I do agree that putting your hand over someone's mouth definitely crosses the line. I started to see a side of Clay that I didn't love during the last show that he co-hosted. The two of them were slut shaming through the whole show, and he was as bad as Taylor. And then when he was talking about calling the cops on the kids next door who were partying-I don't know, his smugness just bothered me.

omg I forgot about that! I even posted about that on the "today's show" thread after that show. It was awful the last time he was on, so much slut shaming. like i said something about him bothers me. I'm not even a huge fan of Kelly Ripa's but still I would have been mortified if that was done to me. So disrespectful. His attitude toward women bothers me. He quickness to judge and slut shame worries me.

I think most of the cohosts are getting to the point that they are comfortable and are all giving Tay a hard time, and being more open and honest. Sometimes Clay does come across as a bit... harsh? Smug? Rude? But I still love him and think he's hilarious. Rob can be the same way at times.

I agree that both Clay and Rob seem to be more comfortable in the role of a true "co-host" and not a "guest host" as I think some might want to treat or see them as. I noticed that Rob especially will respond to callers when Taylor says, "Hey girl hey" repeating the same thing (which I kind of think shows a bit of ownership in what he's doing).
I like that Taylor has co-hosts that challenge her as it makes for a lively show. If I read on here that Clay is on, I'll listen for sure.
And I have to disagree with you micdrop...when Clay said he would call the police again on underage drinkers who were leaving in cars to drive drunk, I had to stand up and clap for him. I'm not sure what goes on in the minds of parents who allow kids (or even adults at their house) of any age to drink and drive. If you have a party like that, put the keys in a bucket and they spend the night or no drinking. 😬

I said that about the underage drinkers. And I agree, that it's not ok. I guess it was his delivery that turned me off. Too much schadenfreude(taking pleasure in the misfortune of others).

I didn't say anything about the underage drinking. I actually think he did the right thing on calling the police. That conversation didn't bother me at all.

I listened to the Clay episode and watched the video clip. I don't think it was as bad as I initially thought reading the comments here. Overall I still like Clay as a co-host.
Actually I'm pretty happy with all of them..... I just wish Emma wouldn't backtrack on an opinion when Tay tries to push her POV (like she used to do with Kenny) and I need Lori to tone down the Babette fandom a few notches. It's no longer a casual mention a show but multiple mentions per show hour.

I agree with the Lori vs. Babette thing...ugh. I thought it was just me so I never mentioned it but it's to the point of barfdom. Talk about up her butt!

I agree...the Lori and Babette thing is getting weird now lol

According to Annabelle's Instagram she'll be back on WUWT June 13th!

Lori is wearing on me. She has a whiny intonation that comes out a lot and I find myself tuning out when she's on now. I LOVE Rob but I get the feeling that Taylor dislikes working with him...

I really liked Lori in the beginning...probably most. But now I tune her out as well. She's stopped forming her own opinion about things.

Lori does offer a different perspective, though. She's at a different stage of her life than Taylor (married with kids). That's nice to hear, too. It makes me feel as though I haven't totally outgrown the show.
