That's what I understood it to mean, but she wasn't specific.  However, she always says that her marriage broke up because of the E family, so if she says similar problems are arising in her current relationship it leads me to believe it is extended family issues.

Haven't listened to the show. But I would say I doubt she regrets getting divorced. I don't think the in laws were the main reason Taylor wanted to divorce. She says that was the big issue. But in my uninformed opinion, I think it was a compatibility issue with her and Brett and the sisters were an added problem. As far as current issues, Taylor really needs to learn to coexist with other people who aren't always nice. It's hard to get along with in laws sometimes. But we can't always be surrounded by people who worship us like our own family. You just deal with it,  ignore them and move on. Don't need to pick a fight with every asshole who crosses your path.

I'm listening now to the breakup lady. Damn . Taylor is so annoying and won't shut up, and the anger and resentment toward everyone in her life is like venom spewing from her. If you hate all of these people so bad, like your friends because they are so awful, then cut ties. Arent you the ultimate bridge burner? Ugh this segment just made me so angry I can't believe I kept listening!

Did Taylor say if her current relationship is with a man?

Also way back when she said she stayed at Nicole and Matt's apartment for like 2 months when she was getting divorced. She's such an ungrateful B!!!

While worded much nicer, its the same ideology so I think if women can have that attitude it's only fair that a man can too.

Kenny basically said what you did, it was just a feel good video. Taylor thought it was stupid, and the only reason it went viral was because it was done on FB Live and they pushed it out because they want it used. It wasn't as good high five you're a star or whatever her video was.

It did for me as well.

Regarding Taylor being the common denominator with her troubles in relationships. I've been listening to the old shows from 2012 on my long runs (full marathon training) and to hear the way she speaks about Brett and their issues, now that she's divorced, is so telling. She doesn't sound like she respected him, they don't seem compatible AT ALL, whatever the issues with the sisters where, I'm feeling like weren't that big of a deal, but because Tay and B weren't a match, it made outside forces and issues magnified, because she (and probably he) weren't happy together. And lastly, she didn't join him on anything he did (working out, Jewish celebrations, family functions) because she chose to go home to her family or because she decided they weren't that big of a deal. But because she was raised by parents that taught her everyone is either jealous of her or just a mean girl, she doesn't have an understanding of some people just don't jive and that's okay. And that sometimes we have to do things out of obligation (seeing family members you don't like but can still be polite to)

Also, +1 to asking questions and listening (about the segment they had the relationship therapist on). It was all Taylor regurgitating the same stories and issues to a different Doctor. Kenny tried to keep her on track but then they were out of time. What was the point of having her?? Free therapy for tay?

And right on to everything Record Everything said, you "hit the nail on the head"!!!

Can "Record Everything" or anyone please let me know how to go back to the shows from 2012 as referenced above? I didn't listen much during their marriage and have been wanting to listen to those! I only see more recent shows listed on Demand? I'd love to listen to those during long commutes. Thanks so much!

It would be great to have some references to old shows like date/hour/subject especially those during the marriage. Or even ones that made you laugh really hard. I've been wanting to find some of these old and new to show to my mom and cousin to show them y I got into the show in the first place. Ex. A few weeks ago Tay said something about hating when people wear Disney characters on shirts and Kenny said I have someone very close to me that does this, my mistress mini mouse. It made me laugh so hard  but idr when it was. Would be interesting to share things like that

Maybe we can start a new topic dedicated to posting "must listen to" shows or segments with dates. Some of our favorites, old ones and new ones as they happen, but also the old ones reflective of Taylor and Brett's relationship. I can think of a couple we've all laughed at recently, like Taylor's audition tape and the "what would you eat on a desert island" segment.

I loved the WeeWorks is bringing back entrepreneurs lol I listen to Randy Zuckernerg weekly and she has said numerous times that there are more entrepreneurs then ever before and the numbers keep growing.
