Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The only problem is I only listen on demand, and I guess I would genuinely want to ask about my sister. I guess that's why part of me wants to believe.

So, I've always wondered, are the callers set up beforehand or how is he able to be accurate about their family histories?

I just rewound to the segment and listened. No "Hey Girl Hey's". I never noticed that before! I can tell you this much...he's way quicker to read people and answer their questions over the phone than he is in person. There would be moments in person where he would be quiet for a minute or so concentrating.  There were about 10 of us in the room so it wasn't a large audience or anything. And I don't recall anyone in the room receiving information as direct as what callers receive over the phone when he's on the show.

I do think there are some mediums that are real. But not the ones that are out to get famous from it. I think it would be so awesome to connect with a loved one - like your sister. It would be so be worth it to seek out another medium to do so!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Thanks On Point. I think it would just give me a sense of closure, because I had distanced myself from her, and she committed suicide, so I feel immense guilt. I guess I just want to know that she's found peace(I feel in my heart that she has).

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

OMG, the Thomas John thing; I just don't know what to think about him! I've racked my brain trying to figure out how he could possibly fake these phone calls. Has any listener on here ever called and gotten to talk to him? The phone calls could be set up; I do remember one time that he did actually request Taylor take a certain call because he "had someone coming through for that person" which made me suspicious. But Taylor always seems so moved by the readings that if the calls were fake I have a hard time believing she knows about it. But you all are right- no one says "Hey girl hey", I've noticed that many times. And the whole thing with Katie's grandma I didn't buy at all- he gave her legal name, not her nickname. And I knew about Taylor's mom's friend Kim from her talking about it before he was on the show, so that info was out there. I'd love to call in when he is on, but I listen on demand. I'd like to ask him a question about my mom, who passed four years ago. And the info would not be Google-able, I have a very specific question for her that know one would know but me. If he could tell me that, I'd know he was legit. But somehow I doubt he could do it, and I never know when he is going to be on to listen live to call in so I probably will never get the chance. I looked him up online- he has been caught up in previous scams, which is not a good sign for a "psychic". But I'm still dying to know: real or not real.

Life's a bitch...and so am I.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I haven't listened to today's show yet but I can't decide about Thomas John. I don't know how it could be fake but it is also just so hard to believe its real. I do believe in intuition and the "mind's eye" but this is a different level. I don't know...like the last time Lori was on she seemed genuinely in awe...idk and the callers seem shocked. I don't know....I'd really like to know though lol

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

i think not doing the "hey girl hey" thing is just to save time, the screener probably tells the callers to just jump right into their question. also the callers could fake their name or not give it...

But don't you think if that were true, Taylor would be told not to say "hey girl hey" as well?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I'll look for it, there is an excellent article though about the Long Island Medium and questionnaires people fill out before they go on the show, then her only speaking to certain sections.

There was also a guy offering a million dollars to anyone that come forward and prove their psychic abilities, he had it running for something like 10 years an it was never claimed.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

* RE: Kardashian convo during 7 things - according to Taylor's own words, reality tv people OWE their fans access to every aspect of their lives because that is their "talent" (entertaining us with their shenanigans vs actual talent like acting or singing). Then she dubbed WUWT "reality radio"; hence, is Taylor, by her own standards, obligated to give her listeners unedited access to every aspect of her life? Or is this another classic case of Taylor making huge statements about something, but the same rules don't apply to her?
* TS: "I don't listen to any other radio or anything because I don't want to mimic other people." DEAD ⚰️
* Katie was at one point working on a reel of Taylor constantly contradicting herself. Again, DEAD. ⚰️
Also, I hope she actually follows through on this so our entire page can be vindicated, we're not just being assholes to be assholes. She constantly talks about how authentic she is, we just call out her (ongoing) hypocrisy.
*No clue who this actor is, but this interview...Taylor sounds like a complete effing lunatic with that over-exaggerated psychotic laugh. JFC, CALM DOWN.

Thoughts?

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The day Thomas John was on Taylor was saying something at the start of the show about not calling in right away. She then said those who are listening aren't the ones who are calling so her words were falling on deaf ears.

I wonder if Thomas John just has such a strong following that she knew it wasn't her regular listeners who were calling in to speak with him.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The New Jersey bashing is getting old. I'm from VA (which Emma correctly said was beautiful ) so I don't take anything she says personally, I'm just bored with it. I know this is discussed a lot, but it blows my mind that Taylor is still so obsessed with her ex in-laws.  I think Taylor wanted so badly to be like the Epsteins, and she's forever bitter it didn't work out. So you weren't accepted into the skinny, rich club... Move on and be happy with TD (who seems very sweet) and your awesome career!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

The more I hear Clay Aiken on the show, the more I love him. The way he can just SHUT her down when she hasn't really done a damn thing (i.e. Only has phoned it in on the 7 Things, which I've figured out, she really doesn't even research those...she even said so on Tues. "Hey, I don't write these! I just send the links!"); or when she tries to make a story out of something she knows NOTHING about and he calls her on her shit (nice try Tay...maybe if you would have clicked on the goddamn link, you would have know what the thing was about first!); or when she tries to talk over him or a guest...he's not afraid to say, "Let him talk!"  I'm starting to think she's getting louder and more obnoxious as she gets older. I just wish he would tell her to grow up and STFU about her ex-in-laws. She needs more therapy than she'll ever have enough money for.  Clay Aiken for President. Or permanent host...and Taylor and be rotating co-host.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

T starts getting more obnoxious when she has something going on in her life. Here's my theory:
She's realizing that if she stays with TD she will not have enough money to live like she wants to.
TD definitely wants to have kids, I don't think T does.
So she's at this crossroads if she should stay or leave.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I've gotta agree with FKCSTMom on Clay Aiken. He's great on this show and would be even better without her loud and frequent talking over him.

