I thought it was so fake. He named their dead grandparents. I'm sure he had full names of Tay, kenny and Katie before show with time to google thier names + obituaries. That would easily turn up that info.

 
I read a great article a few weeks ago about the Long Island medium that touched on this. Everyone who goes to her shows have this massive questionnaire they have to fill out before hand, and she only ever talks to be people in the first few rows. The guy reporting went in being a believer and said it was just awful once there with most people walking out saying the same thing.

And obviously the reason he knew the legal name of Katie's grandmother is because he looked it up, and that's what is on legal documents, not the name they called her. 

The name thing with Katie's grandmother just helped confirm it was fake to me. He named "Mary", the GM's proper first name, which she never went by ever. That's the name that would be in an obituary if someone did research on Katie's family. Why would the dead GM use "Mary" when communicating with Katie? Also, he says he just gets first initials sometimes... that's the trick psychics use because you can call out common letters and it'll apply to somebody in the room. Disappointing. It will be interesting when he allows callers next time. I bet he suddenly starts using initials.

I hate to rain on your parade, but I saw this video a while back when posted  and If you watched the show her friends called her Jamie-la several times.

I'm not a fan of Jamie. I watched a few videos until one was of her crying because one of her kids is not as affectionate as she would like them to be. Very sad.

Taylor has talked about Kimmy on the show before. She mentioned her a couple of times when Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) was on. She said her mom ways liked Kimmy Gibbler because she had a friend Kimmy when she was growing up. I'm not sure if she mentioned she had died, though.

Omg they are still on this guy? Please Kenny and Taylor. This guy was a scam. He googled you family's and found out who died and got their names. That's it. It was obvious when he said Katie's grand mothers birth name and NOT the name she went by. Obvious! Get over it! This guy is a sham. Gullible.

I got confused;  my recording (XM) was short (because they start at 7 instead of 6)  and so all I heard was them saying how john knew their mothers' names.  did he actually read them on-air because i'll go back and listen further on the pod.  help me out here guys.  call me lame but I would watch Hollywood medium, halfway just to see the houses these people live in but I don't believe mr Hollywood doesn't know who's house he's going to prior to getting there
 

 
During the WUWT interview with Snooki, Tay complimented Snooki on her house (having watched her segment on Hollywood medium). Snooki said it wasn't even her house. I would believe that's it's all bs on that show- celebrity's home, dead people names, scribbles in his notebook, etc.

ALL of what Thomas John said during his interview was easily found on Google. Even info on Kim (Babette was mentioned in her obit).

I love to listen to Medium stuff, I don't believe, but want to lol. I very much enjoyed listening to him but almost every detail could be found in their obits, even the part about Taylor's grandfather being a manager at Saks (hence the shopping bags comments). I thought her grandfather's occupation was a really odd factoid to be in her grandmother's obit though. He was a general manager at a Saks  store in Ft. Lauderdale , not of the whole corporation. Not sure why it seems Taylor and her fam think this is especially noteworthy or impressive. Just strange to me.

I'm way behind and just listened to this show on demand.  I'm not convinced these callers were listeners.  No one responded to Taylor with "Hey Girl Hey!" or show any interest in calling into Wake up like the listeners usually do. I think these callers were set up by Thomas John.  They just seemed really off to me.

I lost my Mom a few years ago to cancer and my husband's younger brother died this year of a heart attack at 30, just a few weeks before I had our first baby. We had delayed and delayed trying to get pregnant after my mom's death. Her diagnosis and our family planning timeline overlapped but her prognosis was not good so we put baby making on hold. For YEARS I just couldn't imagine being able to enjoy motherhood without sharing it with her; telling her I was pregnant, having her visit me in the hospital, etc. Then this whole thing happened with my BIL, which was totally unexpected and just a genetic flaw we knew nothing about. Anyway, the sad background just to say I've been giving so much thought to paying lots of $$$ to talk to a medium and after this show I was really tempted to try and schedule something with this guy. I looked at his website but I'm glad you guys posted this stuff about your skepticism.  Sometimes you want to believe something so much that you don't think logically about it...
