oh and she cant even keep up with social media or reach out to her listeners. she really talked shit on the way kenny did his shows and now expects people to buy a meet and greet ticket and then now this?!? come on, who does she think she is?!?! i would love to meet her but there are hosts of podcasts id rather pay money to see. this is just a way for her to get paid while on vacation and be able to write off the entire thing. just like when she was talking about writing off the clothes for getting younger and lori and the money expert girl were like "uhm no you can't do that" she's going to try to do the same thing. I get her hustle but this isn't how you do it if you want a long term career and success.

So glad you all had the same thought about this trip! My first thought when I heard was WHY? What is the end game here except to get a paid vacation? A one hour broadcast of WUWT (not even a full show- wtf?) on the beach and a boat ride- I don't get it. If she was going down for an event for Sirius to broadcast from that event I would get it. But to just randomly decide to do a (bare minimum) show from the beach with listeners attending? It's just odd; I really do feel like it's a sneaky way to get a paid/free vacation while listeners have to pony up thousands of dollars.

I'm catching up on the show and messages here... I agree that Taylor makes Babette seem like a pretentious monster most of the time.  I can't remember, but was it her idea to have Taylor invite Selena Gomez to her wedding?  It seems like something social climbing Babette would encourage, but I may be wrong.  Maybe my mom is the monster, but she didn't tell me to base my college choices on where I'd most likely find a successful/rich husband.  

I just listened to the show with Clay and I agree it was kind of painful to listen to! Good for him for standing up to Taylor. Her constant interruptions have been really irritating lately.

And finally... The whole Hey Girl Hey trip is gross.  I wouldn't find it so distasteful if Taylor interacted with her listeners (other than having them pay for a meet & greet), but she is nearly absent on social media.  I remember Taylor saying she wanted to go to T&C a few months ago but since flights were so expensive she and TD did a little staycation instead. How convenient that she now found a way to get those flights paid for! The whole thing is inauthentic... just like her being on the Survivor panel.

I asked for info on the trip. Let's see how long it takes to get info......

I'm not sure what Robs comment meant on her IG. I can't tell if that is a dig or not.

Taylor mentioned something about this being  TDs idea. Either way it's gross.

My take on Rob’s comment is that it’s solely about the picture. That seeing it made him laugh. I don’t think it was a dig. He’s usually pretty good about helping people promote their stuff.

Glad I am not the only one that picked up on the age thing. Taylor seems so concerned about getting older which is why I am confused by her saying she’s 35 when she is 34.

I am a long time listener as well (pre-wusband/Mr.P days). I have to say that I do think Taylor does a good job overall. Yes she has faults but we all do. If she was really driving me crazy and/or I didn’t enjoy listening to the show I would just stop listening. I find myself listening on demand at night rather than watching tv. Just wanted to give T a bit of love because I think people (including myself) can be extra tough on her sometimes.

Totally!  A friend and I considered the Dead & Company one but it's already sold out.  I think we spent over $500 on the last concert we went to by the time we bought tickets, food, drinks, parking, etc. Anyway, don't mean to go too off topic, but the price for this getaway is outrageous!
 

I mean I make a decent amount but would I pay 1400 to spend time with a talk show host to hear her botch about her inlaws and watch her get drunk? Abs not.

It's not only pathetic but its stupid. Especially knowing that YOU are being used so T can have a vacay.  She does not care about anyone or anything, she just wants your cash. That's it.

Oh and breakfast is extra......

If you want to go to T&K that bad, Take the other 1400.00 and bring a friend for a 4 day girls trip.
