Mmoexp POE currency: Use Visual Cues in the Fog of War

3. Use Visual Cues in the Fog of War
Certain visual cues will indicate the presence of a Corrupted Nexus map, even if you haven’t fully explored that area yet:

Black Stone Spire with Corruption Miasma: Look for a black stone spire emitting a dark miasma, which signifies corruption. This is an early indicator that a Corrupted Nexus map could be in the vicinity. It’s one of the most reliable visual markers in the Fog of War.

Red Corruption Around Towers: Another key marker is the red corruption that surrounds towers. These structures will glow red when corruption has begun to spread. Focus on these towers as they likely indicate the presence of Corrupted Nexus maps in that region.

4. Explore Based on Atlas Connections
In Path of Exile 2, the Atlas is interconnected, with maps leading into other regions and zones. Use this interconnectivity to your advantage:

Explore Connections: If you’ve already unlocked some regions of the Atlas, explore the adjacent zones and keep track of where corruption is spreading. This will help you determine where new Corrupted Nexus maps are likely to spawn.

Look for Gaps in the Fog: Use any unlocked regions as landmarks to find areas that are still covered in the Fog of War. Sometimes, corrupted Nexus maps will appear in areas that were previously hidden, so always return to explore these blank spaces on your Atlas.
