hey guys! please don't crucify me but I had to register to stick up for her a little.This is how much festival tickets cost. And for the same amount of time. (Coachella and Tomorrowland are even more but this is how much EDC is). You can get cheaper tickets, but the bathrooms are hell and you get nice little smaller places to escape to. And that doesn't include airfare or hotels/camping either. I think this would be a good vacation for someone who doesn't take a lot of weekend getaways and wants an excuse to do something really different. Eeeek sorry everyone, I know it seems expensive at first but I just wanted to compare it to the other really popular events these days.

No, no! Boots & Hearts is about 10 minutes for me, absolute VIP including tent/trailer space is $1k (CAD) for 4 days....acts going on three stages. If you want to stay in a hotel close by, at the most you're looking at $150 (CAD)/night, but can get  Air B&Bs and cheaper places for under $100. Its not Coachella draw, but its massive (40K + people) and people from all over the world come.

Not crucifying, but facts are facts. You cannot compare this to a festival. Period.  I do wish everyone stopped trying to stick up for something that's indefensible.   It is what it is. She wants you, to pay for her vacation. If she throws you a couple glasses of cheap wine she thinks (And obviously) shes right that some listeners skirts will blow up. I guess I don't understand how pathetic one would be to not see through this.

I don't know the full price range, but hell.. even that cruise starts at only $700! 

A friend of mine has done a few of the cruises and its non stop. Every night is a different theme, concerts every night, lots of meet and greets, plus its a cruise so a few different ports. Other then booze and transportation, everything is included.

So this whole trip is pending the minimum of 10 people signing up or it’s cancelled.

I asked if I get refunded the money since their BS PDF said no refunds...I got back a single “Yes” response.

They then followed up with a different email saying funds would be returned if the 10 people minimum wasn’t met.

I then asked this:

Is there a time frame people need to commit by? I don’t want to pay for or book flights + hotel to find the event falls through.

They then respond with this:

We are taking the bookings on a first come, first serve basis as there are limited spots.  My suggestion to you is to look at flights and maybe hold it, and we can contact you when we are near our limit.  You don’t have to book the hotel until we are a go because we have blocked rooms.  Hope this helps.


Sooo basically I would have to pay them and wait for them to tell me they are close to the minimum amount of people before booking a flight.

Also they are assuming you will book with their hotel. No mention of what if someone wants to book at a different hotel.


Also kind of trashy for Ed to hop on her post to make fun of fans. It looks bad on him and even worse on her because you know she is bitching and complaining how everyone is “Just jealous.”
