I actually thought this was fake! Most of the pics are old (ie the one with her wedding ring, the video from the bachelor party, etc) Plus, the author said her videos were VIRAL? In what universe???

In the article, the much repeated story is told of Taylor being discovered in a bar after graduation. Her raspy voice and bubbly personality was noticed by a radio exec nearby.
But we also often hear the story of her and Nicole auditioning for the same radio job and Taylor got it.
I'm sure it all fits together somehow but how? What am I missing? Those always seemed like conflicting stories to explain Taylor's start in radio ???
Eta: I do love her crib style tour of her apartment at the end. She's so relaxed and funny!!

I think this is fake. Or all made up by Matt. I don't think Tay did an interview at all for this. Maybe Matt just played interviewer and interviewee.
I think the story of how she was "discovered" was that she and Nicole were at a bar and an exec overheard them both. Then, I think they both had to go in for an interview/audition and Tay ended up getting it. I wonder why they didn't put them both on together? Maybe they were too good of friends or something.

unrelated....I don't like the person subbing in for Nicole, her voice is just too fresh sounding for the morning. Nicole and Taylor's voices are more soothing and deeper maybe? I can't explain It, they are just easier to listen to.

And I believe Nicole was already working as a receptionist at Sirius, so maybe she was having drinks with work people and asked Tay to join them, and that's when Tay was noticed.

Wtf is this? Is it real or a joke? Does the money to get all of this random press come from Matt's manager salary or straight from Tay?

ding, ding, ding, we have a winner!

She said on Stassi's podcast she hired a PR firm.

I think someone, Matt or PR firm, gave the site a bunch of clips and quotes and answers and it was terribly cut and pasted together. Agree that exercise and fitness is not Taylor's thing and that was a big mess. Taylor's jokes about walking home with the wine bottles, doing lunges down the hall, didn't translate at all. Whoever wrote the article for Women's Fitness needs to find a job that suits their skills better.

Has anyone seen the pictures from her last few events? The bralette is ill fitting. She does not come off as a fashionista in these.
Offline
Yeesh, those outfits... I used to really like her style.
Regarding the fitness article - walking home from work? Lololol. Besides the fact that we know she's driven around, her apartment is a little over 4 miles from the building Sirius is in. I don't know how this article fits her brand at all.
Can she stop saying she's a fashionista? All of her outfits are horrible. She does not dress for her body type. She has no idea what she's doing. Just because you have big boobs doesn't mean you should shove them into a tiny bra and call it fashion. She's sloppy. Why doesn't she get Robert to help her? I don't get it? I guess all stars in the beginning has bad fashion choices though. She just goes on and on about her being so devoted to fashion when she just dials it in.

Looking at those pics, none of them are great. Save for the bachelor party black dress/brown boots, I think her "style" is terrible. Looks like a bunch of "in" things thrown in togeather.

Did anyone else notice how in the "bra" outfit her jacket and pants are a different color white? Don't do it gal!! Mixing and matching suit separates is definitely ok, but the rule is either match perfectly or miss it by a mile (basically if she can't match a white jacket and pants EXACTLY, one piece shouldn't even be white at all).

I wonder if her stylist friends have offered to help but she declines because as a "fashionista", she should be able to dress herself. Kind of hard to call yourself a fashion blogger if someone else pulled the outfit together for you- it's basically stealing someone else's work. Even if that's not the reason, if she's declined the offer once it might be awkward since they're also her friends to keep asking because it might seem like they're trying to tell her she needs the help....lol how long before Robert can't take it anymore and gives her a makeover?

After the boob dress, Robert said he had offered, and why hadn't she taken him up on it. I thought it would come up today, Kelly Cutrone had commented on IG she told Taylor to wear the red.

I always read the forum but can never remember my password to log in and post! I find all the comments so entertaining!
Anyways, yes that story was ridiculous. I got the wine joke but unless it's a fitness satire publication, it falls flat. I loved seeing pics of Tay throughout the years on the Getty website. I do not like her style though. That one picture of her in the sand/pinkish outfit- she looks huuuuge! And she's not. If you look at her in that outfit compared to her in blue pantsuit you can see how unflattering a loose fit on her can be. Her waist is so trim I don't know why she would wear loose flowy tops and bottoms. Also, everyone knows Capri pants make you look short and dumpy. I cringe when I see those. They remind me of the early 2000s too which is when they were in style. As Oprah said the only ppl those flatter are tall skinny girls. My fave outfit is the black skirt with brown boots. So cute and timeless! And the hair! You can really see it hasn't changed in years. If you want to keep it long fine but do updos or style it or something!!!!

I think she's trying to be more risky with her choices. If you look at the older pictures, she in head to toe black in every single one. I like the navy jumpsuit a lot. Just wish she'd stop with the jacket on the shoulder thing. It was summer time for gods sake! And agree about the capris, especially the really loose fitting ones. T2 can probably pull that off because she's so tall and thin but not great on a shorter person.

I am not a fan of her style. It's so frumpy. I wish she would just embrace her body and wear better fitting outfits. I too loved the jumpsuit, but that stupid jacket! Stop trying to always hide behind your clothes. I like that she took a risk with the white dress, but it fell flat because it was not flattering. She's surrounded by fabulous style, with access to beautiful clothing stores, so really there's no excuse. And she's friends with Robert Verdi and Kelly Cutrone! Come on, girl.

My favorite is the long black belted blazer. To me she looks great in that. I like her Diane Keaton outfits. I'm not a fan of her overly sexual stuff.

Love the blazer too

The only thing I could focus on from the getty images is how her foundation is way too dark and orange in the pics with the pink background. She should not hire those makeup people again.

One of the pics towards the bottom does not even include Taylor. Her skin is a bit oily, and the lighting is difficult to work with, but she does not have one wrinkle. I'm jealous! Anyone know what procedure she said she had done to her face that changed her life?

She said Dr. Anolik did some type of a laser treatment to her face that changed everything. Now I can't tell you exactly what type that was, but I'm sure it was free (hence his ongoing spots that are killing me on the show!) plus she's still getting 'botox for her blinkies' (hmmm...I'll not comment here) from her 'my dad is a doctor' from HAAAAAVAAAAD. I'm guessing they are in her forehead and crow's eye area?? LOL....jk. I'm sure she needs them but not sure where....

I work in ophthalmology. I really find it hard to believe that she has "blephaorospasm" which is why you get botox. Insurance pays for it though if you have the medical diagnosis.....

Is that what she's always saying (when she pulls out her medical term for 'the blinkies'??) I know it usually starts with "hemi" something... But when your dad is a doc, who knows? He could write her an RX for anything, right?
Speaking of...what happened to his Botox practice in NYC? We haven't heard about that in awhile...along with weworks!!

I do believe that she has that facial spasm. She said that she had to see a neurologist and a psychiatrist when she was young because they couldn't figure out why she had that facial tic.

Randomly, my dog had a corneal perforation that ruptured last week (partially why I've been MIA from the board lately!) I had to take him to a veterinarian ophthalmologist and as I was reading his d/c summary it said "intermittent blepharospasms" and all I heard in my head was Taylor screeching hemi-facial blepharospam!!
Side note: Pup is healing up well! 🐶👍🏼
