She needs to get on MyFitnessPal and track what’s actually going on, I bet it would be a huge shock!

Oh ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!
I use that app every time I need to put myself in check. I'm actually on schedule to start using it for my summer body.
You truly don't understand how many calories you're eating until you track it and force yourself to be held accountable. Although she knows how to do that, it's basically Weight Watchers.

Oh yeah, any time I have friends trying to lose weight the first thing I tell them to do is write down everything they eat and drink for a few days- you will see quickly how much calories add up that way! I had to do it for awhile when I was trying to pinpoint what foods I was possibly allergic to; it is nuts how much food people thoughtlessly pop into their mouths throughout the day that you don't really think about! And drinks- so many hidden calories in drinks! That was when I figured out that fruit juice is NOT worth it; just eat the damned fruit, you are way better off calorie wise, lol

I do crazy shit that TS would totally judge. 12-24 hour endurance and team building events run by military special forces. But.... I like my food and love a cocktail. During Feb/ March I cut out alcohol during the week. No “homework wine”. Which is the two glasses I want after homework hell with my son. My stomach was flat as a pancake. If Taylor would simply cut out 1/2 the alcohol she drinks and go for a 2 mile walk each day, she would see a change. She doesn’t need Keto, or Beach fucking Body (sorry pet peeve). She needs to move, and cut the booze. I’ve had a few events recently and I always end up eating and drinking around them. So the pooch is back. It’s my fault. I did 40 miles on Saturday but you can’t out run the effect of too much food and booze. I’m also 45 so everything would be easier for Taylor at 35.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I really hate that she judges people who do that and go to the gym or run marathons or do anything physically active. I’ve gone through stages of doing absolutely nothing (there was a period of 4 years where I had 5 shoulder surgeries and couldn’t really do anything except recover) to working out 5-6 days per week. The only people I judge really just annoy me...they are the ones who can’t stop talking about it constantly. It’s awesome that you do it and an amazing accomplishment but after we’ve talked about it once or twice, it’s not like we need to talk about your workout daily (hopefully you don’t think I mean you! I’m speaking from personal experience!).
But super kudos to you...even more so at 45!! #womanpower

I guess my point was that even doing crazy amounts of activity doesn’t make up for a poor diet. Hence my wine pooch.
At 35.... if Taylor would walk and cut the booze a bit, she could lose a few of the pounds that bother her. I think she looks fine, but she seems unhappy.

You "did 40 miles on Saturday" as in RUN 40 MILES?! I just started training for my first half and struggling to get past the 4 mile hump...tell me your secrets!!! And whatever way you did 40 miles, is damn impressive.

I gotta ask, whats your pet peeve with Beach Body. for the record, I'm not a fan of any MLM schemes.
Offline

Total speculation but I think her issue is with the name beach body? Like you gotta exercise too to get abs? But idk? That would be my pet peeve with the diet?

Omg, the stench in that fucking red flannel shirt (and black leggings, I assume) must be unreal at this point.

I obviously can't speak for Rescuemom (aka frickin' Superwoman! Running 40 miles in a day?! You're such a badass! I don't think I've run 40 miles in the last year), but BeachBody is such a scam. I mean, yes it works, but the whole concept is.... wait for it... following the dietary guidelines. People lose weight because they eat what they're supposed to, in the quantities they're supposed to, and get slightly more physical activity than is recommended for health/maintenance (150 min/wk is recommended, with BB you're encouraged to get at least 210 (I think)). You can do the whole diet with measuring cups instead of the colored containers. Such a brilliant, brilliant scam.
Also, ::soapbox alert:: there are a lot of nuances to the field of nutrition. Dietitians get 4 years of education that is very heavily science-based. RDs also have to complete a 10 month internship after that (very competitive) and then take a national exam. Starting in 2024(?) an master's degree will also be required. My profession is not a hobby.

First, I don’t think I’ve RUN 40 miles in my lifetime! Go rescuemom!
Second, thanks for the insight on RDs...I had no idea on the qualifications! Badass, too!
Third, I’ll bet you anything I know which BB it is who tried to slip in the ad. She’s always posting her photo (selfie, conveniently) and in one post about the keto diet, she slipped in her #ad about something “exciting” she has coming up with BB2. There was a mild kerfluffle of activity around this (“Are you going to the trading? Me too! So excited!”) but she was clearly trying to drum up customers. This is the same chick that bought a Norma Kamali jumpsuit on Amazon and had to post a pic for everyone to see...

Ah yes... I remember her. Sorry for the rant last night, Benadryl + stress makes a person edgy, it seems (before making them a drooling, passed out lump 😬)

It really is crazy that people don't realize how trained and educated dietitians are- just the other day a woman I know who has a degree in nutrition and is an RN had posted on FB, debunking all these fad diets like Beach Body. All she said is there is no quick fix for lasting weight loss, it takes a balanced diet in the right portions and moderate exercise, etc. and just encouraged people to consult a professional before starting a diet to make sure it's healthy and safe. Some chick who was obviously a BB or Keto rep was arguing with her, and saying the stupidest shit on her feed; she actually said the human body really isn't designed to break down carbohydrates and so they make you fat. Are you kidding me? How dumb is that? That's not how any of this works.....and this woman is probably feeding this shit to her clients, too. Unreal.

I wouldn't call BB a fad diet. I'm not a coach or anything, but have done their programs. I don't use the containers (because like Secco said, you can do the same using just measurements and honestly common sense) but do enjoy the workouts because I can do it at home (live in the country and closest gym is 30 miles away). and they aren't too hard to scare me off. I'm sure some BB coaches can get really crazy, but in my area the coaches are pretty normal and don't get down your throat.

Her instagram is so boring and frankly not that style savvy.

Has anyone checked out her IG from last night?! I didn't even realize it was her at first... holy botox! I don't think the pony helped.

I think she looked great, even though not at all like herself with all the makeup. I do agree the botox has gotten out of hand! She's aging herself so much with the frozen face.

Loved her hair!! Didn’t love the top, but didn’t see a full shot of the outfit so may be better.

I checked in to see what Tay was up to recently... Her IG story had me like... An instructional story on making a Gin and Tonic. I really thought she was going to make some interesting cocktail. Instead, we got, pour some gin, and then add the tonic. I was dying. Oh she added apple slices so I guess that was interesting.

#ad Seems the only time she'll put any effort into social media is when she's being directly paid for it.

I just started doing Instagram for my business and I hate posting frequently. That being said, I’m easily finding a bunch of things to post. I keep taking pictures and thinking of a short post to go along with the photos. My life is not exciting in the least.. And I have 3 children, two professions, and run our household. How does she not think of anything to post?!?! I have nothing to offer and hate social media and still can come up with the 30 seconds to post something.
Offline

Knowing how this works, I don't think it was a paid #ad I'm pretty sure they sent her a case of gin. But my point is, make something like a gin Campari sour or a Bees Knees. I couldn't stop chuckling when she literally poured some tonic in the most "instructional" way.
Offline
Seriously... a g&t is pretty self explanatory. Did you notice how she poured the tonic into a glass container before pouring it into her drink?
That's a lot of effort for someone who claims to be so stressed out by Instagram. The #ad at the end is extra annoying to me because she so rarely posts... like how she shit talks Facebook until she needs to promote her Younger show.

Thank you for noticing the glass container!! What was that about 😂
