Ugh. Our cable bill was ridiculous so we cancelled HBO! I'm so bummed.
There's podcast episodes about this story and I read about it online... so crazy.
Is it a documentary or docu series?
What's the podcast it is on? I need a little teaser fix while at work.

Ugh! I knoooowww! Everyone talks about Firestick.
I need to do that! We were going to ask our little cousin, haha he's 13 and more savvy than me, to do it, but since there are videos, looks like I'm doing it on my own!
Thanks guys!

The other day my fiancé saw me checking this site on my phone and threw me shade. "I thought you didn't listen to that show anymore", he scoffed. I replied that I don't but I still like to be informed.... but have felt weird about it ever since. Does anyone frequent this page that doesn't listen?
I enjoy the subtopics and I like to hear the gossip. Sue me! haha

I listened sporadically for about the last 6 months, but now that the Twitter link is dead I don't listen at all so you're not alone. 😊

I watched the first half of MDD last night- all I can say is WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK?! The Munchausen's stuff is the least of it, I died at the wigs and other details about her and the boyfriend.

Have you gotten to the part where DeeDee's Dad and stepmom talk about what to do with her ashes??? 😳😳😳

Nah, I only listen when I've listened to all of Jenny's shows. I basically come on here for the same reasons as you

Hah, yes! The family resemblance among these people is crazy- is it just me, or are all of their eyes super close together?

I only listen when I hear someone I am interested in is on, and that's been a while. Does she have celebrity guests on anymore?

This isn't the exact video I used because the software changes every so often and they make a new video to reflect the updates steps/menus, but it's buy the same guy and he's easy to follow.
It can be a bit buggy sometimes, and I'm far from a tech genius- but as I understand it here's how all of this works/some tips that might help:
You download apps in the firestick just like you would on your phone. The first step is to download a file installer app, then inside that app you download something called Kodi (so like an app within an app, I guess). Once you're in Kodi, you can install "add-ons." These are the Netflix-like things that let you actually watch stuff. There are a bunch, but I've only bothered with Exodus and haven't had the need for any others. The navigation is a little clumsy and takes some getting used to, but I think it's well worth the effort for all the free content. If you start experiencing problems, check for updates to the Kodi app and/or Exodus add on. I've had to re-install everything once since I've had it in the last 5 months because it just wasn't working.
Probably the most annoying thing about Exodus is that it doesn't have any sort of "favorites" list to save things to, but you can install another add on that lets you have a list. Definitely do this, it makes using Exodus so much better. It's called "Trakt"- here's instructions for that:
Create an account here first:

Let me know if you need any help!

I should add that you'll notice an "add to favorites" option in Exodus, but it literally does nothing. After you install Trakt, you'll have a new option that says "Trakt manager", click that, then "add to watch list".

i just watched Mommy Dead and Dearest. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?! This world is full of sick fucks. Omg. I'm so disturbed.
I don't know what is real anymore.
Thank you for the recommendation. You all have the best recommendations for shows and podcasts- keep them coming!

Watched last night, I was a little disappointed, I think they could have done a lot more with it. Maybe because I already knew the story? I said to DB though, the costumes for him was fricken odd. Where did she get those and who took the photos????And her first time having sex, dragged him into a movie theatre bathroom?? Ahh, nope...something else was up.

I had no idea what to expect, so no disappointment here. Just complete horror. The feeding tube?! Every doctor (other than the one who caught on to DeeDee's bullshit) that performed surgery or prescribed medication to Gypsy should be sued.
Where/how did she get the clothes for her slutty internet pics. Her mom was dressing her in cabbage patch doll wigs and glasses from 1982. Was there ever a deeper investigation into what happened to Gypsy Rose? I wouldn't be surprised if there is some creepy child molestation/trafficking side to the whole disgusting saga.

Yeah, definitly something else going on. You don't go from being a sheltered 15 year old to cosplay I wouldn't think? And that whole "I'll hand you the knife when you walk in, and oh by the way I'm painting my nails a dark pink!" was super weird. She was either incredibly detached, or much morem into killing Mommy then she claims.

Has anyone seen or read "these something wrong with aunt Diane"? It's another messed up real life story. It's on YouTube if anyone wants to watch.
Any others? I love stuff like this!

I watched that- such a heartbreaking story.
Just started The Keepers on Netflix.
It's about the murder of a nun and cover-up of a priest accused of abusing children

It was a good documentary and there are SO MANY podcasts on it... but in all honestly, she was a drunk and that father is delusional. A tooth abscess?! I hated him. He put so much time and effort into proving the toxicology wrong when his poor son needs that attention.

The whole thing broke my heart. The poor little boy being the only one surviving, her brother and sister in law losing all their kids, hubby so set on it not being her. I wonder if she actually drank and he was hiding it, or she was just a closet drunk that hid it really well? I go back and forth thinking she thought she could handle the booze, or she was on an insane suicide mission.

Oh yes, it's so absolutely heartbreaking. I can't imagine it.
I wonder about it all the time....
I think they were both partiers. One of my theories is, maybe she was hung over from the night before, and drank the vodka for hair of the dog in hopes she would feel better. I cannot think of why she would drink SO much though.
