That interview was so cringe worthy. I mean, get it together, you're making a fool of yourself. I felt so bethos listening to it. I agree, I was thinking how, the hell are you going to interview a Real Housewife if you haven't watched the show??? I mean, I think there have only been 4 episodes of Dallas this season. It wouldn't take long to quickly brush up on what's been going on. It's not like the Dallas Housewife has past work that they could talk about.

Oh, and how do you think Rob feels if he's listening when you talk about how horrible he is and are constantly bashing him??

Ugh, hearing her talk about her disgust towards menstruating women is just deplorable. I agree, how can she hate women so much, especially when she's always trying to wave her so called feminist flag?
Side note, where has Robert Verdi been lately? I miss him!
I actually tried to call in today about this, I was so irritated. People that work normal jobs can't just up and leave without telling anyone, regardless of the reason. If you're expected be at your job and you need to leave to change your clothes (valid reason) but you're still going to have to tell someone that you're leaving (probably your supervisor), and they are probably going to ask you why you need to leave in the middle of your work day. It's not like this lady probably wanted to have to explain to her boss what happened....not sure why Taylor was acting like the lady was shouting her predicament from the rooftops...she most likely HAD to tell her boss so she could leave to change. Nothing more, nothing less. God she is so out of touch with reality....
Also, SA - AGREED!! that fashion song is the fucking dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life... can't stand the fashion week crap anyway, but that song is truly unbearable...
LD- I think you got a special hater shout out today 🙋🏻OMG- I'm behind on the show today; what did she say about Lydia???
Also, who was the co-host who she had the hot dog argument with? I remember the argument but can't for the life of me remember who that was- does anyone else remember? Obviously someone who stopped being invited back....
And yeah, where is Robert Verdi?? I miss him, too- she hasn't even mentioned him in awhile, I wonder if something happened with his mother and he has had to be gone. But it's weird that he is gone with no mention of it.
I hated the period discussion, too- it's not gross, it's just a natural thing we all have to deal with. I wish she hadn't dogged on that woman, too; it's so mean.
I was just listening to this show OnDemand and my guess the 'hot dog' fight was with former co-host Megan Coloroso. She was a mom; she always talked about it; was very opinionated about it; and we haven't heard a thing about her since her little stint.

ha,ha Wakeupfan. I didn't take it too personally, because most of the CosmoCon women can't stand her, but at least I actually still listen, and truth be told, really enjoy the show. I did tell her on the WU page, that the "honey" and "girl" were obnoxious.
I saw this on the FB page! I've noticed Taylor copies the way Carly says "gurllll" all the time and it drives me crazy!
She also copies Stassi's intonation from time to time. Listen to Stassi's podcast once and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
There were a few co-hosts du jour that I thought were hilarious and would have been great in the rotation but we never heard from them again. Did anyone else hear the day that Kerry Coddett was on and did her impression of Kenya's dad from RHOA? I was dying.

Did anyone else think she was a little overboard and borderline crazy (dare I say "unprofessional") when Taylor Kitsch came in last Tuesday? I almost turned it off as I felt uncomfortable for him...
You can tell that Clay and Rob actually do research on who is coming in as it often comes out when they are talking during the shows. They will make a comment like, "When I saw it on the rundown sheet..." and go on with information regarding where the guest was originally from, or more specific information. It begs the question: What is it that Taylor is working so HARD on each afternoon and evening to prep for the show, if it's not that? Is it googling The Daily Mail to get her worn-out 7 Things topics? (Is it my imagination or are those happening more than they used to?)
Hah I don't know, but I endured the last podcast she did with Annabelle and she said that the other day she "slept from 4pm to 10pm, woke up to eat dinner, took one of her pills and went back to bed and almost overslept for the show." She wasn't sick, and this was a weekday. I don't know many busy, hard working people who get to sleep for 12+ hours on a week day.

Yes FKCSTMom! I couldn't remember her name, but it was Megan Coloroso. She was beyond annoying and obnoxious the way she referenced being a Mom every 10 seconds. I don't blame Tay for feeling the way she did. She came off as very superior and condescending. I was terrified that she was going to make the cut, because I could not stand her.

YES! Her impression of Kenya's dad was perfect! I remember laughing so hard that day.

