Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I agree. Zach sounds like he's totally spoiled and Babette is delusional. It makes me mad that she mocked Brett, especially because it was her daughter's husband, and I think Taylor was already struggling to respect him. The way Taylor spoke about him on air sometimes made me cringe.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

Omg. She's telling the "poop speckle" story AGAIN on Stassi's podcast. This time, it was with a guy she was "dating". So nasty. I hate this story. I think this was twice in one week that she told it.

About a year before the divorce rumours started circulating I was thinking that. It made me so uncomfortable to listen to, I wondered how he dealt and thought they must of had a pretty rock solid marriage for him to be ok with it.

Why would you NOT tell Babette? I would want to know so I could clean it right away and get the stain out easier. Who wants to keep nasty BBQ sauce on a pillow? It sounds to me Zach is the prodigal son here and if he wants to wife sauce on a pillow then that's ok!

For me, its just the way she tells the story. Zach did it and Brett went running downstairs to her. I can't imagine my boyfriend doing that! I could totally see him telling me "Hey, did you see what A just did?" and I would give him crap, and probably tell my parents at some point. No one is running off to tell on him though, that's what kills me!

I agree. And I'm also mad that I didn't make my username PoopSpeckle.

I might be from the Sunshine State, but I can still be a little shady.🌴

Funny how we all picture it differently haha. I always imagined it was an open floor plan and Babette was in the kitchen basically in the same room. So Brett just yelled over at Babette that zack just wiped his face on the pillow. Either way, it sounded like just a funny thing. No big deal.

The way you're picturing it, Zara, I could totally see happening! No idea why I always assumed he went to a different part of the house lol

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I remember Taylor telling it as Brett running downstairs..at least one of the times she told it. I had the same visual.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

These Babette stories give me glimpses into why Taylor is the way she is.  Her mom making the issue about Brett instead of her son using a pillow as a napkin.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

If I hear the story about how she went to "The Ring", and all she could focus on were Naomi Watt's legs again, I will scream. I'm not kidding, I feel like she's told that story every single day for the last week!
Also, how the Kardashians have advanced body acceptance. Really?? So now we're supposed to get butt implants and wear waist trainers?!

Omg, I was watching the kardahsians yesterday (don't judge) and as I'm watching them, Im thinking about Taylor saying they are helping women because of their bodies. They have blown up lips, huge asses, tiny waists, huge boobs. Lydia, I think you mentioned this before which made me think of it but you're so right! It's absurd!

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

Someone else put it so eloquently-I can't remember who, but I couldn't agree more.
And PS, I don't judge. I've been known to watch, and actually feel envious of their family dynamic. One thing I'll give them credit for, is how close they've managed to stay as they've gotten older and left the family home.

I think the same thing! I don't think they're unlikeable. If you sit down and actually watch the show its kind of nice how much they all love and support each other. That's amazing that they don't get jealous of each others success and that they share the spotlight with each other so easily. Unlike the housewives. I mean the kardahsians are pretty air headed but hey they love each other.

I mean the kardahsians are fine. But they clearly get lots of plastic surgery. How can that be considered as setting a positive example for women's body images?

I like watching the Kardashians!! I think they are all beautiful. And half of hollywood has had plastic surgery. And non hollywood, I know of a lot of regular people with boob and nose jobs.

I must be sheltered. I can't think of anyone I know who's had a boob or nose job. Actually I just thought of an unconfirmed boob job. Haha.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

I just don't think Taylor is accurate in saying that they are doing good things for positive body image, if they're modifying their bodies, because obviously they don't feel good enough as they are.

I never want to hear 'what percentage, do yu think?' She says that all the time. And then takes the guess for fact. It's annoying.

Re: Topics you never want to hear mentioned again

Can I add Billy Bush to this list? I don't care that he got fired w/a 10 million dollar bonus. I don't care that he can't sell his fancy pants apartment that he never lived in. I'm sorry that he was dumb and said those things with Trump. Maybe he didn't deserve to get fired, but WHO CARES. He is a rich, frat boy...he will find another job! let it go!!! ...okay, rant over.

YUP!

When is the last time Taylor talked about something from her current life? Not major stuff like the divorce/T2, but random shit like the above or the bleached teeth story someone just mentioned in another thread. I get she doesn't want to be as open about her relationship as she has in the past, but it seems like she NEVER talks about her current life anymore. It's weird, and makes for a boring show.

I agree. And if she mentions anything about her life now, it's always about what shows she and TD are currently watching. I really miss the days when she would talk about her life. It was so entertaining.

Today was the first day I thought that 😏 I hate mean girls but every single conversation about it is the exact same because there's only so far you can go with this topic.
