Reality Show - Radio in the City

They should have included something about Taylor's marriage/ discovering her sexuality in the sample episode!! That would be so marketable I bet!!!

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

It sounds like TD has footage for years. Hopefully she can update the demo footage and they can be submitting it to include her new life.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

What the F? Is Radar Online part of her infamous meetings? So she can leak things into the media in hopes of becoming relevant?

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Stassi said something about having her own spin off from Vanderpump on her last podcast, correct? more of a joke, but maybe we are all getting played.

We should send them stories and see what happens!

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Ok this article makes my mind spin!!
First of all I would be pissed if my friend spoke to radar or somewhere (unless Stassi knew)

Interesting that Stassi was potentially part of this idea years ago...
Also I love how Tay or the articles author try to make it seem as though this idea came about to save Stassi from vanderpump...even if it was the same time I can see Tay involving Stassi to make it more likely to get picked up and she could have gained fame that way.

I would LOVE to see Stassi have a radio show, love her podcast. It's fun and well thought out. (Ex she may do a monthly segement about a murder story or crime) Aside from doctors wake up doesn't really have any regular segments. And it would be great TV also. I didn't like Stassi at first but I think she's really great now.

They're still working on it? I know the shows being worked on but that last paragraph confuses me. Why wasn't Stassi in the promo? Nicole isn't mentioned, was she just not mentioned or is she not 100% involved or something? Has Stassi been potentially involved all along or just rethinking it now? Idk when this interview with Tay was but is it still something Stassi would be interested in (Patrick works at sirius and they just broke up)? So many questions just from this short article...

Edit: I know radar isn't the most reliable source. I'm just reacting as though the article is real/true. If it's not obviously I wouldn't have as many questions lol

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Did Taylor never do a blog about it?

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

this is clearly her "team" trying to get her name out there. the only way a site would post about Taylor is if she was attached to Stassi - otherwise, she's totally irrelevant. the post wouldn't get any clicks without Stassi's name. I'm also sure Stassi doesn't mind the attention an article like this gives her. it's a win-win for both of them. having worked at the nation's top celeb magazine, i can assure you, this came straight from one of their mouths. and they both are in on it.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Omg- like Taylor has the kind of 'influence' to 'get Stassi a spin-off'. Are you kidding me??? I am seriously laughing out loud right now!!! How can anyone take anything she says seriously. First of all, it's to RADARONLINE. Not People Magazine. Second, if anyone has influence in the industry it would be Stassi, not Taylor...the queen of 'no follow-through' and "I'm working on my brand with my team but is my brand fashion? Lifestyle? Or today I was told I should be a psychologist so maybe I'll do that!!" She's so all over the place she doesn't know whether she's coming or going.

I'll tell you this- IF (that's a big IF) she were on any show, she better HOPE AND PRAY that Stassi is on it because no one will watch it except the subset of the subset of Sirius listeners who have heard of her. Stassi is the name and they'd use the VPR connection to advertise it and get viewers. But with the battle for channels already so crowded, I'd see a YouTube show and that's about it. Not Bravo...sorry Tay Tay.

Totally!  Her "team" (barf) is trying to get some hype behind the reality show. Really makes me wonder where she an Nicole stand though.

With Andy having his own show down the hall from her, if there was any validity in this whole thing, he would have had her on forever ago to see what peoples reaction was.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

But stassi is back on pump now and was helping out with another spinoff of bravo in the hamptons so this makes no sense. And yes great question where's the mention of Nicole. Smh

This is insane. The grammatical errors make me wonder if Taylor wrote it herself.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Here is my take on the article. They wanted Stassi to film "radio in the city" with them since attaching her name would increase their chances of being picked up. But things did not work out with Stassi in NY, not to mention she has no "radio" experience, nor can Taylor just "give" her a show. This article makes Taylor out to be much higher up at Sirius, when we all know she does not have that kind of role. "We're working on it" makes me laugh, like Taylor is some executive producer. I just see Taylor so desperate to be a celebrity.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Well if the comments are anything to go by, people don't really want to see Stassi with her own show anyway.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

What a joke. Radio in the city is a joke. I can't believe that's all Taylor wants to do with her life, be on a reality show. And she complains about the kardashians? At least they have successful side businesses. Sorry but I'm in a bad mood today. Taylor is not dynamic to be on tv. I can barely watch her periscopes.

This sort of leads to a question I've had for a little while now- if Taylor lost WakeUp, what would her "full time" gig be? I seriously doubt any of these side projects she does could pay the bills, not to mention most of them are completely supported by her platform on Sirius and would likely die on the vine if she didn't have a show anymore.

If her blog is any indication, she definitely doesn't have a future in writing. And as desperate to get on TV as she is, I feel like she would have been offered a hosting gig by now if anyone was interested.

I much prefer her on Periscope to the radio. To me, her Periscope personality is why I first fell in love with the show. I think she would be a lot of fun on TV, I just can't fathom what the show would be about. They can't spend that much time in the studio, and TD seems pretty private so there goes that side of her life.

That is SUCH a great question! She really thinks of herself as a fashionista and lifestyle blogger (smh) which makes me laugh so hard. And with skin as thin as hers, she will NEVER make it on any television show. She's whining daily about mean people on social media, now that she has someone new, every day, to listen to all of her stories. (I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to last listening to daily repeats of them though!)

I'm sure her "team" at weworks will come up with something. She has lots of meetings!

Did you hear in the segment where she was going through what was in her person? She brought up her WeWorks card and quickly said she doesn't even use it. I really hope Matt hasn't been footing the bill..

Listening on demand and just heard that part and was literally about to post that- sounds like one more thing she hasn't followed through with.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

So I have a theory as to why Taylor wears the same outfits so often. You know the ones- the yellow jacket/yellow pant deal and the striped off the shoulder top/white Jean combo. Cute outfits, but does she not have more items in her closet?

Back to my theory. I had a friend who once was on a show (semi-reality ish- ok it was house hunters on HGTV). They shot over several days and she had to wear the same outfit everyday so they could get enough footage, edit and piece together for a 30 minute show.

Maybe if she's trying to put together a new promo with new hook (used to be married to a man now I'm dating a girl) that could explain the outfits on repeat?

All I know is her two outfits are cute, but every time I see her wearing them again I'm like whhhyyyyy.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

Taylor has always worn the same outfits on repeat. I don't think it has to do with a potential reality show.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

While a good theory, I think she just likes them. She said she wore the yellow one on the plane home, then into the studio Monday morning. I can't imagine that those two "scenes" would be that tied togeather it would warrant wearing the outfit for two days. One of which was on a plane 😷

Wow! That's an excellent theory. And I think it might explain why she wore the same exact outfit (blue/white stripe off shoulder with white jeans) on the Thursday before Kenny left and then again the very next day.

Re: Reality Show - Radio in the City

I think she gained some weight and those are the only outfits that fit her. I know whenever I've gained a few, i have the same fat clothes on rotate until I lose those lbs.

She's so busy in All The Meetings and doesn't have time for laundry, is my guess.
