Need a Lightweight Archiver

I’m looking for a lightweight file archiver that doesn’t take up much space or slow down my computer. Some of the tools I’ve tried are bulky and affect my system’s performance. Does anyone know of a smaller, faster option?

Re: Need a Lightweight Archiver

I’ve had the same concern—some archivers are really resource-heavy. You should check out https://www.unziptool.com/ It’s incredibly lightweight and designed to run smoothly even on older systems. What’s great is that it focuses on the basics: double-click to extract files instantly or right-click to create an archive in seconds. I didn’t notice any lag while using it, even on a low-spec laptop. Do you often work with large archives, or is it just smaller files that slow things down?

Re: Need a Lightweight Archiver

I tried UnzipTool after your suggestion, and it’s perfect! It doesn’t slow down my computer at all, even when working with larger files. I’m really impressed with how fast it extracts archives, and the interface is so clean and simple. This tool is exactly what I needed—thanks for sharing this tip! It’s definitely staying on my system.
