I freaking knew it!! I had NEVER heard her talk about watching Younger, with the exception of when she interviewed Hilary Duff and Debi Mazar one day on the show. And we've spent YEARS listening to her shit all over people that watch reality competition shows (Survivor, Amazing Race, DWTS, Idol). Taylor Strecker is LITERALLY the most INAUTHENTIC PERSON OF ALL TIME. Seriously how lame can she be? Wtf is she going to say on a Survivor panel?? she has zero knowledge of Survivor history/past players, etc. NOTHING to contribute to that conversation. Let me guess, we'll have to hear about how she wants to ship her SIL to exile island? Would she even understand that reference? I'd bet $$ she does not

She admitted to not watching younger? I know she had because she talked about it when it first came out. I even watched an episode as a result.

When did she admit she never watched younger? I'm pretty sure she talked about it when it first came out - or in season 2 or 3 at the very least. Pre-Getting Younger. She may not have been an avid watcher but she did see some of it. I'm sure of it.

Basically she said she caught it here & there but wasn't a regular watcher. I can't remember her ever talking about Survivor. Did anyone catch the conversation in 1st hour where she was saying there is someone on panel who works at Sirius who doesn't like her? Dalton Ross?

Just can't fathom how she got picked for this?

No, I will stick up for Taylor here, she has talked about Younger in previous years way before getting younger was even a thought. I think she watched the earlier seasons then fell off the train with Making a Murderer and other shows coming out. I very much remember her talking about it though.

I'm fine with amending my claim....I, in five years of listening, never heard her talk about Younger. Recently she did state she was not a regular viewer.

Pretty sure you hit the nail on the head - the look on DR's face every time she spoke last night was...rough stuff. I almost felt bad for her because she obviously had nothing to add since she doesn't actually watch "Survival". Then for some reason she brought up Bieber dressing like a girl on her period (seriously, wtf??) and I didn't feel bad for her anymore because she clearly never should've been on a Survivor fan forum. It was quite embarrassing to watch.

Just listening to Dr. Wider's segment from yesterday- the addicted to drama conversation got awkward so fast! I was cringing to hard as Wider read off the signs of drama addiction and they all applied to Taylor- you could hear the unease in both of their voices and Lori was desperately trying to do damage control....ugh, so uncomfortable, lol! But there are worse things than being addicted to drama, I guess- unless it actually is giving her anxiety. I wonder why the show causes her so much anxiety? She didn't elaborate and I don't understand.....what is stressing her out so much? After all these years, what could possibly be fazing her about the show....?

That is awful about the Survivor panel- I know she said she wants to say yes to every opportunity but probably not a good idea when you don't know the subject. That will just make things worse for her.

As an actual survivor viewer I’m disappointed in Taylor for taking a gig she had no business being a part of. Not very authentic especially when she refers to television like that as basic bitch tv.

Also at first I was impressed by Matt’s work ethic and promoting tay but more stories tay shares and the kind of jobs she’s been attempting show me he’s just grasping at straws. I don’t know if it’s his lack of ability or her lack of marketability.

Anyone remember the story with Emma last week where matt hooked her up with an agent and the terms of the contract was basically a 360 deal where they got a CUT of EVERYTHING. Even work she didn’t land for Taylor.
That’s a horrible deal, especially considering the agent according to tay got her nothing. even people who work on the peripheral of entertainment know that’s a shitty deal.
Now this survivor gig..... when she had no place being on the panel. Survivor is not a show you get to bullshit your way through.... the fans are also pretty loyal and diehard and can tell if you’re not an actual viewer of the show.

Umm. So I am only a few minutes in, but Taylor couldn't even BS a reason for being a Survivor fan. Really? You don't have enough info about the show to even say something vague like "I love how competitive it is" or "I love all the backstabbing behind the scenes"... nope. I used to watch it a million years ago, took some time off, it's right where it was in terms of excitement... right.

I love how they introduced her too....'Survivor fan'. My butt.

And the 3 people on the panel are HUGE in survivor. Andrea has been on it TWICE. Dalton writes about it and visits the damn sets.

You know Taylor will mock it weeks from now.

OMG- please tell me you are kidding and she did NOT bring up the Justin Bieber looking like a girl on her period thing..why, why, WHY would she say that on a Survivor panel??? That is so damned weird- that whole statement is so damned weird. I don't even understand what she means when she says it and it's just an odd thing to say that it gives me bethos every single time. How did that even come up? Did the other panelists look at her like she was crazy? I wish so much she would lay off the Bieber stories, they are not good and they are so old, too- seriously needs to stop with all of it.

So much to say.
I've been a daily listener for 8 years now. She has never watched Survivor and anytime its been mentioned she has always called it lame or shown no interest. I'm not even sure its ever been mentioned. She showed some interest in Younger when it was newer. I remember her having some of the actors on so I think she watched some of it for her interviews. Knowing her and her preparation skills I could be wrong lol. Anyway, back to survivor, it has NEVER been on her radar. Side bar - she's in the industry but She doesn't even know how all these companies are intertwined with each other!!!! OMG GURL!! *rolling my eyes hard*. I have never watched survivor but saw the fan forum on social media and watched a little bit of it. IT WAS SO AWKWARD. At least I know the concept and as I said I've never watched it, I could've come up with some stuff to add...it was the worst to watch, she could've tried harder to wing it. I HATE when she brings up that JB period thing, it's not funny and for a so called feminist she needs to stop with all the period hate and disgust. I didn't see that part when I was watching the fan forum but I would've died of embarrassment for her.
I also think its funny that she felt the shade being thrown at the question she got about hustling and work ethic. She knew what was up and didn't even give a good answer to those questions.

