I go back and forth with MC. There have been times that I've really enjoyed their back and forth but the spelling curse words, "I'm a MOM" schtick did get a little old. I've been listening to old shows and I guess I am really missing the natural, not overly produced banter Tay and Kenny had. I guess it would take some time for that to develop with anyone though.

I only listened Monday and yesterday and did not enjoy Megan for this show. I think she is good on the radio just not this show unless they are changing the direction of the show. I lost track yesterday how many times she said she was 41. We get it Megan, you are a 41 year old mom. She's really hung up on age.

I feel like the longer Megan was on this week, the better they got together. Taylor got much more relaxed in general. They seemed to bond and found their groove. I'm a now a fan of Megan who I'd never heard of previously. I love her Instagram and want to watch her upcoming show. I think today's show is the best so far this week. I love the stories of Tay & Tay's nicknames and relationship. Taylor just seems happy again.

I think the names are super odd/creepy (I find that with a lot of pet names though), but the story is really sweet and love that they have Christmas ornaments!

If Taylor gets a new cohost like Megan it will NOt be Taylor's show anymore. I don't think Taylor can carry her own show.so the name will change of the show. I don't understand if they are doing radio in the city, why doesn't Nicole just cohost.

Whoever cohost with Taylor will def be on the show as well. So they have to be willing and great on tv.

Tay has had cohosts before Kenny and only at the very beginning did she share the title - it used to be Taylor and Tia. After Tia she had male cohost Jim Brewer who was also a comedien with his own following but the show was Wake Up! With taylor. I don't foresee them rebranding just because a new host comes on.

My guess is the new cohost will be a woman however because RITC is intended to focus on women in radio. Although Nicole might be fun addition for a while it wouldn't give the reality show enough diversity. She's in music radio so that's a different perspective for the viewer

Yup. He was before Kenny along with another girl named Sara but it wasn't Sara benincasa from get it bed on Cosmo, a different Sara.

listening to today's show (Friday 9/2) -- does anyone thing Tay is getting a bit snippy and short with MC? i feel like there is a bit of tension, like Tay is already annoyed with her.

Umm definitely. She said she wanted to punch her in the face, and that you only mattered if you had kids. Clearly fed up with all the "I'm a Mom" references. I mean, how could she not be??

It was ages ago. Before Kenny. So 8 years ago? He was funny but be had a mean streak. Kenny was a much Better fit for the show

lol honestly I think MC is a good dose of what Tay needs in her life. The debates they've had have been actual debates.... Where as when it was Kenny Tay would steam roll over any opinion of his until he'd concede in agreement with her.

You can tell Tay is not used to sharing a platform with a woman who is just as if not more accomplished and better at radio than she is. They need to work out the kinks when it comes to interviewing guests because it turns from little tid bits of the hosts being injected into the conversation to keep it moving into a one-up game.....

Now the annoying parts of MC that need some work:
Her (I'm hoping) unintentional condescending tone towards the audience.... We know where/what the hamptons are.
Spelling out "naughty" words.
The playing into tays one up game....there was a male comedian on who the interview ended with the hosts over talking each other. Literally one of the worst interviews I've heard on wake up in a while...
That same male comedian that was on...I really didn't appreciate MC immediately bringing murder rate in Chicago as a point of discussion with a guest who is a person of color. Like why was that her immediate go to? She has a sheltered perspective and view of the world based on her having to explain for all of us middle Americans who don't know what a hamptons is lol.

In a perfect world I would like to see this show evolve with a cohost who is a minority woman or a woman who has experienced real life struggle and made it without the safety net of a rich family/husband. Actually offer some real life perspective to balance tays super privileged p.o.v.

I was so frustrated during Wider Wednesday. The two of them would NOT shut up and we got very little Wider time - did they even allow her to answer one complete question? I had to turn it off and I love me some Wider!

What I heard on my drive in sounded new, some British guy? Haven't listened since I got to work, but it was already better with a guy than anything else I've heard since Kenny left... She def needs a male cohost IMO!!

I liked hearing a guys voice. Tay definitely sounded more comfortable this morning than last week. She just sounded on edge all last week. I just don't see her doing a female co-host. Kinda like Kelly Ripa...never gonna happen.

Rob Shuter from naughtygossip.com. He was also a guest on the show last week. Only heard a very brief part of show (in first hour) when they had on some guy talking about his interview with Shia LaBeouf. I was completely underwhelmed.

I thought the show was good (what I heard) and they were talking about some model who took a photo of someone in her gym locker room and posted it online. They were discussing how she should be punished. Taylor kept saying that anyone who makes mean comments online should be punished (clearly she has a complex) but Rob said no that's not the same as a picture. A picture brings it to a whole new level of invasion of privacy. Taylor kept trying to bring it back to he mean comments she receives online and Rob kept reiterating that it's not the same and that he doesn't pay attention to stupid social media comments. I think the only way taylor will get over this hang up/perception of bullying is if she just ignores the comments. In my mind words cannot even compare slightly to someone photographing me naked and posting online.

I was reading comments on Stassi's IG this weekend and those are MEAN! Taylor will never manage getting that sort of feedback, especially if she were in the state Stassi seems to be in now.

I don't see it as her pawning it off rather than utilizing his expertise. He seemed to enjoy it.
