Hey everyone! I want to share how I found a good electrician in Lansing. My wife and I bought a house and decided to do some cosmetic renovations. Wanted to replace a few outlets and the living room chandelier. Thought I could handle it myself – I cut the power, took down the old fixture, but when I started connecting the new one, I noticed the wires looked strange and the insulation was cracking. Got scared, put everything back together, and realized – I can't do this without a pro.My wife found JTT Electric online: jttelectric.com . Read the reviews – good ones. I called and explained the situation. They said a technician would come the next day. He arrived, looked at my attempts, smiled, and said I did the right thing by calling. The wiring was really old and brittle – could have caused a short or worse. He replaced the chandelier in an hour, installed the new grounded outlets I'd bought. Also checked all the wiring in the room – found one bare wire. Good thing we caught it early. Everything was done neatly and cleanly. The price was very reasonable. Now I know – electricity is no joke. Better to call professionals right away than to take risks. I recommend JTT Electric.
