I do think it might be a tad over priced, but if you break it down (food, drinks, activities, etc.) it isn't too far off? They have to make some money on it and I would expect her to...

Tad overpriced? This is a ripoff. Again like someone said, $1400 (NOT INCLUDING AIRFARE OF YOUR HOTEL OR TRANSPORTATION)

Flyer says:
1. VIP greeter...probably one of those limo drivers with a sign with your name on it. What a $50-$75 fee? (For the record it doesn't say it will be a limo. It's prob a hotel shuttle.)

2. Poolside cocktails & hors d'oeuvres...may $150ish. (That's a stretch).

3. Buffet breakfast which is part of hotel stay which is not included.

4. WUWT taping...free

5. Boat $100 (This is prob spot on per person)

6. Dinner, wine, transportation...$350? (3 course dinner. That is like any normal dinner. That's not FANCY. it's an app, dinner, and dessert. I can go to Chili's and get a 3 course dinner. I would say a dinner there with wine for one person is $150 MAYBE).

7. Breakfast...again part of hotel stay

To spend less then 12 hours with Taylor, $1400 (+Prob another 1500 to fly there and stay, because hey are you really going to stay for just two days?). Hey if you feel like it's a steal, go for it. More power to you.

If the $1400 covered everything maybe, but that is just the amount your shelling out for T2 to take a vacation on your dime. You're gonna be spending twice that much at least for the entire trip when you factor in airfare and hotel, food and transport, etc on top of that. Someone broke it down upthread. Remember, Fri/Sun are travel days so you're basically paying $3k to hang out with Taylor on a half day boat trip on Saturday. Like, that's it. Oh and a goodie bag. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah... seems like you're basically getting dinner and the boat ride. Of course they have to make some money, but the markup is ridiculous.

If Taylor goes down on Friday and comes back on Sunday, or even Monday morning, I'll give her a slight pass. I can never see that happening though... But if she wants to look like she has any integrity left, she won't stay additional days.

i think what bothers me the most is hearing on air that she talked about wanting to take a trip with TD to T&C but the airfare wasn't worth it for just a quick vacation so they decided to have a staycation. Also, in the weeks she's been mentioning this she has said it was for listener appreciation and this isn't appreciation at all.

i love how on instagram a listener mentioned how she wishes the trip was in NYC and Taylor replied "hey girl hey getaway" could come to NYC...problem with that is taylor wont get a free vacation out of the deal. One would think it would start in NYC maybe.

Bottom line the same trip with meals and drinks with Hotel and Airfare will cost you about 1800-1900 You're paying 1400 to see T in person. To me that's weird. No way in any world this is normal or acceptable. It's truly bizarre that she can do this and walk around with her head up. SMH.
You can do a walker stalker cruise for 1100. 4 days, events, food, real celebs etc...

Im going to say this one last time. A mediocre radio show host is charging YOU 1400 to hang out with her for about 4 hours so SHE can get a free trip. There is nothing of value for you. Nothing. Not dinner, nothing. You can go on your own, resorts offer happy hours with free food for God Sakes.

Yes! I loved that comment. I don't think Taylor cares about her listeners, and that's fine. Just don't pretend like you do when it's convenient! I started listening to the show years ago because it was entertaining, not because I ever expected Taylor to be my BFF. A week or so ago she said she wanted listeners to say hi if they ever saw her out in public. I thought it was super telling that she said it was because she might be saying something she didn't want heard... something like that, I forget the exact quote. It had nothing to do with actually wanting to meet her listeners and say "hi" or "thanks" back.

I have been following this page for a while, but this trip topic finally made me actually post.

First of all, I think the cost is INSANE. For those of you that follow Taylor on IG I posted a negative comment today and of course she ignores the people that are upset with the cost.
As a Canadian, the trip with exchange rate would be $1750 CAD, not including the longer and more expensive flight, plus everything there is US dollars so would be over $330 per night for the 'cheaper' hotel room. so my estimate is about $4000 CAD for 2 nights

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, at work so don't have time to proof read.

So without looking to far (used Expedia) I can fly in Wednesday, leave Monday for $1500US hotel/flight/breakfast.

I just wish she would have done a more cost effective vacay, stateside so that the travel would be less expensive (especially for the Canadians)- then I would have felt like her heart was in the right place. But she picked one of the most expensive islands she could and that just rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since I know Taylor won't be paying as much as the people she is inviting. I hope anyone going does some research and gets a real price point in their head because T&C is pricey AF. This will NOT be a $1400 vacay, as we have all discussed. It will be double and it's shitty of Taylor to not be forthcoming about that. And I'm truly bothered by the having to email your credit card info bullshit- that is so not a safe way to handle payment! There are so many sites for people to safely enter their info themselves- can't believe they expect people to send financial info that way. Who knows who is getting those numbers and how they are going to process them? Bad business.

and are they just using gmail? like not a company secure email? also...I just can't believe they wouldn't start something like this stateside. its not like she talks about travel in fact shes said for years how she hates to travel. this just doesn't make sense and the only thing i can see is that its giving her a free vacation. the event in PA with emma and carly i get and appreciate. doing something with stassi even I get but this has nothing to do with her brand. She could have even said to help support the island (even though it probably wouldn't be genuine) but theres just no purpose behind it. I guess if someone wants to pay for a super quick expensive trip that's on them but i hope they know they're getting used. im also working so im typing on the down low lol

Great point about the passport!! I didn't even factor that in. You'd definitely have to pay extra to expedite it at this point.
