VPN for Remote Work – Any Real Recommendations?
Hi everyone! Since switching to remote work, I’ve run into a really annoying issue. When I work from home, all my corporate tools load fast — but when I switch to a café or coworking space, some platforms suddenly slow down or stop working altogether. A colleague mentioned I should use a VPN, but he didn’t say which one or why. I started researching on my own, but every “Top 10 VPN” list online feels sponsored, and the reviews contradict each other. Some people say a VPN has perfect speeds, others say it becomes unusable. I don’t want to waste money testing endless services. I just need something stable, affordable, secure, and easy to set up across multiple devices. Has anyone dealt with similar issues while working remotely? I’d appreciate real feedback from people who actually use VPNs for work, not advertisements.

Hey, I’ve been there. When I started remote work, I constantly had problems with my tools loading slowly on café Wi-Fi. I tried three different VPNs before finding something that actually worked consistently. The one that finally fixed the issue for me was vpn The speed stays stable even during busy café hours, and I regularly upload large design files, so that was important to me. I also double-checked their privacy terms after a bad experience with a previous provider that collected more data than it should. This one has a clear no-logs policy and feels trustworthy. Setup took maybe two minutes on both laptop and phone. What I appreciate most is that it keeps my access to work tools stable no matter where I connect from — home, coworking, or even hotel Wi-Fi when I travel. Definitely worth trying if you need a VPN specifically for remote work.