Yikes--a little bathos when Kirsten Dunst and the people from Rodarte (?) came in and Taylor started with the Fashion Never Stops song and began asking questions about fashion week. They had to say something like, "were not here about fashion week. We're here to promote a movie." Did Eric Stonestreet teach her nothing?

So embarrassing... Someone needs to take that song away.

I need Taylor to stop doing her ethnic accents. They are offensive and the least funny.

Where does T live again?? I was in NYC this past weekend and as we were wandering around Soho, I couldn't help but wonder. Especially after our friend told us apts average $12k/month in Soho.
Oh and I really tried to find the previous discussion, but the search feature here sucks!

You're friend is mistaken. Median rent for all apartments in Soho is $3600 according to streeteasy. A 1br or a studio which I believe she says she lives probably averages close to 3k if the median for apartments of all sizes is $3600. Assuming Taylor makes around 120-150K after all of her other hustle work she does on the side. She's totally living within her means spending between 15-20% of her income on rent. Don't understand why everyone's so critical of a 30 year old woman, kicking ass for her age bracket, and totally capable of being self sufficient without any alimony.

taylorluvr - I think a lot of people just get annoyed with Taylor complaining about how she's "poor" all the time when she's clearly doing pretty well. She should be proud of being able to support herself in NYC! I live outside DC and sometimes I think my friends pay crazy rent, but then I remember I spend close to $1000 on car expenses (gas, insurance, registration, taxes, etc...) each month.

Highly doubt she makes that much at Sirius + 12 wks of a 20min FB Live show. Pretty sure her "blog" isn't raking in the dough... SA hit the nail on the head, no one gives a shit what she spends, it's her money, but constantly bitching about being poor when you live in a $3-4K/mo apartment is fucking annoying as hell. Also, a settlement is not the same as alimony, but if you think for a second she walked out without any of Brett's money, that's just silly. She has literally said on air that she could've gotten more. Not hating or being critical, but she is not self-sufficient in any sense of the word. She has literally been taken care of her entire life (again she has said this multiple times herself).

I was so annoyed today with Taylor trying to equate her little studio apt to Clay's frigging glass mansion as if they both have the same lives. No they do not. He's talking about buying the whole 5,500 sq foot 17th floor so he can create an apartment within the apartment for guests and she's like O I know its so cramped when people try to stay over.

How about when Clay said it was bad enough when tv shows had food on that you can see but not taste or smell, but even worse on radio when all you could hear was the noises of eating. Something like that, anyway. Taylor answered basically that New York has the best food and she’s doing us all a favor 😂.

Ahhh! I thought he was being a bit dramatic!! Maybe he was saying its x$ for what most Americans think of when they think "apartment". My first apartment was 700sqft 1b/1b. I couldn't find one in Soho for less than 4k.
Most of these "apartments" are oversized closets...just crazy!

OMG yes. the story about Katie's grandma drives me BONKERS. It would have been WAY more impressive if he would have known her nickname, not her real name. Obviously. I know we've all talked about this story before but come on, Tay.

So, I've always wondered, are the callers set up beforehand or how is he able to be accurate about their family histories?

I don’t think Taylor would be crying if she knew it was fake.

I saw him when he was doing a small group reading in my city last fall. His readings on WUWT have always fascinated me and I wanted to see if he was for real. I walked away highly suspicious of his googling abilities.
He said that he saw that I had been to a concert recently (which I had the night before). That information was on Facebook though. Like an idiot, I had checked in to the location so even though my FB privacy setting are strong, that post was probably accessible to the public.
He also mentioned my husband by name and said a father-figure was there for him. He could have also easily found my husband's name via google. Unfortunately, my husband never knew his father so we're not sure if his father is alive or dead.
I'd like to go to another event the next time he's in town. I will definitely have a friend register and pay for me though so he doesn't have access to my full name ahead of time.

Totally set up. Most regular callers would say "hey girl hey" right? How many say that when he is on? I haven't listened to today yet, but I assume very few have, and if they do say that, it's because Thomas is catching on that that's what her listeners do/say.

You're right about that, but I've always wondered how only his set up callers actually get though, I've thought about calling myself....

Great point! I'll have to listen more carefully to how the callers interact with Taylor when they call.