I watched about 20 minutes of it before I had to turn it off. It was so awkward! She brought up Beiber when asked what celebrity she would want to be in a power couple with...lamest answer! She was then asked what would be the hardest thing for her to deal with...no A/C; no running water; no toilets? Nope...outfit choice was her answer! She then chimed in that she would definitely be open to a Show-mance. I had to then turn it off. You could see how visibly annoyed Dalton Ross was.

I asked that Surprise Me question. I wasn't throwing shade. I legitimately wanted to know what SHE does to further her career. She didn't answer it at all.

Since she stumbled into her career & treated it as a hobby so long, does anyone think maybe she simply does not have the business savvy needed? Does she completely rely on Matt? If so and if he keeps getting her gigs where she comes off looking so inept, he will destroy her future.

It was just so bad! She had zero business being on that panel!

So I really want to go to the Philly stand up show. Are any of you also local to the Philly area? I thought about asking friends to go, but it's on a Wednesday night and I feel bad asking them to take off on a Thursday.

Also, how much shade is she putting at kenny when she says they have to charge more for VIP and meet and greets. Kenny never wanted to do that. She would mention it to him and he was so against the idea.

BethosGirlSC, i knew one of us asked that question, couldn't remember who though. It was a great question, maybe "Throwing shade" wasn't what i meant. It was a question that put her on the spot about her career and she didn't answer it at all. She knew she was being put on the spot and she knows shes lazy. I think she's just lazy. Being being business/career savvy can be taught but she doesn't seem too interested to learn. She relies on connections and Matt. Which is fine until she lands a gig like the Survivor Fan Forum where she makes a complete fool out of herself. I wonder though what a non WUWT listener thought of her.

I would think a non WUWT listener simply would have been unimpressed. She added nothing.

Oh and she called me out for throwing shade when she read the question. I didn't think it read that way at all so her getting her panties in a wad over it shows she knows she doesn't do nearly what she should career wise.

She is lazy...spoiled...and entitled...oh and a bit dillusional.

I am amazed...but shouldn't be...that she has never gone to see Carly or Emma do stand up! She wants to ride their coattails to make some money, but doesn't show support by going to see them herself.

I just... I haven't seen the show, but can only imagine how it was after reading all these posts. But I'm still almost speechless- it's taken me like 15 minutes to figure out what I want to say and how. Saying "yes" to opportunity is a fine way to get ahead, sure. You gain exposure, network, etc. But when you look like a total inept, lazy fool, how do you expect that to help you?! You're giving other people this idea of you, why would they ever want to hire you and help advance your career?

And the Bieber period pants "joke?" Really? She's been using that joke for like 2 years. It was NEVER funny, and now it's just lame. You're 35, not 21, your obsession with JB is kind of sad, not cute.

I'm super curious about how this whole Wake Up Live show is going to go- she mentioned yesterday that they are going to do Surprise Me topics. I don't understand how that is going to work at a comedy show. It will make sense to listeners, but what about anyone else who doesn't know the show and comes just expecting comedians? What if the topic that gets drawn is some advice question, or a question about Taylor's life? That's not comedy; won't people be a little baffled by that? Like, ok, why is this chick talking for 20 minutes about her former sister-in-laws? Lol, that will seem nuts to a non-listener.....

Listening to today's show On Demand...poor Kenny! She is totally minimizing what she did with him! He was doing business too BUT cared about meeting his fans and being accessible and not making money off them every time he can (Taylor= pay to see video; pay for webinars; pay for Goddess retreat; pay for meet & greet). Every time she points out that the meet & greet isn't free because of her agent, my heart sinks for how this slams Kenny & what he did with her.

And...SHOCKER! The pot smoking high school boyfriend story got told AGAIN! We know! Babette hated him. He linked you to Kate Bosworth. You have told it one million times!!!!

This is the part of the rotating co-hosts I don't like...she retells the same stories thinking the co-host of the day doesn't know them.

I felt bad for Kenny too. I went to three of his shows and he was always so humble and gracious. He hung out after every show to meet and take pictures. I even got to meet his mother after one show. I keep thinking about that last show that Taylor was supposed to do with Kenny in New Orleans. They sold tickets and made a huge deal out of it. Taylor ended up missing the whole thing (I think there was an issue with her flight...shocker).

Yes, no one got the joke, no one laughed. It was something about who would you like to see on Survivor or who would be good at survivor or something like that. (I was fast forwarding). Then when no one laughed at her Beiber comment, she said Zac Efron because he was cute. Um who what lesbian?

Is Zac Efron even in the conversation anymore? He's not even that famous. (but what do I know)

Shows how much she knows, Andrea said right after that (or Eliza I can't remember) "Oh I wasn't even thinking about celebrities....ummmm".

They were talking about old survivors though so I know Tay had no CLUE who they were talking about.

DESPERATION either on her part or Matt's. I'm not surprised that her agency didn't find her any gigs.

Does anyone know how much it actually is for the personal Meet and Greet?

That whole thing makes me sick. These people aren't huge celebrities. I hope no one does the extra meet and greet. Who does she think she is?

And it's also typical that she's never seen then do stand up. Like do your research on who is hosting the show with you! You aren't that busy.

And yea, if she felt shade with that question about hustling, she knows what people say about her and what she actually does. Getting on some dumb survivor fb live wrap up show says you aren't hustling or that your career just isn't happening.
