a fan page. You seem almost upset and there's no reason for that. Just find one that fits what you are looking for better. I have belonged to other groups (not wakeup related) and it wasn't for me so I moved on.

I freaking loved that valentine vignette - I legitimately laughed out loud.
Also loving the caller interaction and honestly think it's a lot better now than when Kenny was there. I miss Kenny a ton but he and Taylor were mean sometimes (even though I enjoyed the snark) there were plenty of moments I felt bad for the callers. I think having rotating cohosts helps give Taylor fresh eyes & perspective on her show and the audience.
The jealousy segment was hysterical.

Just listened to the Valentine show it was great! So cool they got TD on the air it was nice to hear them together.
