I imagine it's not a good look for Taylor to miss work almost every week after Getting Younger. She talks about wanting to pick up extra work and earn more, but she's showing she can't handle it.
Isn't this the first Thursday she's missed since Getting Younger started? Maybe she was off last Thursday for the Goddess Getaway, I can't remember.

Just listened to Wednesday's episode on demand....was there no Dr. wider? Did she say why?

Maybe I'm wrong. I feel like she was "sick" recently since starting Getting Younger.
Accidentalfarts - I don't think Taylor said anything about Dr. Wider. I usually listen to her segment on Just Jenny every Tuesday and she wasn't on there this week either. Hopefully she's back next week!

This is at least the 2nd, possibly 3rd, Thursday she's missed since starting Getting Younger. She said she was out on a Thursday earlier this month because of Goddess Girls. The retreat didn't start til Friday though so...
I wish they'd move Rob to a different day. He's one of my favorites.

Move Rob to Wed. and Lori to Thursday. Maybe that will give Taylor some incentive to come in, since she seems to love her sooooo much. 🙄 Blech. I can't stand her. But I love Rob!

I agree! I didn't mind Lori in the beginning but now I'm bored with her. I'm so sick of her raspy voice screaming, "I loooove your mom!"

Rob drives me nuts because he's just not very authentic at all and he back tracks a lot but I do like how he's not 2 feet up Taylor's ass like Lori is. I really used to like Lori but she just kisses Taylor's ass way too much. I thought she was WAY too rude to the guys during those segments. They were good segments (although slightly off brand for the guys) but Lori took it too far. I think she got wind of how Taylor perceives Babchick (sp?) and tried to be cool but she just went too hard with "hating him". I have a feeling after about a year of rotating co hosts they will probably pick one. If this is the case I hope its carly or Emma. I love a comic's point of view on things. Comics have an authenticity and quick wit that is hard to match. That's what I miss about the show and why I miss Kenny so much. I laughed so hard the last hour of Tuesdays show when Carly and her BF were playing the game and then Kenny came on. I also thought it was awesome of Carly to take a back seat to Kenny and left him have some air time. Very respectful of Carly.

Also, I can't believe she's not there today!!! and since there's no co host we don't have a show at all just a replay. So annoying! GIRL GET IT TOGETHER. It does NOT look good for her to miss her main gig just because of another gig. She has been complaining about being sick a lot lately but still, sometimes you have to WOMAN up and get the job done!!!
oh and I missed Dr Wider on Wednesday! There isn't a new podcast episode either so idk whats up.

I agree with you guys! It really does slight Rob and it's not fair to him or his brand and what he's there to promote. I wish they would just have Rob on his own when she calls out after a "long night" at her other job. He deserves it.
Taylor needs to learn how to be more responsible on her late nights at Younger. Instead of hanging out with the crew after the show and probably having one two many glasses of wine she should call it a night and go home. We all know she's not there because she's too tired; she's too hung over!

I haven't listened to Taylor a lot since the twitter link went down, I have XM in my car but my commute is only 10 min and I used to listen while I was getting ready in the morning to the link. Well I tuned in this morning and she was bragging about how evil she can be when she gets in a fight, even comparing herself to Vicki on RHOC, disgusting.

Listening to the show now.....just heard Taylor and Lori talking about the Jay-Z story with his lyrics. I'm not a PC soldier. I think people are way to sensitive. Although I didn't like Jay-Z's lyric about Jewish people owning all the property, I'm not going to make a huge deal about it. I don't think he meant it in an anti-semetic way. But I do believe it was a stupid lyric. Jay-Z is super talented and I'm sure could have come up with something else. Its rap/hip-hop. Its supposed to be edgey (sp), and rapper always exaggerate but lets not promote stereotypes.
What annoyed me more than anything, was Taylor and Lori's discussion about the story. 1) it annoyed when Taylor made the comment that "oh the Anti-Defamation League....that's a big one to take on.....just say your sorry and move on." So basically, Taylor is implying that the ADL is using their influence to pressure Jay-Z, and put him in an impossible place so that he should just apologize, even if he doesn't mean it. 2) Taylor and Lori saying that it's a good/positive thing that Jay-Z was saying that Jewish people own all the property. WTF. Such a stupid statement by both of them. These two can't be dumb enough to believe that when a person says that Jews own all the property that they are giving a compliment. 3) Lori making it about her and saying that people may have asked her if she is in the mafia. If that did occur, that's a ridiculous thing she had to deal with. But its not the same. This is a very negative stereotype that white supremacists and neo-nazis publicly state. Nobody publicly states that they believe that all Italian people are in the mafia. And this is even dumber to say after what happened in Charlottesville.
Maybe I'm a bit sensitive after what happened in Charlottesville. IDK. But this is just how I felt.

