I think Taylor must be different than how she portrays herself on the show. Or maybe she ramps it up for the show because bigger personalities=bigger ratings? I really loved the show a few years ago and loved her as a result. It's just sooooo different now. So maybe a lot of it is just not caring and being loud and boisterous to garner a certain audience. I think it would be hard to be yourself all the time without going a little crazy.

Idk, I think she exaggerates and has a different persona on air so she isn't boring (remember first cosmo radio day?- snooze). Sometimes I think she is like she is on air so she is entertaining. I also think the summer house incident was done purposefully to get noticed by producers. I'm sure she'd love to be a cast member.
She may be a completely different person off air. I also think she exaggerates her feuds with friends. Just a theory

I wish we could like posts....totally agree with all of you!
I think the Taylor we hear on the radio is the true Taylor. You can't fake who You are for 3 to 4 hours a day for 10'years.

But I didn't think she used to be like that. It's only been the past maybe 3 years that I have found her to be this person. However maybe it's rose colored glasses and I didn't listen that intently for the first 7 years.

Same, I've only found her hard to listen to since mid-marriage...loved her up till then. To be fair though, I haven't listened with any consistency since last summer.

OMG....Per usual, Taylor's obnoxious snobbyness comes out talking shit about the home the tv family on Roseanne lived in. Memo to Taylor....Most people live like that.....Most people don't have a rich daddy surgeon or a mother who comes from money.

Back to the clothes thing---she is STILL convinced she is a top fashionista. She even made the comment to Rob S. on Thursday that she is "always ahead of the trends." I actually talked to my phone (I was listening to OnDemand) and said, "How in the hell are you ahead of the trends when you wear the same things every damn time???" Seriously?? She also said if she couldn't do the job she was in, she would work in fashion. I'm certain she doesn't have a mirror most days...
Here's my mystery question- she's always complaining how broke she is and how she can't afford to buy new clothes, why can't one of her legions of minions figure out that not drinking a bottle of Prosecco (or whatever her fancy wine is) every night would both save her $$$ and calories?? It would be a double whammy...she could buy new clothes and her diet would benefit. Simple solution.

I'm really starting to get very turned off to the show again. Think I have to stop listening for a while. I skip all of the segments with doctors. Skip foodie finds. And do we have to have a surprise me topic every day? Make it a once a week thing. Maybe spend more time working on making the show better and less time watching television and drinking Persecco

Why does Taylor refure to say Nicole's (Morning Mashup) name on her show??? When she was talking about managers, I don't understand why Taylor said "I have a friend....not going to call her out....who is also in radio and who looks the opposite of me." Call her out???? All your saying is that she has a manager. You're not saying anything bad or divulging anything personal about Nicole. On Nicole's web site it gives contact info for booking her. For the life of me, I don't understand why she can't say Nicole's name. Everybody who listens to the show knows that Taylor is referencing Nicole. Maybe I should submit that for a topic of the day.

Sorry for all the posts in a role, but the show is driving me nuts. I don't think I like Lori. She is uninteresting and seems like she trys to say the perfect thing all the time. Just not a fan. Yeah, think I will be taking that break from the show.
Carly is the best. I like Emma. Clay is really good. Don't like Rob. Just seems slimmy to me. Thoughts?

One last take....I promise. Taylor not knowing that Nicole had gotten a manager, just shows how much their friendship has waned. Nicole was always tagged as Taylor's "best friend." She wasn't even Nicole....Taylor would call her Colie. Not surprised since Taylor pushs all her friends away at some point.

OMG...OMG...OMG....Matt's networking?????? Matt's dad is some big time entertainment agent. That house in the Hampton's that Taylor is always going to is Matt's parents house.
Sorry Taylor, but networking is not having a friend from college (Nicole) who happened to get work at Sirius. Note that the word "work" is in networking. Knowing Nicole from college was not any work on your part. You were just incredibly lucky and knew a person who got a job at Sirius from the start of the company and then got even luckier when they were looking for a fresh young face for a new show. And it doesn't hurt when your rich parents are paying most of your rent to b/c I'm sure Sirus was paying you crap when you first started. I bet Taylor considers having rich parents "networking".
Now I am done. Sorry for hating today but this girl is just delusional and a jackass.

Its never been a secret that was Matts house in the Hamptons. I think his Dad is maybe a music producer? I think being Taylors "manager" (assuming its not a paid position??) is so he can show his parents he's working. That is not saying anything against Matt, you have to start somewhere and get your name out and I think that's exactly what he has done with Taylor. He really hustled her last summer. I would assume its pretty disheartening to work with someone with zero ambition though, especially because Matt seems to be quite a go getter.
Nicole hustles, and I think that's what has pushed apart the friendship. She's busy with work, two kids, a marriage, she speaks at events, does a lot of product (I think the kids whole nursery was products she was involved with!) reps and just generally seems really busy with life. I would think Taylor feels a little fruitless around her. Just my impression of the friendship.

I was wondering... Does anyone like Foodie Finds? I don't. Taylor said today that she knows they get a lot of complaints about it, so I guess I can't understand why they keep doing so many. My assumption is always that Taylor gets some sort freebie out of featuring local restaurants... Like a free drink, comped meal, last minute reservation, whatever. I don't mind the occasional food segment, but I think it makes a lot more sense when they have people on that sell/ship nationwide. Taylor seems to think we need these segments so we know where to eat in NYC. No, Taylor, that's what the internet is for. OR she could just tell us she went to some amazing restaurant and recommend we go there. I don't need to hear her smack her lips and grunt.
Having said that, I do enjoy some of the cocktail segments, maybe because I feel like they are something people can try to recreate at home? I think the Muddling Memories guy is pretty cool, and there have been a few others that haven't bothered me.

I think I actually don't mind Foodie Finds only because I'm often in NYC. I do hate listening to people eat on air though and feel like the segment is a filler because they can't think of something more creative.
I hate to compare because they are completely different shows and audiences but Jenny McCarthy has multiple segments that are just fun and silly. They get people engaged without having local restaurants and the same doctors every week. Sure she's a bit loony and a bunch of her guests are too. But it keeps your guessing.

Does anyone else think the Selena Gomez song she plays all the time sounds like the Fraggle Rock theme song?

I've said this before, but it would be helpful if there was a compilation of the foodie finds and what they liked or didn't like from the places. Or if they even just put the name of the restaurant and a picture on Facebook, it would help. At least we could see what the food looks like since we can't taste it. it also bothers me that whenever a listener asks for this type of info, no one from the show usually responds. If anyone answers, it's another listener.

Re: Matt - I believe (my opinion) that Taylor has hired him as her personal assistant, and any other work he gets her is gravy.
As far as I can tell the only paying job that he has gotten her in 2 years is the Younger Facebook Live gig.
If he were a manager why would he only be working with Taylor?

Matt's dad is Van Toffler. Former president of MTV. Matt doesn't need a real job or a real client.

Semi-baseless thought but I think her and Nicole's relationship is waning because Tay talks a lot of shit about Nicole's husband on the radio.
Anyone catch her on Monday refer to a male friend who gives her a lot of shit making an IG comment about her wearing a jean jacket in NY July?
It was Matt

Big difference between needing and wanting to work. I get the impression he wants to do something of his own.
