Does anyone listen on their computer? I don't have a phone, and listen exclusively online. I've always used the "legacy player". Any time that I tried to use the updated player, it never seemed to work, so I was dismayed to see that Sirius was eradicating the legacy player on Aug 16. So, I have been trying to use the new player for 2 days and it is giving me the technical difficulties message. I have called twice to complain, and they say that they're working on the problem, and that it might be 3-5 days.
WTF??? I am so pissed. I catch up on all my shows on the weekend. I'm wondering if this online player is always shit. I'm considering cancelling, even though I don't want to. I'll miss Jenny M, Reality Checked and WU, but if I can't listen anyway, what's the point?
Thanks for letting me vent, ha,ha,

Usually shit from my experience...Sirius really needs to get their shit together with the online player and the app!!

I'll check which one I use when I get home, but I use it all day at work, then at home and haven't had any issues this week. If it makes a difference on running chrome on a Windows 7 at work, and Mozilla on 10 at home.

I'm so not tech savvy. I use a Mac, and I use Safari, but I don't even know how to switch browsers. I know I'm pathetic.

I listen online every day at work. The legacy player is so much better and easier to use than the new one. They kicked me off the legacy player a few months ago so I have been using the new one. I didn't have any problems listening last week. I pretty much listened to Stars all day on Friday. It's not unusual for me to have to close and restart the player at least once a day though.
I am running Windows 7 at work and can listen through either IE or Chrome.

Thanks FKF. It's the new one, and it's still not working. I'm cancelling tomorrow if it's still not working(that will be 5 days of no access) after 10 yrs of subscribing. I don't even want to cancel, but if I can't listen, I guess I have to!

I'd call or chat with support one last time. It's working fine for me today. Wish I could help you!

Thanks Virginia. I feel like it must be something that I'm doing wrong since I've never used this new player, and others are saying that it's working now for them.

I have a lot of issues with the app. Almost daily, I will be in the middle of a show and it will come up with the error "This channel is no longer available" and stop playing. It drives me insane.

This is exactly what happens to me, literally almost every day since the new and improved player/app launched! So irritating!!

I go to SiriusXM online and hit listen. a player pops up and I'm do dumb to know if I can save it as an app, bit it works. And If I was listening to the SiriusXM App on ly phone or tablet, when I go online it asks if I want to pick up were I left off on another device.