Jay Z was saying it is possible to overcome having something fucking atrocious happen to you and you can have and create generational wealth even despite that. He legit lays out a blueprint for generational wealth....
People need to listen to the whole album and not cherry pick it to bitch about.

Hey SoftPretzels.....I actually agree with you. I don't have the album. Haven't listened to the song. I wrote that comment on a WUWT forum about comments that Taylor and Lori said when discussing the story about Jay-Z's lyric. I'm not pissed about the lyric but rather Taylor and Lor's approach.

Agree with you ladies...my problem with Taylor is that she is a headline reader only. Soooo much prep for the show supposedly, but she proves day after day, she doesn't research shit. She had no idea what the point of that story even was, and I am shocked that she's ever heard of the ADL (although I wouldn't be surprised if she thought the ADL was the ACLU). Anyway, thoughts on today's show:
1. How much spit and slobber is flying around that studio??? Ugh disgusting. Slow down your speech, take a breath, and freaking swallow your saliva...good god her mouth noises are GROSS.
2. Taylor talking about other people's work ethic and being spoiled was crazytown. Ummm if I were an adult and my parents were paying my rent and credit cards, etc., I would die of embarrassment.
3. How about we stop saying "you go Glen Coco" when you're a fucking 35-yr old woman?
4. Hearing Rebecca Minkoff throw shade at Taylor's style was epic 😏

Sorry if my post was unclear. I too was directing it also at their "basic white chick* commentary. I have serious issue with people coming from a place of privilege, who've never experienced actual hardship being critical of those who have experienced things they could never imagine. They are legit pulling a single line from a beautiful, eye-opening album

Oh boy, sounds like she is on a roll today- I'm behind this week and still listening to yesterday's episode on demand so I haven't even gotten to the Jay Z stuff yet....yikes. But I'll tell ya, she managed to offend me twice in a 20 minute period in yesterday's show- she once again took a potshot at where I live yet again. She was talking about the solar eclipse and said something about "well I guess if you live in one of these "fly over states" maybe you actually liked this thing" or something to that effect. I just want to ask her sometime, where does this hate and contempt for the entire mid-west/western half of the country come from? She has done that so many times- I'm like, uh, you have listeners all over the country, madame. Maybe don't shit on people who don't live in NY all the time? It's just irritating, she thinks she is so much better than everyone for living in New York City? Then, she said she is agnostic, not atheist, because she's not a total dick. Well, I'm an atheist and and I would bet every dime in my bank account right now that she has chronically been a bigger dick to people than I ever have been. So, again, could she just stop the judging and remember her listeners are all kinds of different people, with all different kinds of lives? She can have her opinion on things but I wish she wasn't so damned judge-y all the time....those who live in glass houses and all that. She just goes in a little too hard on things/places/ideas she doesn't know much about.

That piiiiiiiiissed me off! We get it, you're such a New Yorker. Welp, guess what... some people have NO desire whatsoever to be a New Yorker. I love Wisconsin, and will probably never live anywhere else. Don't want to. So shut the fuck up about "flyover states." (Remember how Hillary lost? She ignored some of those "flyover states"--Wisconsin and Michigan) Disclaimer: This was not meant to start anything political, but rather make a point about how Taylor was an asshole yesterday .
ALSO, on Monday, didn't she and Emma talk about how they really don't "plan" anything for the show? Tay made mention of how some days she has to make sure Katie sets up the board because she's running late and might not make it in time. After that I think there was discussion of how nothing is really planned/they have talking points but beyond that it's pretty whatever.
I've tried to stick up for Taylor in the past, but Jesus, girl, give me something to work with. There's absolutely nothing to defend her with anymore.

Agree with all of that, and fellow atheist here. Regarding the "flyover" states, I think she would put Pittsburgh in that bucket, so I wonder what Kenny/Chelsea think of that? I also don't think she realizes that tons of NYC residents were not born and raised there, but came from all over, including flyover states. The part about the eclipse made me think of Kenny, I bet he was super into it because he was always excited about "space" stories in the 7 Things.
Can someone fill me in on what Rebecca Minkoff said about Taylor?

I think Taylor said she likes everything to be match matchy and monochromatic, and a Rebecca said, "oh you're one of those people. I'm sorry."
On another note, I hate all the Rob Shuter disses. It seems like a joke taken too far.