@
Siriusnj not only do I agree she's on the cusp of making a change I think she'll revert back to dating men and finding herself a sugar daddy.

Of course but I don't get the feeling that she prefers women, just that she was hurt by a man. She's attracted to men. She doesn't even try to hide it. I think if not TD then its back to husbands.

Knowing Taylor's personality, TD alleviates her responsibility for her failing marriage. Basically it's not her fault and nothing else could have been done to save her marriage because she is gay. Anyone else think they won't get married and Taylor goes back to dating guys?

The Epstein's rejecting her is still an unresolved issue for Taylor. She was so desperate for them to accept her like her own parents (and how her parents accepted Brett) that she can't possibly be the reason why they never approved. So she slams them constantly so she does not have to face the reality of her own shortcomings. That awful MIL that asked her to pick her up from a lunch and to use her name for a room upgrade on vacation. That awful SIL that dated her sisters ex. It's allll for her to to remain in denial. Rejection sucks. He chose his family over her. But her obsession with them is unhealthy.

I noticed that the day after Clay was on last week Tay said she found him to be exhausting and a lot on Tuesday. What?!?! Please keep it up Clay and be a part of the show as much as possible! #TeamClay

OMFG- She must have said it on Wednesday...I refuse to listen to Lori Bergamatto. She just completely rubs me the wrong way with all of her ass-kissing and after she got the "What a Man Wednesday's" taken down single-handedly, what little respect I had left of her as a professional went out the window (For god's sake, isn't she an editor of Good Housekeeping?).

So Tay thinks Clay is exhausting...and she thinks Rob is exhausting and a lot. I think she just has a hard time with A. People who actually know more than she does when they co-host, which has become obvious isn't hard to do. I actually thought she might have spent a little bit of time at least working on the 7 Things (although she's said in the past that Taylor 2 likes doing them so she 'let's her'), but from the comments she's made lately, she's really just reading headlines online and then sending in the links. And when she does the first few rounds of 7 Things, it's extremely obvious she's never even read the damn stories as half the time she doesn't know what the hell its really about! I think Clay actually embarrassed her this week on a few of them because they really weren't stories... i.e. Oprah having a show on Broadway; Nicole Kidman's kiss... I also think he can frustrate her because she wants to sensationalize something and because Clay really has the "celebrity" perspective, he can kind of burst that bubble sometimes. What I love about him, though, is that he's humble about it.

I hope Taylor will realize that he is a gift to the show, as is Rob Shuter, for this very reason...they are giving her, and therefore us, back door access to the inside story. Clay, and Rob, both have friends and colleagues who share info or invite them to events, and they end up coming to the show and talking to us about it all!  And since Taylor cannot seem to remember anything about anyone (I think she's just lazy...if it were important to her, she'd work harder at it), I've come to rely on these guys to give us the REAL Scoop, Scandy and Dirty Gossip!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

Would love to hear Clay and Rob on the show at the same time. I think having 3 people do the show could be a plus. They have had 3 in the past (Taylor, Victoria and Kenny). My guess is there is some reason for only having Taylor with one cohost but I will hold out hope for the return of the 3 person format.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I don't think it would ever work having Clay and Rob on at the same time. Rob is a gossip and that's his whole entire talent, if you can call it that. Clay despises gossips and will go out of his way to be fair to subjects of gossip because he's been the target and knows what it's like. Rob has been horrible to Clay on his gossip shows in the past and I don't think Clay would spit on him if he were on fire.

Oh I didn't realize Rob had been that way to Clay. Maybe Rob and Lori on the same day then? ;)

Rob and Clay are definitely my 2 favorite cohosts.

I so remember how horrible Rob was to Clay and others in the past (kind of like Perez). It’s the reason I never listen to Thursday’s shows.

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I am dying to figure out how to turn "Obsessively Talking about Your In-Laws" into a topic that I can submit to the Surprise Me topic of the day. I've been pondering this for a few weeks now...any ideas ladies (and gents, if we have them)? I only have the best intentions here, honestly...I'd like to point out she's hurting herself more than them by carrying on this massive vendetta. She not only looks like the bad guy the longer she harps on this constantly, but she's also the one internalizing all of the emotional stress. Although we will never know their side or what they are doing now, at this point they could be laughing their asses off at her because she can't let it go while they have completely moved on and are living their fabulously rich lives without that little thorn in their side. She's only hurting herself at this point (and annoying the people who have to constantly listen to it!).

I'm open for suggestions!

Re: Today's Show! (not actually *today*)

I'd love if a topic like that got through! I think it's so disrespectful to TD to publicly talk about her ex life constantly.  I also cringe a little every time Taylor says she's the breadwinner... it makes it sound like TD is just a stay at home girlfriend who doesn't earn her own money.

I almost had to turn the show off this morning when they were talking about teenagers getting jobs, drinking, etc.  Taylor barely let Carly get a word in without interrupting her!
